The Fundamental Web Development class was excellent. I learned a lot about HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. There was a lot of information to take in, and I know I won't remember everything, but the course taught me how to find the information I need. Overall, it was a great experience. It was a great experience that helped me establish a daily routine and provided a good foundation for the Front End Web Development course. I’m also thankful for the encouraging and supportive environment. I highly recommend this course to anyone who would like a good foundation in HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.

I want more structure in learning to code full stack and found Nucamp better compared to other online resources. I am more succesful in completing the course as it has deadlines and practical assignments . I hope to work full time as a back end developer . You are likely to absorb the contents more easily here compared to others but the backend part when it comes to  data visualization and creating REST API was challenging. Was it because I am new to the informations or the course could be improved in that particular area. Not sure. But still good overall experience. I just did the backend not the front end. I was searching online for coding classes. I first looked into community colleges but the in-person class schedule and price didn't work for me, as I am caretaker for my son with special needs. So in looked for online classes and found Nucamp. It was the perfect combination of self-paced, price, fellow student contact and teaching from a skilled instructor. I found nucamp because my adhd coach guided me through looking for bootcamps. I decided that the price for the nucamp courses was the right price for me. Comparable bootcamps from universities were generally at least 5x the price. It was the right decision for me because the structure of a weekly instructor guided review provided the perfect amount of accountabilty without too much pressure. I had tried other courses, but they were either too relaxed or too regimented for me. I plan to work in web development after I graduate, and I feel that this course gave me the necessary tools to do that. Read less

I enrolled in Nucamp, because I want a better job. I really enjoyed the Python course and I learned a lot! There are a lot of people to help you, as well as an AI assistant. Each section has videos and everything is written down, so you can read or watch the video. Because everyone has different learning styles. There is a workshop on Saturdays and you can do your homework and studying at your own pace, any time during the week. Read less

The foundations of most web development are "coding languages," HTML, CSS, and Java Script.  This 4-week couse teaches the former two, some Java, and it offers more: Bootstrap and some NodeJS.  In 4-weeks you will deploy a website, coded by you and have the ability to repeat multiple times.  Learning to code is a skill set, a type of trade, that can be exchanged for financial and monetary gain.

Even if you're not seeking to get hired by a major tech company, you can certainly be more confident in tackling computer issues on other sites and in your personal life.  These skills can lead you to be an entrepreneur on sales sites, like Amazon, Shopify, and the like because you get the foundational aspects of what it takes to code and how to maneuver in and out of a web platform.  Knowedge, is certainly power.  

However, if you choose to be a solopreneur or an employee, you will get the fundamentals that can take you to additional more intermediate and advanced courses.

I chose Nucamp because of the introductory Web Fundamentals that most adults should know how to do.  From here one can choose additional coding and specialties: Front stack with mobile, Full stack with mobile, Cybersecurity, and Backend applications.  

But, if you decide it's not for you, then it was only a one-month investment that's worth your time and money.

In the long run you will need a modern and comprehensive set of tutorials with the latest software, a dedicated set of instructors that will help you, a large community of developers, career services, and students that also guide and help your progress, including other members of your cohort.  All this for an affordable price.  

Equivalent courses cost upwards of $18,000, but why pay more when you can have the same instruction but for a fraction of the cost?

I came into this bootcamp with very little coding knowledge.
I learned alot and it gave me the push I needed to keep following my goals of becoming a web developer.

I decided to enroll in Nucamp after struggling with the very difficult job market in my field of physics. Nucamp was a great experience and I learned a lot. I also benefited from meeting fellow students and made some good connections with them and the instructors. 

You need to approach a bootcamp like this with the understanding that no single source of information is going to provide you with everything you need to know. You will need to suppliment the course work with your own research and practice what you've learned.

After this bootcamp, I hope to land a job as a full stack web developer. They do provide some lessons on job searching, and they offer some apprenticeships with affiliated companies, but there is no job guarantee. Read less

What led me to enroll in Nucamp was that I was self learning web dev and pretty much got a hang of it. However, I really got burned out so I decided to participate in a bootcamp to keep my schedule consistent. I attended Backend and DevOps because I do have the hang of web dev already, so I'm trying to learn more and further my coding knowledge. I enrolled in Nucamp because it had great reviews, it is affordable, and it fulfilled the coding goals I had. It was definitely the right decision for me, as it allowed me to re-take the same courses multiple times because I have a particular way of learning. The instructors were all knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. There was one in particular who stood out the most; his name is David H. 

Mr. H. was a school teacher before he started teaching coding for Nucamp. And let me tell you, he definitely set the standard high for teaching coding. He made the courses interactive. He always had some fun activity up his sleeve to engage his students. He created a very warm and welcoming environment and I would have loved to move on with Mr. H., but I had some pauses in my learning and could not move on to any other classes he taught.
