I find this bootcamp very helpful, The only thing I guess that I would change for myself, was the lack of knowledge I had prior. This bootcamp does do a very good job breaking things down, but it is is very fast paced and hard to retain everything at once. I have attended the python fundamentals course and i would like to say it has exceed my expectations. 
Start with the things i really enjoy:

• Very structural curriculum for each week and enough material for students to study between each workshop. 
• Very well designed workshop challenge, its always helpful to code together with a senior programmer and improve yourself. 
• The instructor is very seasoned and patient, very good at explaining things and lead us to solve complex problem. And the code review is very detailed and professional.

And something i wish can be improved:

• I know this is the very first part of the whole bootcamp, however i feel like it is missing some practical element in the curriculum, i would really be interested in how in the real world  a project looks like and how programmers are working together. And some insights on how to further develop your python skill for tech interview is always helpful.
• Some of the self study content can be quite difficult and the additional material doesn't seem 100% fit to that specific session. 
• Maybe some more hands on code challenges will be useful. So we got to exercise every part of the knowledge we just learned.

The bootcamp is moves along very fast, you consume a lot of information in a short time. You really need time to be able to research and spend time with the lessons you've learned. I took the bootcamp route because it was quicker than college. I chose Nucamp, because it was affordable, also it was recommended online for my region. My work schedule is strenuous, so this teaching style can be very difficult. You go through so many subjects at such a fast pace, and in my opinion, not in depth enough. That's why there has to be enough time to really spend time going back over the lessons, plus researching outside resources to help you understand the course material. Read less

I have been a Software QA Engineer for a couple of years now (responsible for quality and application testing); but coding, creating stuff from scratch, simply making it work has been fascinating me for quite some time. Besides, developers get a lot of credit for the work they do. ( QA often gets overlooked). 
I was looking to learn something new and have been learning JS and FE on my own for a couple of months at that point. My current company offers a yearly stipend for self-development, which was just enough to pay for the FE course (or pretty much any course in NuCamp). 

My goal is become a developer, move up, gain experience, learn BE and make a load of money and gain even more respect for doing such a challenging job. In addition, I love challenge and problem solving.

There is job assistance, I just haven't used / explored enough of it yet, so I haven't rater it but it seems solid. Like for this kind of money this is great to have all the options they mention and offer in the end. Read less

   The main reasons I picked Nucamp over the rest was price, class dates availability and  a review on youtube by Don the Developer. I took the Html, Css, Javascript class and I loved it because you had to teach yourself during the week and on the workshop day we would review with the instructor anything we didn't understand. I believe this way of learning is good because it resembles what will happen in real life, you have to try to find information on your own and know when to ask for help. I plan on taking front end bootcamp and backend next. After I finish the bootcamps I would like to work for start ups or contract work. Read less

I have had a very good experience with Nucamp ! The style (part-time, "offline" lessons, weekly online workshops) worked out very well for me. It was much more engaging than a C programming course I took in college. I am hoping to continue with them and move on to the Full Stack course.  Read less

I've learned so many new things during my bootcamp through exercises and I have more experience that I've never had before. I manage to fix the problem by doing more research, and gain skill in communication, research, teamwork, self-taught and so on. I enrolled in Nucamp because I had an interest in python and SQL. The Backend Development course seemed like the right choice for me at an affordable price.  I've dabbled in python prior to the course but didn't understand the fundamentals well enough and felt I needed some guidance.  The fundamentals were broken down and made easy to understand, accompanied by small projects and exercises to apply what I'd learned.  Upon completing this bootcamp I aim to be an SDET or Software Developer.

I chose the Nucamp fundamentals bootcamp. It provides a structured way to learn with instructor support, additional resources, and a weekly live session.  I learned the essential things I needed to learn at a price that was cost effective.  I plan on learning more with Nucamp (their full stack & mobile) and would recommend them anyone looking for more learning structure than being self taught but also looking for a more economical way to do it. As as system analyst, I wanted to expand my horizon into development for a career change. Nucamp courses so far has been the right choice for me. I was inspired to take the leap with Nucamp because I was looking for an affordable learning structure so that I can learn to code.
