Founded in Portugal in 2015, Code for All_ is a social impact startup that offers 14-week intensive and immersive Full Stack Programming Bootcamps. Students are guided through the course by a team of instructors who are graduates of the bootcamp. Code for All_ describes their teaching methods as "peculiar" and aimed at training students to write clean code.
Code for All_'s immersive programming bootcamps welcome beginners of all ages (over 18) and backgrounds (degree not needed) as long as they are willing to fully and passionately commit to becoming professional junior software developers within a short period of time. To apply to the bootcamps, prospective students must complete an online computer science 101 course, submit an online form, complete an online JavaScript tutorial, excel in a JavaScript code challenge, and attend online a workshop day that will be similar to the student experience during the bootcamp.
At each campus, different financing/sponsorship solutions are available to help candidates finance the bootcamp. Terms and conditions are listed on the Code for All_ website.
Code for All_ was formerly known as <Academia de Código_>.
The best decision I took in last years! Awesome support!
If you're looking for a regular 9 to 5 coding bootcamp this isn't for you... At <Academia de Código_> you will begin your day at 9am and finish Linus Torvalds knows when, so you better have the "I'm gonna be late" message on deck. If you're like Jon Snow and you don't know nothing about coding, worry not! You can go from Jon Snow to Azor Ahai in just 14 weeks. The only bad part is that I can only rate <Academia de Código_> 5 stars...
<Academia de Código_> 14 weeks bootcamp was for sure the best decision I ever made. The culture is so unique and I made so many friendships and learned so much with this whole experience. Now I've a lot to thank to this wonderful team. Keep making such a positive impact on people's lives.
If you're thinking to learn code and change your life choose <Academia de Código_> !!!
I was stuck in a dead-end job and starting to lose sight of my future. I had heard about <Academia de Código_> back in 2015, and finallly decided to apply in 2018.
Was it hard? Harder. It was the hardest thing I've done in my life.
However, it paid out. I've made new friends, I've gained a family, but most importantly I've learned how to learn. I'm so thankful to our Master Coders in FUNdão, they are truly the best. Before, I had never even seen a single line of code...

Thank you for giving me this opportunity, it literally changed my life.
I attended last year and it literally changed my life!
I got a job as a back-end developer on a great company as soon as I finished the Bootcamp! The teachers worked very hard, even after hours, to make sure no one gets behind. I recommend this Bootcamp to everyone who wants to learn how to code.
Thanks

<Academia de Código_> changed my life, it was the best experience I had in my life and totally reseted my life for a brand new and better one.
Even if you dont have money at the moment you can go to Fundão and pay later when you have the job.
The MC's are amazing and the environment is cool, you wont have any problems, besides drinking a lot of coffee hehehe, yeah its intensive but you will have the reward in the end, a pretty good damn reward.

That was a pretty important thing for me, since I was "lost" in my previous life.
so yeah hold your balls for 3 months and in the end you will be a happy programmer :)
It was a fantastic experience. From the bootcamp application to job enrolment, I felt accompanied through the entire process.
The instructors were helpful, very knowledgeable and amazingly patient. The bootcamp has an awesome teaching philosophy that leaves you prepared for the job market, you might not leave knowing everything (ha!) but you'll come out prepared with the knowledge to learn how to face any ordeal. It promises to turn you into a software developer and it delivers.<...

I don't regret it for a second, changed my life. Highly recommended!
I heavily recommend this enriching experience. It's 14 weeks of pure dedication, but it's well worth it! :)
When I signup for this bootcamp I already had 2 years of professional experience as a web developer and during the 14 weeks I still learned something new everyday to improve my skills, technical and social.
The whole experience was fantastic. I recommend it for everyone who is passionate or curious for programming.
I will never forget the family that changed my life.
I am eternally grateful to this School. They taught me to code, but they also taught me to learn.
Applying for this bootcamp was the best decision I ever made and my life has improved so much from this.
I went from being a cashier at a gas station with no prospect and no plans for the future to being employed at an awesome IT company.

The bootcamp lasts for 14 weeks, but it feels so much more. It's so intense that you learn so much from the beginning of computer science untill coding practices in the real world. When i finished the course i was ready to start working, and i actually got my job 2 weeks before finishing the bootcamp!
During these 14 weeks you know amazing people, and you feel apart of a big family.
I think everyone should do this bootcamp!
