When a student is applying to Coding Temple, who will they speak with about tuition payment options?

When a student is in the process of applying to Coding Temple they will have the opportunity to engage with the Admissions team to discuss various aspects of their application, including tuition payment options. The Admissions team serves as the initial point of contact and guide for prospective students, ensuring a smooth and informative journey throughout the application process.

In the context of tuition payment options, the Admissions team plays a pivotal role in assisting students in making informed decisions about how to finance their education. The team is well-versed in the different financial pathways available to students, ranging from upfront payments to various financing plans. They understand that the cost of education is a significant consideration for many applicants and are dedicated to providing personalized guidance tailored to each individual's circumstances.

When a student engages with the Coding Temple Admissions team regarding tuition payment options, they can expect to:

  • Receive Personalized Guidance: The Admissions team takes the time to understand the student's financial situation, goals, and preferences. They then provide recommendations that align with the student's needs, helping them make an informed decision about tuition payment.

What is your advice to incoming students on how to choose the best payment option for them?

We encourage incoming students to explore every option, especially for deferred tuition. There are three bank options for students to choose from and we recommend they apply to all of them. They may be denied financing from one, but not the other. Students can also compare interest rates between banks etc. This gives them a fuller picture of what their finances may be.

Yes, Coding Temple offers a refund policy for all courses, which is backed by our job guarantee. Under the job guarantee, if a graduate has actively participated in the bootcamp, completed all required coursework, and followed the guidance of Coding Temple's career services, but still doesn't obtain a job offer within a specified timeframe, they can request a refund of their tuition fees. Financing Your Coding Temple Tuition

Does Coding Temple have direct relationships with any financing partners?

Yes, Coding Temple has established direct relationships with several financing partners to provide students with various options for financing their education. These partnerships aim to make our programs more accessible to a wider range of individuals who may have financial constraints but are eager to pursue a tech career.

Here's a breakdown of our financing partners:

  • Climb Credit: Coding Temple's partnership with Climb Credit enables students to secure financing options specifically tailored for educational purposes. Students have the option to postpone their tuition payments until after they have completed their Coding Temple program. Climb Credit's deferred tuition plan provides students with the financial flexibility needed to focus on their education without the immediate burden of upfront tuition fees, ensuring accessibility and ease of access to quality coding education.
  • Ascent Funding: Ascent Funding is a valuable partner of Coding Temple, known for its deferred tuition plan. This unique financing option allows students to attend Coding Temple without the need to pay their tuition upfront. Instead, students commit to repaying their tuition costs after they've graduated. This deferred tuition plan is designed to align the cost of education with students' post-graduation financial capabilities, providing them with a flexible and manageable way to invest in their coding education.
  • Stride Funding: Coding Temple's collaboration with Stride Funding focuses on income share agreements (ISAs). Stride Funding offers ISAs that enable students to attend Coding Temple without paying upfront tuition fees. Instead, students commit to repaying a percentage of their income for a specified period after they graduate and secure a tech role. This model minimizes financial risk for students and ensures that Coding Temple's success is tied to the success of its graduates.
  • MiaShare: MiaShare offers flexible financing options that cater to students' needs, including installment plans that can span up to 9 months, all of which come with the advantage of 0% interest rates. MiaShare's financing plans do not require a credit check, making it an accessible and convenient choice for individuals looking to finance their Coding Temple education without concerns about their credit history.

Typically, what kinds of APR rates for a bootcamp tuition loan can Coding Temple students expect?

This fluctuates monthly and is influenced by the Federal rates at the time. Typically, a student can expect a wide range between 6-18%. Variables would be the borrower's credit and loan term.

For students who choose to take out a loan, how long does it typically take to pay back that loan?

That depends on the term of the loan. Loans can be anywhere from 9 months to 72 months. The longer the loan, the lower the monthly payment but the higher the interest rate. With our students averaging a pay increase that far outstrips the cost of taking our programs, most of our students elect to pay their loans off earlier and not incur the interest. There is no prepayment penalty to do so. Students can be at a net positive investment within the first year of graduating by having their salary increase pay for their loans and then some.

How can someone get the best rate from a lender for their bootcamp tuition?

Rates are dependent on the borrower's credit. There are a few things a borrower can do to immediately impact their credit score before applying to give them the best chance possible for the lowest rates. Additionally, setting up automatic payments once your loan kicks in gives you a lower interest rate.

  • Get Confirmation: If your employer agrees to sponsor your tuition, they will provide you with a formal agreement outlining the funding details and expectations.

  • Billing and Payment: Your employer will be directly billed for the agreed-upon tuition amount. Coding Temple's finance team will work with your employer to facilitate payment.
  • Start Your Program: Once the tuition payment is settled, you can start your Coding Temple program. Attend classes, complete assignments, and work towards your coding goals.
