Nucamp bootcamps offer excellent and affordable training for entry-level jobs in tech. They provide the flexibility of 100% online, part-time, self-scheduled study with the accountability and support of active mentoring and live, online workshops. Bootcamps include Cybersecurity (15 weeks), Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks), Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks), Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks), Solo AI Tech Entrepreneur (30 weeks), as well as AI Essentials for Work (15 weeks), an intro to Web Development Fundamentals (4 weeks of HTML, CSS, & Bootstrap), and a Job Hunting Bootcamp (4 weeks for anyone, educated or self-trained, looking for hands-on help with finding their next job).
Students of Nucamp's longer bootcamps are prepared for junior, entry-level jobs. In addition, several bootcamps prepare students to take industry-recognized certification exams from JSE, Python Institute PCEP, and CompTIA, etc. Nucamp offers career services to its graduates, including 1:1 career coaching and exclusive access to Nucamp’s curated, nationwide job board. Graduates enjoy lifetime access to their curriculum, including updates, and to Nucamp's online learning community for continued networking and career support.
Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. See their website for scholarship opportunities. New bootcamps start every 5 weeks with a dedicated instructor guiding small cohorts of typically no more than 20 students. Admission is open to all 18 years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

I also chose it, so I can sit in class, but alas Covid-19 decided to be a homewrecker and mess up 2020. I compared your company to Savvy Coders in Chattanooga. They were too much and too fast.
They claim you can learn full stack in 12 weeks. I don't see how that is practical in the real world where we as adults got a ton of things to do! They have fewer programs too. Such as, HTML5, Basic Markdown, Agile, CSS3, JavaScript, Interacting with the DOM, Firebase, Node/ Node Express, Mongo DB, Git&Github,UX/UI, and Heroku. Like I said I am a skeptic to learn all of that in 12 weeks. How about people who are slow learners or slow readers?
There are so many questions about them. Like yes, they have a scholarship but the catch is you don't have to pay them back until you are hired. Well, what if you can't find a job? Covid-19 has created thousands of jobs being loss. I don't want to owe money when I can't even make money.
What if you want to start freelancing? It takes time to build clientele. I've talked to them and I didn't like what they offered. They just started their full stack recently. I don't think new programs are ideal because they are still figuring all the bugs and protocols. FYI, I am not bashing Savvy Coders. It's just not for me. Maybe if you don't have the time twelve weeks is right for you.
So, that is my reason. Your company is willing to work with Veterans such as myself. In short, Affordable, friendly, longer time to digest the material, veteran friendly, and awesome instructors!
The only thing I wish nu camp taught was ruby rails, MySQL, WordPress, Heroku, and PHP.Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

Overall it was a great fast paced boot camp, I learned a lot. The only criticisms I have is the workshop should not be mandatory to be on camera for the entire 4 hours. We should have the option to do the work, submit it and be done with it.Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job support4.0Instructors4.0 -

Price point - exactly where it should be. Nobody can beat the quality of training at this price point. Huge online support from fellow users/trainers. Course content structure is great. Wish they offered other backend framework courses similarly .:)Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

Nucamp provided just the right cost and quality to help make a definitive decision regarding my future career goals. I very much liked the staff and the set your pace environment and the Saturday workshops. My classmates were also very helpful. I do wish we had more repetitive challenges that had students engaging more. But aside from that I am very grateful to Nucamp, the staff, my classmates, and what I have gotten out of the program!!!Overall5.0Curriculum3.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

This experience gave me a great opportunity in getting my feet wet with the fundamentals of HTML CSS and JavaScript. I'm an extreme novice to coding before the course, and now see that i am capable of continuing on to make this my profession. The slack channel for Nucamp has been invaluable. And I know I can talk to my instructor during the week with questions that I'm struggling with. Everything's been great so far!Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors4.0 -

Nucamp stood out to me at first because of the affordable price compared to other programs. Other programs made it clear that you would have little to no room for life beyond class, assignments, and practice. Nucamp gave me the impression that it was geared toward people that could not give up their jobs to learn something new. I was unsure of the purely online structure with a single day to have face to face learning with the instructor and other students. I really enjoyed the format and decided to take the full stack course after the intro course. I don't know if the full stack will lead to nailing a job when I complete the course, but I will be better off than I was when I started. This was the right move for me to start a new career, and I feel confident I made the right choice.Overall4.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0
