    great educators, great coursemates!

I took the Jan 2023 course in data science in-person, firstly, I really did enjoy the program it was challenging and the set up was intense, but the educators make it so that they are checking in with you and whilst they won't hold your hand they will help point you in the right direction. I learnt a lot in a small amount of time, but the quality of the education, plus the morale boosting of the other students really made this an unforgettable 12 weeks. If you can do the bootcamp in person, please.. do! It really changed things for me. Thanks to the education team for a great structure and rhythm to the course.

    Informative; great content; great facilitator

Hi. Having no prior knowledge in cybersecurity, I found your Cybersecurity course to be extremally informative, having great content and easily digestible in the way it was facilitated.   The instructor (Sachin Kalra) did an amazing job in breaking down the content and providing real-world examples, via case study activities.  With no prior cybersecurity knowledge, I now have a better understanding of how cybersecurity works; how I can protect myself online; and how companies should protect my data.  I recommend this course. Thank you, Dorretha

    Comprehensive, Informative and Interactive

I recently completed an in-person UX Design course at BrainStation, which I found to be a highly informative, engaging, and comprehensive crash course. The classroom atmosphere was excellent, and the instructors encouraged participation and peer review of ideas and assignments.

The experience was invaluable as I aim to advance my career in the tech industry. I highly recommend BrainStation to anyone seeking to improve their skills and expertise in the field.

    BrainStation - Data Analytics Course

I completed the 10-week analytics course. This would be an excellent course for someone that has a grasp on excel and wants to dive into visualization and start learning SQL. The instructors were amazing, and you could tell they have a passion for what they do and want to share their knowledge. Due to timing I was not able to attend any of the Networking events but they do a lot of them.

    Digital marketing

I recently completed Brainstation's digital marketing bootcamp and loved it. The program was 10 weeks long, meeting every Wednesday evening for 3 hours of class. The bootcamp covered a breadth of topics within marketing and culminated with a final project. My favorite part of the bootcamp was that our 2 instructors really took the time to ensure we understood the topics, and even offered specialized guidance and advice when we asked for it. They really took their time to answer all questions and didn't rush the lectures just for the sake of it.

Dont waste your time and money

I recently took a course from Brainstation Institute and was very disappointed with my experience. The material was presented in a disorganized manner and did not effectively cover the topics advertised. I strongly believe that this course not worth $2800. They only reviewed what I had learned from w3schools (a free website). Long story short, I learned up to 10 SQL statement in this class.
When I started my course, the tuition was about $2200 for the course I took (cus they told me that I have received a scholarship). I used an installment plan to afford the fee. Recently, I have received an email and for some reason they noticed that I have to pay $2800 (the original amount fee). I am still paying the fee, and I suffer every time I transfer money to them. Because I am paying money for nothing. They should pay back the money because they literally wasted my time.
I am not asking readers to stop taking course there, but I highly recommend that do your research and find a nice institute to take data-related courses. I recently took a course somewhere else, in Vancouver, for $750 and am so happy with this.

While I appreciate the effort put into the course, I believe there is significant room for improvement.

Overall, I cannot recommend this institute based on my experience with this course.

    Up your data-driven decision-making game

I recently completed the Data Analytics course at Brainstation in Miami, and it was a great introduction to understanding how data is retrieved, examined, and used to make decisions. The instructors were real professionals in the field and were able to add real-world examples to the course content. We covered advanced Excel, SQL, MySQL, and Tableau, and I was able to gain some useful context as to the purposes that all of these tools serve in my organization. As a primarily qualitative UX Researcher, this course gave me a really solid foundation on which I can build my quantitative skillset further. The workload of the course was reasonable for the time frame, and there were plenty of extra opportunities provided to practice the skills covered in class. The final project gave us the opportunity to follow the data analysis process from start to finish and draw conclusions on any topic of our choice. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the course, and I would recommend it to anyone with zero to beginner-level data analytics skills.

    It was eye opening

I've worked with UX Designers for several years before taking this course, and was always in awe of the magic they weave to create delightful experiences. However, in 2020, I started to manage UX Designers for the first time in my career, and found myself severely lacking in the skills and knowledge required to support them and their career growth. This course helped me to understand, and better appreciate their methods. Which, in turn helps me to be a better thought partner with them, better represent them in annual performance reviews, and support them during promotion reviews.

    AMAZING Product Management Course

The Product Management course is carefully thought out teaching you every step from what is a product manager, the product manager's roles, from research all the way to analytics. Not only does this teach the fundamentals of product management but the instructors share tips and tools they use in their own practices to implement. In my class we had people who have not done product at all all the way up to people who have been in product for 2 years and everyone took away something useful.

    Great introduction to UX Design!

I recently completed the UX Design course at BrainStation and had a great experience. The instructors, Veronica and Samantha, were very knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions + lend a helping hand. The eight weeks flew by quickly and I appreciated the interactive elements of the class and how they each focused on a different step in the UX design process.

By the end of the eight weeks, I had brainstormed an idea, done research via interviews, wireframed, and built out a prototype in figma. I think there's room to go a bit deeper into some of the different topics but for an eight week program, there was a lot of valuable and actionable information provided. I'm glad I got to take this course!

Strong and organised learning method for a short course

I took the Data Science course with focus on programming with Python and, from the start I found interesting the way Brainstation had everything well organised even before the course started. There's a lot of information and preparation material available online. The staff and instructors are always very helpful and enthusiastic about our learning process, with easy communication in and out of the classroom.
About the itself, I found it fast-paced for someone who didn't know a line of Python and only basic concepts about Data Science. There's just so much we can go through over 7 or 8 weeks and although there are some things that weren't covered in the classroom and a lot to be done after the course's over, I can say now I know the building blocks of Python and Data Science so I can build up on.
