I wanted to take a glimpse of how the coding world looked like, while still having my full-time job. The web development fundamentals course did exactly that. I got to see an understand on how the website is brought to life. Overall, the 4 week HTML, CSS and JavaScript boot camp is excellent as an introduction. I learnt a lot and got to make several projects. It is worth the money for sure. I recently completed a 4-week HTML, CSS, JavaScript course and I must say, it was a great learning experience. The course was delivered online, but what made it stand out was the fact that it was part of a cohort and included live classes on the weekends. This added a new dimension to the online learning experience and made it much better.

The course covered all the essentials of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and was taught by experienced instructors who were always available to answer any questions and provide additional support. The material was well-organized and easy to understand, and the assignments and projects provided hands-on experience with the concepts learned in the lessons.

One of the best things about the course was the opportunity to learn and collaborate with a group of peers. The live classes on the weekends allowed us to interact with each other and with the instructors, which helped us build a sense of community and stay motivated. The discussions and group projects were also very helpful in reinforcing the material and providing a deeper understanding of the technologies.

Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After looking at a few options, I decided to go with Nucamp.  For me the choice came down to bang for the buck.  Nucamp is very affordable and I felt offered similar learning opportunities as other programs that were significantly more expensive.

Having now completed the Front End bootcamp, I would say that I'm pleased with my decision.  Nucamp provides a challenging curriculum with knowledgeable instructors that work within their field.  The instructors not only go over the material but also try to infuse real-world insights into the instruction.

After completing the final course of the Full Stack bootcamp, I look forward to applying my skills in either web or app development for a growing company as well as continuing on with some personal projects that I have in mind. Read less

I was looking for a career change after spending 10 years in a dead-end job. The previous year, I had started tinkering with JavaScript as a possible avenue to pursue, but the Udemy course I had purchased didn't have the structure, deadlines, or human interaction I felt I needed.
I spent about a week researching different bootcamp options. I didn't know enough about my prospects as a coder to justify spending tens of thousands of dollars on classes; I needed something that would be affordable, flexible, and fast. If I didn't like coding after 5 months, then I'd know to explore other options.
I am four months in, about to graduate from the Front-End Development track, with the last Full-Stack course starting in a week, and I could not be happier with my decision to enroll in Nucamp. The instructors have all been incredibly personable and knowledgeable. The staff has been helpful and quick to respond to questions. And the students are people like me looking to learn and work together.
Full disclosure; this course is NOT for the faint of heart. I have been busy. Every week feels like a finals week. It's a lot of knowledge that is well structured, explained, and demonstrated through the use of videos, documentation, and once-a-week virtual meet-ups, but it’s a lot of knowledge regardless. You need to be in a place where you’re willing to learn and put in the work if you want to get the most out of your Nucamp experience. I am amazed at how far I’ve come in such a short time under the guidance of Nucamp’s Full-Stack course, and I can’t wait to start putting their included job-hunting course to work for me!

I enrolled in Nucamp ,because I wanted to explore a new industry that I might want to transition too. I am glad I chose Nucamp because of its low cost and the instructors were great. I am still unsure if this is a skill I can use in a real work setting yet. So the low cost really helps in that area. I signed up for NuCamp because of the price mainly. At less than $3000, it seemed like an opportunity I had to take over the typical $13,000 bootcamps. The website looked legit and really well-made, but I had my apprehensions. 
However, the lessons are great and the instructors are even better. It's perfect for people who are working and trying to learn coding in their spare time, because the flipped-classroom model allows for self-paced learning. The lessons are very well though-out and include excellent exercises and additional resources. 
I'm very happy with my choice. NuCamp is an incredible value, and by the end of it I'm certain I'll be able to find a good-paying job in tech.  Read less

My name is Dipendra KC. I came to United States in 2019. Since then, I was looking for IT certificate from long time but could not fix what course to take and when to take. Then one day, I saw an advertisement of Nucamp in google search. I had several options from where I select Nucamp. I don't feel any regret taking this course because after taking Python bootcamp for almost a month, I feel confident in Python. I was not sure how it would be and how they will teach. But after joining the Nucamp Bootcamp, it clear my every doubt. The course design of Nucamp; every week, new topics, sufficient exercise, quiz and code challenge makes more interesting and effective. Our Python tutor Ryan seems to have sufficient knowledge in Python. He is very helpful, not only during the week days but also during holidays, easy to teach and we could get feedback instantly. In addition to this, I like the way class get divided into small group so that we can interact with each other, teach and learn. I found every fellow friend to be friendly and helpful. I initially enrolled into a Nucamp after watching a YouTube video of students reviewing their experience. I ended up watching an interview done with the creator of NuCamp and really liked his responses, so I decided to look into the course curriculum as well as pricing. The pricing really sold me since this course involved LIVE sessions each week and a coding project submitted to eventually display to employers. So far the instructor Ryan has taught us Python and this is the furthest I have gotten with coding honestly. He was really helpful in explaining what type of roles we may qualify for upon completion and how to display work to potential employers. I am trying to shift my career from IT support into Data Analysis or Data Science role upon completion of this course.  Read less

I enrolled in Nucamp after seeing someone I know go from minimum wage to making a starting salary of $70k after taking the fullstack course. I think it was the right decision and I learned some fundamentals that would have been difficult to research on my own. Now I feel equipped to continue learning and diving deeper into building my own projects. I think I still need some supplemental learning before I start working in the field, but this was a solid start and I'm much closer to having the life I want than I was six months ago.  Read less

  What brought me to Nucamp was the flexibility and the affordability. Any question from the time I hadn't signed up yet till now, (4 weeks in) has been answered in a timely manner and everyone who pointed me in the right direction was professional and respectful.  The reason why I would recommend this school to anyone is because the instructors make the lectures and assignments clear to understand and following along is actually do-able within the week. I appreciate how well thought out this program is. I know I made the right decision joining Nucamp. I signed up for the full stack 11 month program and I plan to stay the course after seeing how the first month turned out.

  The lessons were videos, there were plenty of recourses provided pointing students in the right direction to answer the challenge questions provided. Which was fun because I was learning tons while researching and not going into rabbit holes! Another thing I was happy about  and made my learning fun was the powerpoint slides that really helped a lot to use as quick references.  A new experience for me was using codepen and at first I didn't understand it but after using it and forking the challenges in there. I had a lot of fun and see it's worth using it.  Also, the solutions on some of the more complex challenge questions were helpful because I didn't feel stuck for long. 
  
  I appreciate my instructor keeping in touch throughout the week and checking in on us for questions. He was very helpful in the Saturday meetings because he broke things down to where I could understand it and see it. What I thought was really cool was that when anyone would ask a question, he was patient in answering and didn't judge or make student feel silly for asking. He had clear powerpoint presentations and also gave clear directions of what should be expected. I think the program is amazing because it allows the instructor to give feedback on our assignments we submit and I feel like that's really important so I learn from my mistakes and grow from them. Something else that was cool was that once we submit our assignments, we can learn from other student's code. That is really cool and motivating to code and learn. 
    
  Other pros are that I applied through ascent which made my student loan experience easy. I applied for a scholarship and Nucamp also offers bonus discounts which I find wonderful. Key words, The lessons were all in a good sequence and not scattered. The videos were short and easy to code along with.  

 I have very little coding background and I learned so much in this month alone. I am looking forward to the rest of the year and learn as much as I can and to code as much as possible with what I have learned and will be learning.   For how well  structured this program is, the CEO and the instructors really care about the students moving forward in the coding world.  Thank you Nucamp for having such a great program!

I found Nucamp just browsing thru a Google search, looking for someway to learn how become a Software Engineer or Web Developer.
