Nucamp bootcamps offer excellent and affordable training for entry-level jobs in tech. They provide the flexibility of 100% online, part-time, self-scheduled study with the accountability and support of active mentoring and live, online workshops. Bootcamps include Cybersecurity (15 weeks), Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks), Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks), Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks), Solo AI Tech Entrepreneur (30 weeks), as well as AI Essentials for Work (15 weeks), an intro to Web Development Fundamentals (4 weeks of HTML, CSS, & Bootstrap), and a Job Hunting Bootcamp (4 weeks for anyone, educated or self-trained, looking for hands-on help with finding their next job).
Students of Nucamp's longer bootcamps are prepared for junior, entry-level jobs. In addition, several bootcamps prepare students to take industry-recognized certification exams from JSE, Python Institute PCEP, and CompTIA, etc. Nucamp offers career services to its graduates, including 1:1 career coaching and exclusive access to Nucamp’s curated, nationwide job board. Graduates enjoy lifetime access to their curriculum, including updates, and to Nucamp's online learning community for continued networking and career support.
Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. See their website for scholarship opportunities. New bootcamps start every 5 weeks with a dedicated instructor guiding small cohorts of typically no more than 20 students. Admission is open to all 18 years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

For some reason I agreed to enroll and it turned out to be a great experience! Especially the hybrid system which allows you to meet and interact with your fellow students and instructor virtually. I like how the instructor checked up on us in the break up groups to see how we're doing with the weekly assignment and I also like the addition of more reference materials at the end of each lesson for further research.Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

In a short-four-week to study HTML/CSS/JavaScript, I can only say it was intense. One has to absolutely commit his/her time to study, research, and practice (and more practice!). Whether the materials are relevant, practical enough to prepare for the necessary skills to apply in the real world, only time can tell.
I like the Nucamp for it allows a platform (we use Slack and Zoom) where i can communicate with other fellow students, share information or ask the instructor for help at any moment and get help quickly. The instructor was quite attentive to the students' progress. These were my major concerns prior to joining Nucamp at first but I was at ease after getting familiar with the system.
One thing Nucamp could revamp is its user-experience-presented-materials. I think it's all over the place, unattractive. Folders, subfolders, side navigation is confused if one has a smaller monitor where parts are cutoff/unseen on the top/bottom or on the left/right. It took me a while to get familiarized with it!Overall4.0Curriculum3.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

I did learn alot on my own but I still think there should be some room of improvement for the company overall . IOverall3.0Curriculum3.0Job supportN/AInstructors3.0 -

The start was great (i.e., the fundamentals). However, it quickly fell apart after that. Inconsistencies in the quality of instructors were apparent (different levels, some very inexperienced). This is a very heavy load for a begginer, full of video tutorials. Javascript is not emphasized enough. The program does not allow time for personal projects even though it is encouraged all throughout; simple no time! Once in the program, you can upgrade but not allowed to downgrade if you're already over 50% of the course load. I signed up for Fullstack but after the Frontend I was done. I could not stop and get refund for the Backend component which I had no interest in after going through the Frontend.
PROS: it is still one of the more affordable online bootcamps. Gives you good exposure to many technologies. Great live interactions with classmates and your instructor on Saturday morning workshops.Overall3.0Curriculum4.0Job support3.0Instructors3.0 -

A friend recommended Nucamp and I'm glad that I took the course! I had some previous experience with coding in C++ so I was previously exposed to most of the ideas. With this previous exposure this was a great way to quickly learn python!Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -
