QuickStart
Quickstart Learning, Inc. is an online tech provider that offers non-credit online bootcamps in Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science and Analytics, Software Engineering and Web Development. Online students will complete real-world IT projects, collaborate with their peers, and develop a portfolio highlighting their career readiness.
In the 24-week Cloud Engineering Bootcamp, students learn the fundamentals of networking and cloud computing. Students will receive hands-on training in Azure and AWS (Amazon Web Services) functionalities. Students will prepare for four IT certifications, including Azure fundamentals (AZ-900) and CompTIA Cloud+.
The 24-week Cybersecurity Bootcamp curriculum covers hardware and operating systems, network implementation, TCP/IP addressing and implementation, routing/switching, and Python. Students will prepare for CompTIA A+ certification. Ethical hacking, fundamentals of forensic tools, and incident responses for security analysis will also be covered.
The 28-week Data Science and Analytics Bootcamp prepares students to analyze and visualize data with Excel and Power BI. Students will also learn Azure HDInsight to manage Cloud resources, Spark to process and analyze large batches of data, and Transact-SQL to manipulate large data sets and relational data sets. Machine learning, R programming, Python, and predictive analysis are also covered in the curriculum. Students will learn analytics storytelling for impact, ethics and law in data analysis, and essential math for machine learning. For the last two weeks of bootcamp, students will choose their own “bonus tracks.”
The 26-week Web Development Bootcamp focuses on front-end and back-end programming languages, such as JavaScript, HTML5, React, and MySQL. Students build static web pages using HTML and CSS, and interactive web pages using JavaScript and jQuery. Responsive web design and using open-source design frameworks will also be covered. Students will learn Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, React.js, Bootstrap, and WordPress, and engage in at least four hours of live coaching each week.
The 23-week Software Engineering Bootcamp focuses on both the foundational and advanced software engineering skills that students need for the field. Students will learn front-end and back-end programming languages including JavaScript, HTML5, React, MySQL and more.
Career services are included in all QuickStart Learning, Inc. bootcamps, and students have access to IT mentors while enrolled in coursework and for up to 12 months following program completion. Upon program completion, students can have access to resume guidance, LinkedIn profile review, job search assistance, and mock interviews.

I started with quick start because I needed a Cyber Security Boot Camp that was affordable and had a good reputation. I researched several schools and decided Quick Start was my choice. I have always found the course to be well organized and support available at every step. Originally drawn by the program which is low cost compared to others but I learned very quickly that it was not worth it. The videos are unedited and practically is a guy reading a PowerPoint (the slides are not provided). You can find better curriculums from letsdefend or hackme at a fraction of the price. The job assistance is also a joke, they don't help you find jobs and all they ever do is post jobs which you're highly unqualified for. To start off, everyone at QuickStart was and still is extremely helpful and respond quickly. The instructor for the class was amazing! Coach Bill was above excellent. Quickstart cloud program is a scam. The video are of lower quality than you will find on youtube. The quizes are 5 questions. Not the in depth program that they advertise. Also, their support group is a joke. Great program both professors were well knowledge & cared about their students. Many different subjects to learn about & to go over. Over 50+ labs, not sure the exact number, practice exams for each subject, online lecture videos, & live professor classes weekly. Would recommend to a friend or family member.

Very expensive for what you can either learn for free on YouTube or learn much more from creators on Udemy. Video classes where very repetitive and if you can’t make them and need to watch the video you are out of luck if the teacher didn’t show the entire code on the screen.
I emailed the teachers asking for the code or for future videos to take a second and scroll the whole screen for those watching the videos and never heard back from anyone.

The person who is supposed to help with interviewing took months to reply stating “somehow your email got placed in my spam folder”.
During the courses I asked for help, the helper joined my zoom session left after about 30 seconds and told me to share my GitHub repo and he would look at it later, he didn’t.
I got him to join my zoom session again a week later the same process occurred but after the second time never heard from him again.
This bootcamp has been a complete disaster, I’m certain it has been better for other but my experience has been horrendous, I am currently trying to contact customer service and speak to them about many options including refund policies.

I am a student who graduated successfully and the job placement is non-existent (which is a school that states 100 % job placement or refund) I am still waiting for a response on my refund but may have to sue them. I was working in the field of Customer Service in a Call Center but working over there made me realize I wasn't learning anything new and that is when I developed the idea of acquiring a new skill. After much research I decided to select the Florida Atlantic University's Bootcamp for Web Development through Quickstart.
For someone who had no prior experience in the field, this bootcamp seemed perfect for me. Right from the Enrollment process, till the point where I connected with my Academic Advisor, it was all smooth sailing. These guys even provide support through an instructor that is available on a need basis. I would specially like to thank my instructor who, according to me is one of the most learned mentors I have worked with. Zsolt truly went above and beyond to help the whole class out. With his help and a little combined studies, I was able to quickly get started and work through the curriculum and build my knowledge along the way. I have learned so much during my time in the Bootcamp, all the while feeling supported, through bi-weekly mentor sessions, weekly self-paced, and one on one support when needed. I have just finished the bootcamp and I am looking into possible opportunities for my official career change. I would recommend this course to anyone that is looking to get into web development.
