Nucamp bootcamps offer excellent and affordable training for entry-level jobs in tech. They provide the flexibility of 100% online, part-time, self-scheduled study with the accountability and support of active mentoring and live, online workshops. Bootcamps include Cybersecurity (15 weeks), Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks), Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks), Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks), Solo AI Tech Entrepreneur (30 weeks), as well as AI Essentials for Work (15 weeks), an intro to Web Development Fundamentals (4 weeks of HTML, CSS, & Bootstrap), and a Job Hunting Bootcamp (4 weeks for anyone, educated or self-trained, looking for hands-on help with finding their next job).
Students of Nucamp's longer bootcamps are prepared for junior, entry-level jobs. In addition, several bootcamps prepare students to take industry-recognized certification exams from JSE, Python Institute PCEP, and CompTIA, etc. Nucamp offers career services to its graduates, including 1:1 career coaching and exclusive access to Nucamp’s curated, nationwide job board. Graduates enjoy lifetime access to their curriculum, including updates, and to Nucamp's online learning community for continued networking and career support.
Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. See their website for scholarship opportunities. New bootcamps start every 5 weeks with a dedicated instructor guiding small cohorts of typically no more than 20 students. Admission is open to all 18 years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

Then I found out about Nucamp and figured it would be the best way to get into the tech industry without breaking the bank incase I realize that this isn't for me. So far the experience has gone smoothly and I'm actually learning how to make websites. This has been an investment I haven't regretted.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

There are 3-4 courses that are involved with the entire class. This first section - the Bootstrap course - was rather entry level. Even though I had never used Bootstrap extensively, this was not as advanced as I had in mind. I did learn, just not in the step-forward I personally was looking for. This Bootstrap course would be great for those that have some programming experience with JavaScript, and would like to learn about a frontend framework. If you know/have used a frontend framework, this may feel like a refresher for the most part.Overall4.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

Definitely a good value in comparison to other online courses. Very hands-on. There is a ton of information covered in a short period of time, though, so you've got to come prepared with a clear schedule.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

I saw my commisson check slashed and realized that anyone could do what I could do. So I joined Nucamp because I am a working adult and I wanted to attempt to become a programmer.
Nucamp has a bunch of programmers that are willing to help you. I would say that I learned a lot from my experience at Nucamp. I was constantly overwhelmed. There will be times where you will be very frustrated and you will have to wait on people to help you. If you are committed and you utilize slack and you watch the videos and do all of the exercises you will learn a ton. But it will be a challenge. Message your instructors as much as you can and knowledgeable students.

I also lacked confidence because I wasn't able to even get anybody to consider me to be a part of their company or team. I had that feeling of hitting a brick wall and couldn't break through. Having a credible backing is just the boost I need to make that next step. I think it is the right decision for sure, and what is offered from start to finish is incredible. I originally saw an ad for NuCamp and did a bit of research. I am very happy with how the class has proceeded in the first module, Python fundamentals. This route was definitely the right choice for me. The self-paced schedule during the week with the weekly workshop if a perfect combination. Having deadlines at the end of the week motivates me to keep up. I will most likely continue on the front-end track when I get done. If they create a data analytics tract that focused on different ways to work with Excel, I would be on it!Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

Not only is it affordable, the instructors are top tier. As a newbie, it's very hard, but I don’t worry because the instructors are helping every step of the way. As long as you are persistent, you will gain the knowledge needed to pivot to your new career. It's part time, so you can pace it as much as you need to. I'm not a morning person so I complete the courses and review in the evening. Saturday workshops are fun and challenging. The instructor gives a review for the week and we have a challenging assignment after the review. We work in teams to find the solution. Since I'm a newbie I always finish late but my instructor is always available to help when I have questions. So far so good! I'm very pleased.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

I know most of them you still end up being self-taught with youtube, udemy and Codecademy and other resources. Also, a lot of use of pair programming. I figured even if Nucamp was the same I would be saving a lot of money but still get the accountability, boot camp grad title, and all the networking at a cheaper price. Well, I honestly think a lot of the material is lacking and definitely need outside resources to learn more things. Especially the backend course is still rudimentary and needs a lot of work. Also don't really get pair programming except once a week. Lack of people getting study groups and pair programming set up throughout the week among other things. But the rest of what I initially thought was pretty accurate as far as networking and having a title under your name. It states 78% placement rate but we will see with the new backend if that stays the same or not.Overall3.0Curriculum3.0Job support3.0Instructors5.0 -

I just finished Nucamp's Fundamentals of Web Development. Nucamp is the least expensive among the different coding bootcamps I have looked into. I started seriously looking at them 2 years ago. At first I was a bit skeptical of Nucamp because of the affordable price. I was wrong. The quality of the content and the quality of the live instructor for my cohort is way above the price that I paid for. Let me add tho that with no background in HTML,CSS and Javascript I took a course on HTML and CSS and studied by myself to prepare before I finally registered to Nucamp's Fundamentals of Web Development course.Overall4.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -
