Nucamp bootcamps offer excellent and affordable training for entry-level jobs in tech. They provide the flexibility of 100% online, part-time, self-scheduled study with the accountability and support of active mentoring and live, online workshops. Bootcamps include Cybersecurity (15 weeks), Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks), Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks), Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks), Solo AI Tech Entrepreneur (30 weeks), as well as AI Essentials for Work (15 weeks), an intro to Web Development Fundamentals (4 weeks of HTML, CSS, & Bootstrap), and a Job Hunting Bootcamp (4 weeks for anyone, educated or self-trained, looking for hands-on help with finding their next job).
Students of Nucamp's longer bootcamps are prepared for junior, entry-level jobs. In addition, several bootcamps prepare students to take industry-recognized certification exams from JSE, Python Institute PCEP, and CompTIA, etc. Nucamp offers career services to its graduates, including 1:1 career coaching and exclusive access to Nucamp’s curated, nationwide job board. Graduates enjoy lifetime access to their curriculum, including updates, and to Nucamp's online learning community for continued networking and career support.
Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. See their website for scholarship opportunities. New bootcamps start every 5 weeks with a dedicated instructor guiding small cohorts of typically no more than 20 students. Admission is open to all 18 years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

The price is great in comparison to their competitors as well. While Covid-19 has thrown a lot of in-person meetup plans out of sync, NuCamp did a great job mitigating this crisis. Slack is an amazing resource and so is NuCamp's careful use of Zoom. I appreciated their protection of our safety even though we'd all prefer to meet in person. NuCamp and the NuCamp instructors were a great resource. The absolute key in studying code is finding others to struggle with in this learning process. Yes, there are lots of documentation sites out there, but people simply learn best when they struggle together. For this reason alone, I'd say NuCamp is worth it. If you're unsure if you're cut out for coding. Their affordable 4 week intro camp is a great litmus test. It's also low cost, so you wouldn't lose much deciding to walk away. Regardless, you're gonna learn some useful stuff in this camp. Well worth your money.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

With this so far we got a great understanding of Front-End and will be attending to get to the next segment. It is worth every penny. So far, it seems like a wise decision. I feel like a $1700 investment will result in a huge career boost by the end of the course.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

I'm exploring making a switch in my late 40's from accounting to programming. As a student with almost no programming experience, I found the camp to be a great introduction that was certainly challenging. The format being online during the week with a 4 hour Saturday in person class worked very well for me. During the week I could learn content at my own pace with plenty of resources available if I needed help - Slack channel, instructor available. Todd Sparrow was our instructor for this class in Knoxville. He has a passion for programming - especially teaching others. He was fantastic working with a wide range of ability levels in our class. I had difficulties in some projects. He patiently worked with me to help me discover issues in my coding - not giving me answers but making suggestions of tools (console log, debugger, targeted test code, etc) where I might be able to self-discover answers. Other students were clearly much quicker in completing projects. Todd was able to quickly suggest additional challenges for them to try to build into their projects. One of these was to add a option to have the computer play the color guessing game instead of just the user. My son and I took this class and look forward to completing one of the advanced bootcamps. We hope there are enough students for the next session as the online/in-person bootcamp is a must for us.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

Unlike other bootcamps, Nucamp teaches exactly what you need to know at the level you are. They don't overwhelm you with too much material. I am a beginner and what I got from the course made a strong foundation for me. I found my way now. The instructors we had, Raj and Matt, were wonderful. They helped us greatly through the end of the course. Always available and easy to reach whenever we had a question. Glad I did not fall for any other bootcamp and chose Nucamp. I'll see in the next course guys! :)Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -
