The reason I came to Nucamp was originally, the cost but the tuition is only the tip of the iceberg. The weekly activities and meetups are inciteful and relevant. I have enjoyed my time here. -

Web Development Fundamentals Course
I liked Nucamp because it was affordable and the instructor was very understanding and helpful in my journey. In the Fundamentals course, my instructor helped turn a 4-week beginner course from daunting to easily understood and succeeded in having us, the students, retain the knowledge. The only con was mandatory 4-hour workshops. -

I enjoyed the class and how intimate it is seeing how only 12 people can be in it at a time. Teacher really cared and made sure everyone stayed on track for successful completion. -

Awesome flow, everything is linked and organized so you don`t need to guess what you studying or jump around. Also NuCamp encourage you to do your own search for challenges, and Always have a instructor on slack to give you help. I never had to wait more than an hour for an answer, and if is too late I just went to sleep and in the morning when I was going to work I saw a response.
Thanks for everything, my Instructor was amazing, looking forward to next step -

I chose Nucamp Fundamentals because it was one the only entry level camps that offered me to be able to create a personal web page. The content was canned projects in all of the other camps I researched, but Nucamp allowed me to make my own web page/profile. I added my personal touches and expanded on every project from the weekly challenges. I was looking for content to have in my portfolio that was unique, not just canned challenges and Nucamp allowed me to add my personal touches to each assignment. You get out of it what you put in and collaborating in our class's dedicated SLACK channel was a simulation of real life peer coding and this was the most valuable part of the course, IMO.
Creating new tech friends that I will keep collaborating with in the Nucamp community is a huge perk.
I liked that the investment was low money and time only 4 weeks less than 400 bucks. -

I think for the money's worth, you definitely get what you pay for. The instructor I had was very knowledgable and was very helpful during our weekly workshops and overall learning. The learning itself really depends on how much time you put into the course. I'm only about a fourth of the way through, but I will say that the course material taught through the videos were a bit dry. The price itself is still significantly cheaper than most bootcamps you'll find online, but you can still find even cheaper alternatives for purely learning material via Udemy. That being said, I believe that everything you get with Nucamp (responsive and knowledgable instructor, access to communities on slack, weekly workshops, portfolio project, learning with other students) makes it worthwhile. I've paid exorbitant amounts of money for classes in a single quarter of college, and the amount of money you spend on the full stack course is a fraction of that. So, you really have to put it in perspective when comparing the price of traditional learning versus this bootcamp. Plus, the full-stack course is 22 weeks, and you get to learn Bootstrap, React, React Native, Express, MongoDB, and Node. So, to me that's worth it. -

I chose Nucamp because the price was very affordable . Also for being a newbie to coding ; they offered the Web Developer course which gave me an insight into the industry and what to expect.
What I liked most was how flexible it is to take a bootcamp and still have some time during the week for personal life. But I recommend you study and focus because it does move forward quite a bit.
Overall, its a great experience and I am looking forward to the next level. Thank you Nucamp!

I have just finished the HTML, CSS, Javascript intro course. After doing my research, I decided to commit to Nucamp. The low price when compared to other schools around me was obviously a big plus. I realized there are cheaper or free ways of learning by yourself and watching videos, but I need the commitment required for the workshops and instructors. This program is great for beginners or pros and lets you learn at your own pace while still keeping it challenging. I can't wait for my Full Stack course to start! -

This is a great intro course to web development. I feel like I have a solid foundation of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The course is well-organized and you can work at your own pace. The community here is very helpful and supportive. You never feel like you're stuck on a problem with nowhere to turn to.
I can't emphasize how much I learned over the course of 4 weeks. I have taken other free courses, and while they are great, NuCamp really shines when it comes to pointing you in the right direction in terms of what you need to learn, what resources/tools to use, etc.
I recommend this course to anyone interested in getting a better grasp of what it means to be a web developer without having to take on the full commitment of a front-end/full-stack boot camp. -

My First Bootcamp Experience
I chose Nucamp because I wanted the experience of working in a group setting. I like the weekend option because working full time, I don't have the option of going full time bootcamp that other offer. The instructor is there to help if you have question. -

A Great Experience!
Nucamp provided a cheap and insightful learning experience in coding. Over the course of four weeks, I learned the fundamentals of coding in a way that allowed me to manage other aspects of my life without feeling overwhelmed. I learned a lot and had a wonderful instructor to help me when I struggled. I would recommend this class to anyone who is interested in coding! -

I would recommend NuCamp's Fundamentals course to anyone considering development. It is a great course in that it covers HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and you can jump in from wherever you're at, even if you have never coded before. Also, I appreciate that they take feedback and are continuously improving the course. I would say, there is a high need to schedule in your daily study time so that you are not feeling lost or left behind at the end of the week!
I like the flexibility that learning throughout the week on your own time gives you. You are not without help, being connected to classmates and the slack community.

I chose NuCamp because it was a low-cost, online option to refresh my fading coding skills. I chose the Full Stack option. 6 months of online learning seemed like a long time before it began, but the weeks really flew by when I got into the rhythm. I knew that a bootcamp wouldn't provide a completely thorough programming education, but it was just enough to get me thinking in code and inspire me to dig deeper on my own. It's so helpful to have a small group of students to work with and a dedicated instructor to answer questions. I never felt like I was trying to learn coding all on my own because there was a large community of fellow students working on the exact same exercises with me. NuCamp was a great experience and I'm so glad I decided to do it! -

Nucamp offered a cohort in Savannah and that was a community I could use locally. The content offered along with the community for the price is what put the icing on top. I really like the structure of the program and seeing progress made each week. It's a great boot camp. -

I chose Nucamp because it offered an affordable and flexible alternative to the full-time bootcamps I had seen previously. Those traits helped me decide to give the Fundamentals class a shot, the quality of instruction and structured curriculum are what got me to sign up for the Full Stack course. Nucamp offers an excellent education at great value and I would recommend it to anyone looking to start coding. -

I chose Nucamp for the hybrid concept though due to resent events it wasn't possible. I appreciate the flexibility for rescheduling and an array of instructors to help facilitate the coding experience giving me an option to find a personality that fit me character. -

I just completed the course and went ahead and moved forward with enrolling in the upcoming Full Stacked course. I have ZERO background in programming and I strongly feel that taking this Fundamental course was impactful. The Fundamental course provided the foundations I needed and I utilized other tools like youtube to learn more about those concepts. I really liked the small class size and felt I was able to get a lot of one on one help from my instructor, Mr. Ahmed. He made my experience a very pleasant one. He is full of knowledge and guided our class throughout every workshop. I'll update my review after I complete my Full Stack course. -

I just finished up the Web Dev Fundamentals course and this is my review of that curriculum: First, this course is not meant to make you job-ready Web Developer and they even tell you that in their Open House videos on Youtube. This is mainly to get your proverbial feet wet in reading, writing, and applying code, as well as, to see if this is something you actually enjoy doing. I signed up for this course after the COVID-19 pandemic hit, so the workshops were all done through zoom, online. For $349, you'll have access to their gazillion slack channels, knowledgeable instructors, and other people from your community, even people from other communities! One of the main reasons I chose NuCamp: Budget. I don't have the resources or the funds to be able to afford the other bootcamps I was also interested in. Location: I have my own family and I can't simply have them uproot to move to a different state, just so I can attend a bootcamp. Community: Not only would I get the chance to meet other people who were in the same boat, but because we're in the same state, we could potentially meetup at a local spot to code together in person, outside of the classroom. You can learn everything in this curriculum by yourself for free, but it never hurt anybody to have access to a community and staff on hand to make sure you're learning properly, which makes the learning process a bit more enjoyable and efficient. Before finishing this course, I'd already signed up for the full stack because I'm interested in learning more about the front-end as well as the back-end. This course will prepare you for what's to come, whether it's the front-end web design or the full-stack path courses they offer. tl;dr: So far, So Go0d! -

It's been both, a challenging and exciting educational path. It's no joke that you have to invest the time needed to learn this program, so be sure to come ready to learn. I've appreciated the method in which content is presented. Nice, bite size pieces, straight to the point with supporting exercises.
Looking forward to my next steps with the full stack program. -

I like Nucamp because it focuses on practical stuff! Here is my expectation when I'm taking some classes or going through a training: I like to see most of the theories/knowledge that I learned - being applied in developing some website or application; Nucamp gives me a lot of hands on training to try and implement different things and it meets my expectation so far. I hope it will do the same for the rest of the courses. -

This review is after the Front End Bootcamp & before the Back End Bootcamp.
Nucamp does a great job of giving you a strong foundation for most of React & React Native for web & mobile development. I strongly feel I can build my own portfolio of websites & mobile apps with what we've learned. The only thing I would improve about the course is finding an easier way to understand Redux. I personally think it will take extra resources to understanding Redux beyond the course.
The other thing I want to mention is that the course doesn't go into libraries beyond an introduction and basic functionalities. They fully expect you to delve deeper into each library to gain beyond a basic understanding which is completely understandable but something I personally would have liked to be in the course.
The instructors I've had were all incredibly helpful and working along-side students even in an online-only setting was a great experience. My personal recommendation is that if you decide to do the Bootcamp, do your project with a partner. It helps you learn from them, holds you accountable and you are forced to learn Git very well.
Overall 9/10 for the cost/value/time I spent on the Bootcamp.
If you would live to view my project portfolio from the course you can find it here: https://github.com/stevenCsaunders/fit-brews-react
My partner & I worked on it together as students. Note: My partner is a professional UI/UX Designer so it's quite pretty visually for a project and I was able to learn quite a bit from him.

I chose Nucamp because of the price, and the flexible workflow. Sunday-Friday online, and 9 am-1 pm workshop on Saturdays (In-person or Online because of Covid-19) is doable since I work full-time. I liked collaborating with my classmates, and my instructor was great and very helpful. The only issue I have is the way the material is presented. The person doing the videos sounds like she's reading from a script, and quite frankly doesn't sound very lively. I've taken courses on Udemy and the instructor has a way of catching your attention. I could do a course on Udemy, and the next thing I know three hours have passed. I watch the videos on Nucamp, and I find myself losing focusing, and fiddling with my phone. All in all, Nucamp is a great Bootcamp, and every dime I spent was worth it! I don't regret taking the course, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn code.

I chose Nucamp for the combination of in-person and online instruction, the part-time commitment, the accountability it provided, as well as for the price. It did not disappoint. I really enjoyed having a cohort of other local students to learn alongside, as well as an in-person instructor. Even when we had to switch to virtual workshops due to COVID-19, the experience was still positive. I would never have learned so much on my own; the weekly Saturday workshops were crucial to me sticking with it over the course of many months. The online weekly instruction is wonderful, and I have learned so much. Like any course, you get out of it what you put into it; you need to do some figuring-out of things on your own to get the most out of it. The portfolio projects are a great way to do that, and it's nice to have the Nucamp community and your instructor to help you out when there are things you don't understand. -
