I am 24 and working as a line cook right now, and had no idea what this course would teach me. I am paycheck-to-paycheck and I needed to find a career that wasn't too "far-out" for me to obtain. While this bootcamp requires your best attention span and work ethic, it is SO rewarding and worth it to push through. You will be amazed at the things you learn here. It will open up a new part of your brain you didn't know you could utilize. Coding is kind of like a puzzle, and once you figure out how to solve it, there is no greater payoff than that. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for that "big shift" in their life. Now, I can properly construct a portfolio to reach out to local tech companies for a junior position. Then, every step after that is just apart of the bigger plan. One thing after the other. But you have to take that first step. You will be glad you went with NuCamp.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support4.0Instructors5.0 -

I have only taken the Web Fundamentals course thus far, and cannot speak to the front-end or back-end sections. I found the first two weeks of curriculum to be very well put together and scaffold understanding in an effective manner. However, me and my classmates became more frustrated near the end of the course, as the materials were clearly becoming less thorough and often assumed we understood certain concepts that we had not yet learned. The course probably could have been a little bit longer to give more time with Bootstrap and deployment, but ultimately it felt that the curriculum just tapered off - many videos were absent and there were issues with following the code in the video vs written instructions that caused quite a bit of grief for me and my classmates. Our instructor was indeed helpful, but did not have the ability to answer all of our questions or help diagnose issues due to the limited meeting time. Ultimately, this is the type of camp that is great for the self-learner, but I would not recommend it if you are not already fairly comfortable with technology or don't know how to find answers for yourself. Not a good course if you need your hand held, but a good investment so far otherwise.Overall4.0Curriculum3.0Job supportN/AInstructors4.0 -

The instructors are knowledgeable and offer ample office hours, which is a significant help. However, the course requires considerable self-study. Students must actively seek out resources and troubleshoot exercises, a process that is challenging but crucial for deep learning. Overall, I'm glad I participated in this program. I learned a lot, not just about coding, but also about what I need to focus on for further learning and practice.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

I thought it was one of the more comprehensive, flexible, and cost-friendly BootCamp out there. I have no regrets about enrolling as I think the curriculum provided a lot of good foundational knowledge. It's largely self-led as we only meet once a week but that little bit of accountability helps us continue and complete the course.

Details he explains were great. And platform usage is great. We use Discord channel, slack and additional meetup session live platform for weekly workshop. I was not a beginner, but fairly new to python, so beginning from scratch was great and the personal fortpolio project was also great. Ryan expresses the importance of fortpolio which I 100 percent agree, and he introduce some details to build a great portfolio. This course does not includes job assistance however, still there are bunch of things to acheive to enhance one's career building.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

Course is taught at and moves at an intermediate- advanced level. I was a newbie and was completely lost week 1. I was able to catch up by about week 3, with alot of work.
Requires 2 - 4 hrs of study/ night, so be sure you have the time available and can make the commitment. Definitely not a skating course, unless you have several years of programming experience. If you have the time and commitment- good course and will learn a lot!Overall4.0Curriculum3.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

I am looking for a career change and that is what led me to NuCamp. I would say that this was a great experience.
