I recently finished up the Coding Temple Part-Time online 12-week Bootcamp and had an absolutely fantastic experience with it. Right off the bat, major credit has to go to my instructor, Christian, for his stellar job of communicating clearly and plainly for a coding newbie like myself. From day one there was a very fun tone set for our class that took most of the traditional dry/boring-ness of traditional education completely out of the equation. Right off the bat, major credit has to go to my instructor, Christian, for his stellar job of communicating clearly and plainly for a coding newbie like myself. From day one there was a very fun tone set for our class that took most of the traditional dry/boring-ness of traditional education completely out of the equation. Don't let that fool you however, it was a very intense 12 weeks and requires a great deal of dedication, time, discipline, and research on your own time to truly get the most out of this course. It's very much a "you get out what you put in" scenario so if you're taking the plunge I highly suggest going in 100% and not half-assing it. The structure of the course is well thought out and makes logical sense as you built a strong foundation of coding knowledge early on in the classroom and through daily challenges, homework, and projects. If there were ever any students that weren't sure of how something worked or if there was ever any confusion on a topic, Christian was to-notch at figuring out a different approach to explaining it to us to make sure that we all stayed together on the learning journey and that no one was left behind. Overall I will say it was the right choice for me to go with Coding Temple for several personal reasons. Scheduling, timeline, availability of instructors/tutors, budget, and reputation were all very important in my decision to choose this bootcamp over the numerous other ones I looked into. Great job preparation
This bootcamp opened my eyes to how coding works and taught me how to code. I’m from the sales industry so it helped me get a job as a sales engineer. I have an appreciation for coding now which has made me a better salesperson. My goal was to become a software engineer but I make more money now as a sales engineer than I would as a new software engineer. So I’m very happy. All jobs in the tech industry make great money apparently. For whatever reason you’re taking this course, do it.This bootcamp opened my eyes to how coding works and taught me how to code. Ryan and Alex were crazy good instructors for this course. They kept our class environment very relaxed and enjoyable while teaching us some very fast paced and tough stuff. The curriculum, however, is not chill. You will have to work your butt off just to keep up so don't take any of the 10 weeks lightly. There will be long nights and weekends spent studying, maybe some crying, and definitely asking yourself at least once, "why did I do this?" Worth the money
Coding temple is a fast paced bootcamp. The instructors are very knowledgeable. All of the classes are recorded and it’s nice to be able to go back and rewatch them multiple times. Coding Temple filled in all the gaps I had from college and gave me a real portfolio to showcase to employers. The instructors were fantastic and there is an immense and overwhelming amount of support from them and the other faculty. The career services offered after graduation are amazing and far exceed what was provided by my university. Every from resumes to LinkedIn to networking was covered in great detail. After graduation, there are several weekly workshops covering job searching, data structures and algorithms practice, and trainings in new technologies. Coding Temple provided more practical knowledge and education than I got through any other avenue. The only thing that rivals this is working as an intern at a startup. If you are wondering, like I was, about whether or not this would be worth the money, stop wondering. It is worth every penny and without this experience, I wouldn't have landed a job making just under 6 figures as a starting salary just weeks after graduating. Make no mistake, it is very, very, very difficult, stressful, and will consume every moment of you time. It's Great!
This coding bootcamp is awesome. I learned so much throughout, it's an intensive but rewarding bootcamp. It was great learning how to apply the skills I've learned. I really loved the projects we had to complete, as I could use my creativity to add my own flair to them. The 1-1 help was also really great and the instructors were amazing! I would highly recommend Coding Temple!
