I cannot speak highly enough about Nucamp! This company has exceeded all of my expectations and has truly been a blessing.

What led me to enroll in Nucamp was a desire to improve my professional skills and become more competitive in today's job market. I was looking for a program that would not only teach me the latest technologies and skills but also provide me with real-world experience and hands-on projects. Nucamp stood out to me because of their reputation for excellence and their commitment to providing their students with the resources and support they need to succeed. And their affordable courses.

Let me tell you, Nucamp did not disappoint! The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and they went above and beyond to make sure that every student understood the material and felt confident in their abilities. The curriculum was challenging but engaging, and the projects we worked on were both relevant and exciting.

But what really set Nucamp apart was the community. The support and camaraderie I experienced during the bootcamp were truly unparalleled. From my fellow students to the instructors and staff, everyone was invested in my success and committed to helping me achieve my goals. I was inspired to take the leap with Nucamp because I was looking for an affordable learning structure so that I can learn to code. Upon doing so I have learned that I am very happy with my experience there, were some elements that made a learning a little difficult, but they were easy obstacles to overcome provided you have the drive and commitment to learn. I signed up for NuCamp based on price and flexibility as well as how supportive the staff and leadership are.  It was absolutley the right decision, the instructors have been great along with all the NuCamp staff.  I will be moving on to the remaining bootcamps in the fullstack path. Read less

What led me to enroll was how flexible the course was to my schedule. I think it was a good decision, but I would rate this course a 6.8/10. The reason is that they encourage you to find more resources beyond the boot camp. It's a good thing, but help should be readily available considering how much I am paying with this course. It is ridiculous how the Discord server has over 300 people and still no one responds until a day or 2 later. There's not really any dedicated tutor, so they expect you to ask around for help. Not the most professional. Not too mention the discord server isn't the most private. Its not professional to have to ask your question in a group chat. Unless it is a simple question, its like you can't ask what you really want because other people need to use it. I feel like my knowledge is behind. Yes I did learn new things, but that's because I had to go beyond the bootcamp to other resources. I also had prior knowledge before the bootcamp but if you're brand new to coding, I wouldn't recommend unless you have a tutor or something that can really help you. 
Regardless of my critique, I do aspire to achieve a job in back-end developer. My hope is that this bootcamp really was worth my time.  Read less

What led me to nucamp was the price and the scholarships avaliable for women. I felt all the information learned was valuable however the pace at which you earn is very excelerated for a person that has never coded before. Learning key concepts took more time than given to fully understand. Im still trying to rap my head around some concepts that I thought I knew but when I try to apply them I've actually completely forgotten. Over all, despite the material pace I feel more aware of the concepts despite not fully grasping the concepts. I believe my learning style is more traditional in nature and less reliant on videos. Even with all the outside assistance from sling to websites, it could never take the place of an actual instuctional class setting. Im not sure nucamp is a good fit for me to continue with further courses, but it will not stop me from finding the bootcamp that fits my learning style.   Read less

I was desperate to look for a way out of my previous role as a translator. I didn't feel I was creating any meaningful value for the world. Right before registering for another expensive coding bootcamp, I clicked the google ad of NuCamp by mistake. I feel so lucky that my finger slipped and clicked on the top link on my phone. Right on that day, I enrolled in the NuCamp Full Stack course after reviewing some information on the website. I feel I need to become a competent engineer to be able to contribute to the success of a business. I don't know what path is before me, but I will keep trying my best. There must be a way. it was great, we learned a bunch of stuff about bootstrap and javascript, it's mostly basics, there isn't a ton of depth, but you are paying for structure and the camaraderie of working with others and it can be a challenge. it goes by fast and there is a lot to do. the reason there are so many review is because it is a course requirement at the end other course. dunno if it's mandatory, but it's definitely a box that needs to be checked. if you are anything like me, it will bother you forever to leave a box unchecked Read less

I am a complete newbie to the coding world. I chose NuCamp because they offered bootcamps that needed no prior experience. Their self-paced schedule during the week is also great for having a full time M-F job. I've taken the Python Fundamentals course so far and feel like I learned a good amount of Python basics. I was looking to learn basic front end coding skills to help me in my current role, which involves front end dev project management and QA'ing code changes. I chose Nucamp because it was affordable, and had a mix of live and asynchronus learning. The content is pretty comprehensive, and the instructors are helpful and inspiring. The Discord community is supportive and makes you feel like you belong. I am honestly so surprised at how much I've learned and come to enjoy coding, that I am considering a career pivot. I haven't personally taken advantage of the job hunting course or resources, but the Discord community shares some really awesome advice, job openings, and encouragement.  Read less

I searched and search for a bootcamp I could afford and Nucamp was the best option for me. I've been in it for about two months and I'm really enjoying and proud of the progress I made! I have tried do-at-your-own-pace courses before and have always struggled to stay on track. I really like how Nucamp breaks everything down each week. I wanted a change in career and better pay and I was always interested in learning what goes on behind the scenes in those apps and sites we use daily. Also, salary from what I researched is great for a developer. Nucamp was the most affordable bootcamp where I could learn coding, and the reviews were great! Thats why I enrolled, and so far so good! My Nucamp experience was pleasent and very interactive. As a beginner I was able understand the concepts and apply them on my own when conducting the Challenge Codes. Even though it was online, my instructor was always a message away for any questions. I could tell my classmates and I felt that we could voice our opinions and concerns to each other and to our instructors without a doubt!  Read less

I joined Nucamp because I needed a structure to learn the basics of coding. Compared to other boot camps out there it provided better ROI in a short period of time. I was able to work at my own pace during weekdays and get answers to any questions I have in live workshops on Saturdays. Overall, it helped me a lot. Read less
