Great Learning is an amazing course for anyone looking to learn new skills and gain knowledge for a career in data science. The video lectures, case studies, and projects were pretty much flawless. Concepts were explained carefully and excellently. Projects gave you an opportunity to demonstrate what you've learned at the end of each module and were added to a digital portfolio for your benefit. I’m currently in the middle of the No Code AI and Machine Learning program from MIT Professional Education, and so far it’s been a really solid experience. The way the course is structured makes it easy to follow, even if you don’t have a technical background. It feels like the concepts are introduced at just the right pace, not too fast, not too slow.

One thing that’s made a big difference for me is the support from the academic advisor. They check in regularly and are quick to respond if I have any questions, which makes it feel like I’m not just on my own trying to figure things out.

Still a bit to go before I finish, but I’m learning a lot and actually enjoying it, which I wasn’t sure I would with a topic like AI. Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in the end. Read less

It was indeed a great learning experience for me. The self-paced courses and live online sessions nicely complemented each other and helped in understanding technical concepts and their practical applications. The instructors are professors from prestigious universities in the US who are great at explaining complex ideas, while instructors during the live, hands-on sessions are very knowledgeable and patient with answering queries. The education support staff are also very helpful and very considerate and help students stay on track. While a Data Science course can be challenging, the program emphasizes their amazing and fascinating practical applications that help you stay motivated.  Read less

This was a fantastic program! The quality of materials and lectures was very high. It was neat to have materials from such renowned experts in their field. Additionally, I enjoyed the real- world applications provided by the course, from the lectures to the reading materials provided. This made the information easier to understand and more useful to apply in my professional life. I recently completed the Post Graduate program in AI and ML from University of Austin which was incredibly insightful and engaging. PG in AIML is a well structured program delivered through an excellent learning tool Olympus from Great Learning. Program takes you from basics of python, all the way up to  Deep Learning modals , Computer Vision , Decision Tree, Natural language processing. Program is well assembled in terms of time, breaks , weekly quiz and projects. Program allows good flexibility to learn at your on own pace but still ensure you with guard rails that you do not completely wonder off. Each module has a online mentored learning session to clarify your questions on the topics . The instructors are from real industry background and very knowledgeable.

Areas for Improvement

• Steep Learning Curve: The program is intensive and requires a significant time commitment. The combination of coursework, assignments, and project deadlines can be overwhelming—especially for working professionals. A better distribution of workload across weeks would make the learning experience more manageable.
• Project Deadlines vs. Work Commitments: Many learners, including myself, found it difficult to balance project deadlines with work and personal commitments. Extending project timelines or integrating buffer periods could help.
• Mentor Quality: While mentorship sessions were valuable, the quality of mentors varied. Some were exceptionally good, while others lacked depth and clarity in their explanations. A more consistent selection of industry-experienced mentors would enhance the experience.
• Dr. Kumar Muthuraman's Lectures: While the course had many great instructors, Dr. Kumar Muthuraman’s teaching style was difficult to follow. His lectures were not as engaging, making it challenging to grasp certain topics.
