Nucamp also offers a 4-week introduction bootcamp that covers the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. The online bootcamps include both self-paced and actively mentored study, and there are no more than 15 students per class with a dedicated instructor for each cohort.
Admission is open to all 18-years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.
Students of the longer bootcamps are prepared for entry-level, Junior web developer jobs. Nucamp offers career services and 1:1 career coaching to bootcamp students. Nucamp also offers exclusive access to a nationwide job board tailored to Nucamp graduates.

First of all, if you're looking into a flexible boot camp manageable between your work and family life. This is boot camp is worth it. Python Fundamentals, Data Structures, and Algorithms
I choose Nucamp because I heard great things about the course work and the instructors. They boot camp is very course driven and provides detail knowledge about Python fundmentals. My instructor has been very helpful with guiding me through my lesson and helping me when I need it. Python Fundamentals Data Structures and Algorithms
I had considered enrolling in Nucamp before, but I'm currently a Full Stack Developer already. But was not interested in Frontend development. However, I noticed the curriculum was updated to include Backend, SQL, and DevOps with Python. This is just what I was looking for, so I enrolled. I've just completed the Python Fundamentals Data Structures and Algorithms so far. And all I can say is that thus far it has exceeded my expectations. Bootstrap
So far the bootstrap course has been easy to follow but the quality of the instructor is pretty low. The assignments were not graded on time and the communication was minimal. For $370 a month I expected a better instructor. - The copy/paste learning structure
- The students finds themselves unable to use what was learned to build an application
- The lack of instructor availability on weekdays/weeknights
- Nucamp needs to have an instructor available to answer questions Sunday-Friday for a set period in a zoom call to answer questions.
The Ugly:- The React course is a disaster.
- The videos need to be completely redone.
- The material is covered too quickly for a part-time course.
- At least two five-week periods are needed to actually comprehend the material.
- It takes hours to find videos online to cover the deficiencies in Nucamp's videos.
- Nucamp should abandon ReactNative and spend two units on React.
- ReactNative is not a skill set for a full stack developer - it's an extra bonus.
- Until the React curriculum is completely overhauled, I cannot in good faith recommend this course to any potential students.

Kudos to this Wonderful BootCamp
I had very brief Python exposure in my Computer Science program, our language was Java, but also, this was 7 years ago and I've since grown rusty in programming altogether. I worked for a big multinational tech firm in the last 7 years, but for projects where I felt I needed to improve my programming skills to 'get ahead'. I want to become a 'programming-based tester' if I go back into Testing (Python Selenium), or alternatively build up to Python dev freelance work, or (Data Sci wor...I had very brief Python exposure in my Computer Science program, our language was Java, but also, this was 7 years ago and I've since grown rusty in programming altogether. I want to become a 'programming-based tester' if I go back into Testing (Python Selenium), or alternatively build up to Python dev freelance work, or (Data Sci work) Dashboard Developer. Every direction I'd want to go involves Python, even animation projects in Maya for fun.
NuCamp, *far* exceeded my expectations for my goals.
The cadence of once a week workshops, well-designed work assignments, and encouraging instruction on my day off, really gave me the push and guidance to learn *a LOT* in a short amount of time, but never felt "stuck" for too long. So it was a wonderful experience of legitimate up-skilling. I'm now very comfortable with coding in Python, after a quite intense 5 weeks, and will definitely continue the momentum upwards provided by NuCamp. Thank you!!!
