Nucamp bootcamps offer excellent and affordable training for entry-level jobs in tech. They provide the flexibility of 100% online, part-time, self-scheduled study with the accountability and support of active mentoring and live, online workshops. Bootcamps include Cybersecurity (15 weeks), Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks), Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks), Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks), Solo AI Tech Entrepreneur (30 weeks), as well as AI Essentials for Work (15 weeks), an intro to Web Development Fundamentals (4 weeks of HTML, CSS, & Bootstrap), and a Job Hunting Bootcamp (4 weeks for anyone, educated or self-trained, looking for hands-on help with finding their next job).
Students of Nucamp's longer bootcamps are prepared for junior, entry-level jobs. In addition, several bootcamps prepare students to take industry-recognized certification exams from JSE, Python Institute PCEP, and CompTIA, etc. Nucamp offers career services to its graduates, including 1:1 career coaching and exclusive access to Nucamp’s curated, nationwide job board. Graduates enjoy lifetime access to their curriculum, including updates, and to Nucamp's online learning community for continued networking and career support.
Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. See their website for scholarship opportunities. New bootcamps start every 5 weeks with a dedicated instructor guiding small cohorts of typically no more than 20 students. Admission is open to all 18 years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

I think this bootcamp and probably all others all ultimately come down to the learner and how far they want to take things. This is a self-driven learning experience, essentially, with NuCamp (and from my understanding, so is most, if not all of programming). What you put in is what you're going to get out. Overall, I think the flexibility and the affordability of this program are the best parts of it. Not to mention, the in-workshop instructor was very adept. At the very least, NuCamp will project you into the right direction to be able to continue and to master your learning. Happy Learning! XDOverall4.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors4.0 -

Most in-person bootcamps covering similar material are far more expensive. You should have a solid foundation of HTML/CSS/JS before getting into this, especially once you get to React. The instructors were as knowledgable and helpful as they could be, being remote. Most of the exercises during the week "spoon-feed" you code with a video explanation. I would have liked to see a lot more challenges where you had to accomplish something in order to move on. The weekend workshops and group projects are the only portion that you really have to figure things out on your own and get things working (aka, the real world).
All that said, though, you can't do better for the price.Overall3.0Curriculum3.0Job supportN/AInstructors4.0 -

I loved that they offered it here in Sac and the courses could be completed outside of work and were not too time-intensive. The course material was great, it covered aspects of Javascript I did not already know and probably would not have picked up on my own.
