    Cannot recommend BrainStation enough!

I have completed 10 out of 12 weeks of the web development bootcamp course at the London campus and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. The teaching has been first class with all the content being of high quality and very relevant to the industry. I feel very prepared for applying for roles once I have graduated and I know that the skills that I have gained will stand me in good stead amongst my peers. All the educators and staff on campus are always helpful and friendly and I really felt like there is a close and solid community built amongst our class of students. If you are thinking that development might be a path you want to go down, I would strongly recommend you look into BrainStation -- the best career decision I have ever made!

Absolutely loved this course! It was a great course for someone like me who has zero to no experience in this field. I gained a lot of knowledge about this industry as well as practical experience by working on a project end to end!

    Product Management Masterclass!

I cannot express how good this course was from start to finish. My instructor Guy Walker was able to provide a detailed syllabus but each week and each module shared related experiences which were not only interesting but super helpful when understanding how a product manager needs to conduct themselves and operate. The Synapse learning environment is very user-friendly and intuitive and the support was top-notch. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get into product management!

Overall, I had nothing but positive things to say about my experience. I was away from my studies for a long time but was admitted to the Diploma of Web Development. The study materials were excellent, the faculty members were very helpful, and supportive. They motivated us to find the solution by ourselves by guiding us and not spoon-feeding us. If you are ready to emerge and challenge yourself in web development then BrainStation is the perfect coding school for you. Be ready to work hand and touch the sky!

Great experience but yearning for more

    • Instructors are clear in their lecture delivery
    • Theres are project due weekly thus the program is fast paced and will leave you scrambling and typing code all night
    • If you get stuck, ask the educator for help, they will point you in the right direction
    • You should have an elementary understanding of html, css, sass, javascript, react, nodejs by the end
    • Gives you ideas on what to expect on job interviews but doesnt give you alot of time to practice

The whole experience is great! I really felt like learning all over again, and brought that passion about studying like I was in collage. I did the full time (just 3 months) and felt like I wanted more of it! Takes you a lot of time and work to go by every task they ask you to perform but it is great to get some practice in your code. I learnt a lot during my time as a student, but as freshly graduated now I'm finding it hard to get my first job, as I thought the market would have a lot of opportunities when I graduated, guess I need to give some time and keep learning. Just to be clear, each experience is different, you can finish the bootcamp with a job or maybe spend a few months to find one, but the experience was a lifetime for me.

This bootcamp gave me what I needed to transition to a UX designer role. Even though I was familiar with the design principles, the research and process were all new to me and I was able to produce the necessary projects for my portfolio. We had the most amazing TA's and educators that were available for any questions you had. I was able to make some great friends and connections; it was a supportive environment.

This class gave me a great place to start in my digital marketing career. I now feel more confident in my social media & SEO skills. I loved how engaging my class was, we always chatted throughout the week. My teacher, Ryan Rebello, was amazing. He answered each and every question we had & explained things very clearly using real-world examples. I've already attended a BrainStation Networking event via Zoom, and really enjoyed hearing from successful BrainStation Alumni.

    Data Analytics

Instructor (Varun) for this course was great! - I was hoping this course would be more focused on the theory and best practices but what I realized after taking this course is the only way to learn best practice for SQL was through experience. I think this course could be helpful for SQL beginners who just want to get a bit of exposure into what SQL and Data analytics is. Anyone with existing experience with SQL or as an analyst in a tech company may not find this course valuable.

    UX/UI Design

I attended BrainStation’s UX/UI Design Boot Camp in 2021 and could not be happier with my decision. I was to a certain degree familiar with UX concepts, but never in my life had I actually designed anything.

BrainStation’s knowledgable instructors did a great job at teaching all the necessary tools (especially Figma) to become a successful UX Designer. Besides that they were always open for questions and remained a great source of support even after the Boot Camp ended.

After graduation I worked for several months as a freelancer (which was challenging) before a former BrainStation classmate sent me my dream job description. Two months and several rounds of interviewing later I can say that I found my dream Design job and that BrainStation played a vital role in my path to get there!

Efficient way to become a developer

The web development Bootcamp program in BrainStation is a great option for people who needs to learn programming in a fairly short amount of time. Instructors, teaching assistants, and other staff are pretty responsive and willing to help.

Even though the Bootcamp is intended for people with no coding experience, I would highly suggest anyone who is considering signing up do some self-study first to make the process in the Bootcamp easier.

As the Bootcamp covers both front-end and back-end in only 12 weeks, the back-end parts are only at the surface, just enough for students to make a full-stack application. Much more diving deep is needed compared with the front-end sections.
