I am a Physician Assistant based in Ghana, and I took the Great Learning / Johns Hopkins AI in Healthcare course while I plan on running my own project bringing AI literacy and STEM training to youth in my region. I recently completed my Post Graduate Program in AI/ML for Business Applications and Gen AI for Business Application with University of Austin Texas McCombs in partnership with Great Learning Platform. It was a great experience overall on several fronts. The platform provided well curated context that was easy to learn and follow with several AI assisted learning features. The presentation of content was very structured and easy to navigate and complete in the required timeframe. The quality of the content aligned very well with the theory and conceptual knowledge necessary to implement the practical end of module projects. The Great Learning administrative team was always approachable and responded quickly to inquiries and worked with each individual student on their specific needs.

Coming from prior enterprise experience leading the deployment of practical machine learning models in production, I had high expectations around learning through practical use cases and the program met those expectations. The weekend mentoring sessions led by current industry practitioners facilitated engaging discussions among the cohort members that enhanced the learning further by providing latest industry perspectives. I would recommend the program to anyone interested in upskilling themselves with the latest advancements in AI in a structured but fast track manner that enables learning by doing.

I went back to study with the MIT Applied AI Data Science Program (MIT AAIDSP)  after 10yrs of trade. I had an intense but fulfilling time throughout the program. It was the appropriate one for me to improve my knowledge of statistical analysis, getting on-hand python training and a strong experience of the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence. The application of every course in a real-world business problem makes this course an professional experience on its own. 

For those who want to understand the basics around Artificial Intelligence, I highly recommend this course.

I recently completed the MIT Applied AI and Data Science Program organized by Great Learning, and it was an excellent learning experience. The curriculum is well structured, covering Python, Data science, machine learning, deep learning, and Agentic AI through a combination of self-paced modules and live mentor sessions. The hands-on assignments and practical labs helped reinforce the concepts effectively. 
The AI Hackathon was a great opportunity to collaborate with peers and solve real-world problems in a competitive setting. The Capstone Project allowed me to apply the full machine learning and Agentic AI lifecycle to a business use case, significantly strengthening my practical skills. 
The mentors and Great Learning support team were knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. Although the program requires consistent effort, it is manageable for working professionals. Overall, I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to build practical expertise in AI and data science while earning a credential from MIT Professional Education. Read less

I had a very positive experience with the MIT Applied AI and Data Science Program. The program was well-structured, combining theoretical concepts with practical case studies that helped me understand how the material could be applied to real-world problems.

The professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and very patient when explaining complex topics. The program covered a substantial amount of content, so it was sometimes challenging to keep up. However, the learning platform made it easy to revisit lessons, recordings, and case studies whenever I needed additional review.

When I started the program, I had very limited knowledge of how to manage large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and use data to support decision-making. By the end, I had gained exposure to a wide range of analytical and machine-learning models, as well as a better understanding of which approaches are most appropriate for different business contexts and data types.

My next step will be to deepen my knowledge of the models that are most relevant to my professional goals. Nevertheless, the program provided me with a strong foundation and a clear understanding of how these models work, why they are useful, and how they can be applied.

Overall, I highly recommend the program to professionals from any industry. The tools, models, and analytical frameworks covered throughout the course can be adapted to many different sectors and business challenges. Read less

Balancing the program with a full-time career in consulting required commitment, but the experience significantly increased my confidence in working with AI and data science. The Great Learning (Online) – Certificate Program in Applied Generative AI by Johns Hopkins University was an outstanding learning experience. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed. I am extremely happy with the Applied Generative AI course offered by Johns Hopkins University through the Great Learning platform.
