I chose this bootcamp for the price and locality. During the covid-19, all workshops where you had to meet were done via live video conference. The bootstrap course was simple and to the point. The portfolio project assignment direction was a little ambiguous if working in groups since the git team workflow for wasn’t covered until people were having issues with git for group work. The instructor was pretty knowledgable and we had a slack channel for help (former students could also help in the slack). The instructor was timely in her messages and gaves lots of feedback. There’s still the rest of the bootcamp to do but for some reason I cant complete the bootstrap course without submitting a review which just feels like Im forced to write one. But my review here is my own experience so I’m not making this up anyway. -

Convenient and affordable. A great way to get started in a new career or to just find out what coding is like. The pace is challenging yet the coursework is very well presented in an easy to follow format. -

I just finish HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I learned a lot from here at an affordable price.
The instructor very knowledgeable, the communities are cool! you get to connect with many people who have a passion the same as you! It feels great to be in a motivating environment like this.
Don't worry, if you have no experience. They won't be left you behind.
There are instructors, classmates, and people in communities trying to help and support you. It was a good experience and those were all I like about NuCamp! -

I heard about NuCamp from a colleague at work who'd signed up for the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript course and was super excited about it - just before I signed up for a similar bootcamp whose price point was near the $10k mark. When I visited the NuCamp site to see what was being offered, at first I thought it was a "too good to be true" situation, as the lower pricing was mildly unnerving and I didn't trust it at first. However, after more research, consulting with my colleague, and finding out that I could go to classes after work, rather than quitting work to attend, I went ahead and signed up - I don't regret it at all! Though challenging, the coursework is engaging, the resources provided are super useful, and I love the sense of community that is fostered with the weekly workshops! I'll be back next month for the Full Stack Bootcamp. :) -

I chose Nucamp for the price (it's a damn good price) as well as the ability to see an instructor once a week. I love the fact that I can go at my own pace but I still have the support of a seasoned professional. -

Coding Fundamentals Course
I have never done an online training program before and I was happy to be involved in this program. Our instructor, DJ, did a very good job. I thought that content for the fundamentals class was fine for an introduction. I would like to continue on the coding journey with additonal courses. -

This is a great way to get your feet wet into the coding world. From here its easy to tell if you're going to be able to "handle" the upcoming course work for Full Stack. I like the self-pace and the limited student count that made it easier to interact with the instructor. -

I chose Nucamp becuase of it's flexibility and weekend in person workshop. Due to COVID-19, in person workshop was held on online but so far in my opinion, online workshop proven to be as good as in person workshop.
I think in person workshop and online workshop system would work well together with Nucamp in future.
This has been only a 5 weeks now with Bootstrap course. but I'm really having fun and enjoy every weekend workshop.
Thank you for the great courses and systems that you have. I hope to finish this fullstack course completely and hope to become Nucamp graduate alumni!!!

The ROI for this course was exceptional. I took the bootcamp with the goal of learning more about the basics of web development as I work closely with developers and wanted to better understand how they need product requirements communicated to them. It was well worth the time and $400 investment...and I may even have found a new hobby for myself! This bootcamp was challenging but also realistic and manageable on top of an 8-5 with regular time committed every evening. Definitely requires the support of family to help you succeed. -

Nucamp Review
The curriculum is designed so that people with no prior programming knowledge can understand and tackle the tasks. There were plenty of exercises and assignments to along the way. Nucamp teaches you to be autonomous and find solutions on our own, but will assist when needed. I enjoyed my experience in the first 5 weeks, and can't wait to continue to the next section. -

Very interested in learning coding and breaking into web development. I've had no previous experience in coding and found the Nucamp Fundamentals class to be very helpful. It is a lot of information, so be sure to have time to set aside daily. However, material is very easy to understand and my instructor was frequently available, patient and always willing to help. Definitely recommend this course! -

NuCamp Full Stack course
I loved the instructors support and their technical competencie through out the program and I defintely vote for nucamp for their full stack course since as a beginner we should need a guided path on where to start and how to explore further on the advanced topics. -

NuCamp Review
I think I learned a lot in a sort time, even if some of the course materials were a bit (in my opinion) out of order and should be a bit more in depth. That being said, I gained access to a lot of resources and information I did not previously have, and I feel confident that I should be able to apply those concepts int he near future. -

It is probably the best bang for your buck, when it comes to learning web development. Don't get me wrong, it is a time commitment, but when it comes to learning, and being able to maintain your schedule, it is probably your best bet. -

I've just finished the Bootstrap course, have a week of "break" (I'll probably keep working on my portfolio project which, thankfully, can always be better!), and then I'll be going on to the React and through the entire Fullstack program!
Having just completed 5 weeks of working with my instructor periodically throughout the week and for a few hours each Saturday, I feel a bit sad to no longer have class with her. I trust that future instructors will be just as wonderful, and I can still find her on our Nucamp Slack, which has channels for each cohort, each cohort's location, each class section, a general channel, a random channel, and more! There are lots of opportunities to connect, even while we are all forced to be remote (thanks, COVID-19!). It is cohort-based, so I do get to have some familiar faces in the next class!
I highly recommend being very intentional about working with a partner on your portfolio project. And about learning how to use github. It is possible to make it through the course without doing much of either, just as it's possible to cut corners on so many things. Don't. You want those skills.
In the end, I feel much more familiar with how html, css, scss, bootstrap, javascript, and jquery work together to build a website, and I've developed a patience and focus to work on one small bit at a time, with the greater picture in mind. I did have some familiarity with these things before, but there was still a lot to learn as I went through the exercises and challenges.
Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone that wants to have structured study of the basic web development fundamentals. It doesn't go ridiculously deep, as it's only 5 weeks long and part time, but it will let you keep your job and it will give you a lot to chew on. You will be able to assemble a website and run it locally. You will know how to format it to make it look prettier. And you might even have fun figuring it out. -

I chose Nucamp because of its flexible schedule, since I have a full-time job and cannot take regular classes. I ended up really liking the Saturday workshops, and find the learning style during the week to be challenging, but not impossible. I'd recommend this course to anyone! It does take a good amount of self-discipline, but the course information is usually engaging enough to keep you interested and wanting to learn more. All the instructors are super helpful and kind, and genuinely want to see you succeed. -

Nucamp is an outstanding bootcamp. It is perfect for those of us who have a day job. I spent 14-20 hours per week including Saturday morning team meetings. My instructor was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It was fun to learn in a group where we could share ideas. They say you get what you pay for, so I was skeptical, since Nucamp is so much less than the 5-figure full-time bootcamps, but this is totally worth the money! I highly recommend Nucamp and I'll be taking more courses from them. -

NuCamp Great Value
NuCamp doesn't teach you everything about front end development but they put you in a very good learning situation/environment. The basics they teach you are pure fundamentals that are absolutely needed in order to become a very good developer. React and React Native are excellent courses! -

Nucamp: Bootstrap
I chose Nucamp because it was the bootcamp that provided me with the best option to study remotely and on my own time, while also giving me live access to an instructor twice a week and to a whole community 24/7 through Slack. Saturday classes were well-paced and full of exercises that tested what we had learned during that week. Amy, our instructor, was always helpful and attentive. -

The ability to do it at my wont pace and fully online is a major bonus. Having Saturday for feedback and to go over the week with a knowledgeable instructor is irreplaceable. The price point isn't hard on the wallet either. -

I took the 4 week web fundamentals bootcamp. Didn't know what to expect, but i'm glad i took it as I learned a lot. The price is fair for what you learn. I liked that it was a small group with one instructor where you can get personal help when you need it. -

This was my first boot camp and I really liked it considering the fees charged for the course, it is really good for a person beginning to learn to code. It definitely helps a person understanding if this is the right career for them. It gives a good start to a beginner and will give you fundamentals to become a web developer.
