As a creative person who wanted to find stability in a freelance landscape, I developed my algorithm to attract all of the bootcamps, courses, and degrees it could push me. TripleTen stood out as it highlighted a MGB, or money-back guarantee. Not only did they appear confident in their job placement, but students were offered a Learning Coach that would be there for you along the way. That was particularly enticing as online learning can feel lonely and moral can quickly fade. The post that had found me also said I could speak to someone on the phone, so I booked a call and the person on the phone answered my questions and concerns. It was reassuring to talk to a real person about a commitment that would essentially change the trajectory of my life as a self-taught graphic designer who had intermittent clients and a part-time job.
I wasn’t even quite sure what UX/UI was until I started the program, but the way the course was written out was approachable in tone and patient with me. It was certainly overwhelming at times, but instead of quitting like in programs of the past, I had support and was encouraged to use as many tools as needed. For example, Speechify was a huge help as I learned that combining visual and audio was essential (and possibly a reason I struggled in school). Not only did TripleTen teach the hard skills of the industry, but they simultaneously taught integral soft skills that helped me work through a lot so I could be prepared to work in a more structured and disciplined environment. This personal change started to mirror my understanding of a once nebulous subject and framed it in a way that made everything eventually click. Every sprint felt productive and purposeful as each project was building your own portfolio, so I felt compelled to finish — even if I had to max out my extensions.
TripleTen was incredibly understandable when life was unpredictable, and this absence of any judgement or punishment allowed for real growth rather than that feeling of studying for an exam just to pass the class. I took advantage of the chat feature on my dashboard if I ever had questions during my studies, as well as texting my Learning Coach and connecting with the TripleTen community. Knowing that I had multiple avenues for help made any lesson feel possible to figure out.
Were there projects I was happy to get through by the second try? Of course, but it always felt rewarding to know that my work reflected TripleTen’s standards. I didn’t want to pass just for the sake of passing. Our work speaks for ourselves in the real world.
Though I felt I could have been contacted more regarding alumni support, I was able to still participate in the community and ask for feedback when I got anxious applying to jobs that required Bachelor degrees (I have an Associate of Science degree). Eventually, I was able to secure my current position as UX/UI Designer by utilizing my work experience up until that point to make the case on why our company needed product development. Since I did not find my position through TripleTen, I can’t necessarily comment on their new job search platform, but I am now qualified for 3 Career Coaching sessions per year as alumni which I am excited to take advantage of.
I would recommend TripleTen to anyone who values support, accessibility, empathy, and experience throughout their journey of career advancement. You will learn what you need to learn with high industry standards in mind. You will get your hands dirty. You will continuously practice. There might be moments when you feel the imposter syndrome kick in, but we all start somewhere. The greatest thing you can do is believe that you are worthy of taking that leap of faith and envisioning what you actually want in a career. Those intentions — coupled with curiosity and discipline — will set you up for success.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support4.0Instructors5.0Lana of TripleTen

I graduated and my career coach vanished on me, then a new one was assigned and he vanished also. No one had informed me my career coach had changed twice. Few weeks go by with my new career coach and guess what he vanishes also. Not to mention the money back guarantee is filled with tons of loop holes that make sure you fail to get it back. The program does an excellent job of breaking down complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, easy-to-understand lessons, which made it much easier to stay engaged and continue progressing. One of the biggest highlights for me has been the hands-on approach. The labs and virtual machines gave me the opportunity to apply what I was learning in real-world scenarios, helping me build both confidence and practical skills that are essential in this field.
I also found the Network Mastery Workshop and Interview Mastery Workshop to be extremely useful. These sessions provided real, actionable insights on how to prepare for job opportunities, improve communication skills, and build a strong and professional LinkedIn presence. The information shared was practical and something I can immediately apply as I continue growing in my career.
The support system has truly stood out. My learning coach and career coach were both supportive, responsive, and genuinely invested in my success. In addition, the instructors were always there when I had questions or ran into issues. They took the time to walk me through problems step by step and stayed with me until everything was fully resolved, which made a huge difference in my learning experience.
Overall, this has been a great experience and I am truly grateful for everything I’ve learned. I would highly recommend this program to anyone serious about starting a career in cybersecurity.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0Lana of TripleTen

And they didn't disappoint there, besides the career projects that help you figure out your UVP (who you are that makes you unique), they also helped with making a cover letter, resume, and doing mock interview(s), also there are webinars to join in that really helped on interviewing dos and don'ts. The technical part of the projects prepared me for doing the job I want to do and the career projects helped me get ready to interview and get the job. I found a job post on Indeed that I was going to use for my mock interview, but after my mock interview I felt so good about it and got some really good feedback that I just decided to go for it and apply for the actual job. I haven't yet completed my course, but I felt that the job was about a 95% match for my skills. After the interview I was really happy as I felt like I did a good job and was well prepared for the behavioral questions that were asked and for the job related ones as well. And I actually got called back and offered the position! This will be my first job in software, before this I worked at a food manufacturing company in multiple jobs with Quality Assurance being something I was a part of for a good amount of that time. It is part of the reason I took the QA Engineer course as I was already interested in QA and had experience there. The most important part of TripleTen is finding the course that interests you, and I'm glad I found QA Engineer program as I knew after the 1st project it was for me. If I didn't end up liking it though they would work with me to switch programs so I could learn what actually interests me. #1 thing I can recommend is as soon as your eligible to join a code jam event, they have them monthly and was really a confidence boost for me. I joined a Bug jam and it really helped me learn more as it was more real world testing and getting to see scenarios that I didn't see in the course work, i.e. found multiple bugs could be in a single test case and to report them separately, found some gray areas, and learned how to do performance testing. I also learned from my teammate I was working with, and will now make better summary reports after testing is done! Also during the program they have multiple ways to get help, I have a learning coach who contacts me for check-ins and emailed me a link to helpful videos for each sprint. There is multiple ways I can get help from instructors, either 1:1, group hours (daily multiple times), ask questions on their hub for course work, and career related questions have a questions section as well.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0Lana of TripleTen

But the program could use some work and it could also use more interaction. Although I had a computer science background, I felt I needed more hands-on, real-world experience, which is exactly what this program offered. After speaking with the TripleTen team and learning about the structure and financing options, I decided to enroll. The course is very well structured and keeps you motivated. Each section has lessons, quizzes, and a project at the end, and you must complete one chapter before moving to the next. This helped me stay disciplined and consistent. The best part of the program was the projects — I completed 15+ hands-on projects, starting from SQL and data cleaning to machine learning. Every project was reviewed in detail, and I had to fix and resubmit based on feedback, which really improved my skills and confidence. The 24/7 support, mentors, and career coach were very helpful. The career sessions on resumes, LinkedIn, and mock interviews gave me a clear idea of how to approach the job market. About four months after completing the bootcamp, I landed a Data Engineer role and now work with AI, which was my goal from the start.I would definitely recommend TripleTen to anyone serious about building practical data science skills and transitioning into tech.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support1.0Instructors4.0Lana of TripleTen

I hadn't seen much about TripleTen before I joined, so it really felt like a leap of faith. An online bootcamp is only as good as you make it, if you just take the courses and don't participate in anything else you won't get as much out of it as someone that does all the events, tutoring hours, or study sessions. This bootcamp gave me the skills I needed to land a job, but the tutors and study sessions gave me the confidence in my abilities to actually go searching for one. If you decide to do this, use the tools available to you! One tutor sat with me for a full hour two days in a row because I could not wrap my head around what I was doing (shoutout Kevin) and when we were done I had a completed project! The curriculum is structured to build a strong foundation in modern web development, covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and more. Each module builds on the last, and the hands‑on projects gave me the confidence to apply new skills in real‑world scenarios.
One of the bootcamp’s greatest strengths is the support system. Mentors and tutors were responsive and encouraging, and the career team provided valuable guidance on resumes, LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation. The externship and Career Acceleration program added another layer of practical experience, helping me bridge the gap between learning and employment.
That said, the program is rigorous and requires consistent effort. Balancing deadlines with personal responsibilities can be challenging, but the structure teaches discipline and time management, which are all necessary skills that are just important as coding itself.
Overall, TripleTen gave me the tools, confidence, and community I needed to pursue my dream of becoming a software engineer. TripleTen didn’t just teach me tools — it pushed me to build real, end-to-end projects that strengthened my skills and helped me transition into the technical roles I’m pursuing today.Hands-On Projects I CompletedDuring the program, I built multiple industry-style projects that covered the full data science lifecycle:- Churn Prediction Model (Beta Bank): Cleaned, processed, and engineered customer data to train classification models (Logistic Regression, Random Forest, CatBoost). Delivered a final model with strong recall for at-risk customers.
- Age Verification with Computer Vision (Good Seed): Applied convolutional neural networks for image classification, performing preprocessing and model tuning to increase accuracy.
- Oil Well Profitability (OilyGiant): Built a regression model to predict profit, analyzed risk, and identified the most profitable drilling locations.
- Time Series Forecasting: Built ARIMA/LightGBM models to predict demand patterns over time.
- Gold Recovery Optimization: Conducted EDA, feature engineering, and modeling to improve pipeline efficiency.
- SQL & Data Analysis Projects: Used SQL extensively for joins, subqueries, asset-tracking tables, and analytical queries that mirror real enterprise environments.
- Python: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras, CatBoost
- SQL: Advanced joins, CTEs, subqueries, aggregations
- Machine Learning: Classification, regression, cross-validation, time series, feature engineering
- Version Control: Git & GitHub for professional project documentation

I have to say that this learning platform has been the most supportive and helpful program that I have ever done. There are tons of learning tutors that are there to explain the projects/sprints. You are given a learning coach that is there to keep you accountable and on time as well as aid you in any questions. As for the career coach, She is fantastic, patient, and detailed. Overall this program has not only helped me learn about cybersecurity, and its job requirements but it has also given me great professional advice. It was demanding and required a focused commitment, but I can honestly say it was worth the hard work and price of admission. I was one of only 5 students to complete the program on time (started with 50 students), which was both a surprise and also confirmation of the dedication required.
The courses were well structured and I learned a great deal, especially about accessibility standards. I also came away with very strong skills using Figma, which is currently a desirable trait when searching for a design role. To be honest though, any student will be best served by doing your own learning in addition to the curriculum, such as YouTube tutorials and the like. The sprints were mostly fair in terms of completion requirements, and the feedback i received from project submissions were very helpful and informative. I will say, this varies with your reviewer; some were extremely helpful while other reviews felt rushed and lacking in constructive feedback. Was I just doing such a great job that there weren't many notes? I doubt it!
I must say here that the tutors were awesome and their availability was excellent. This is one of the best parts about TripleTen. If you decide to enroll here, plan on taking advantage of this!! They are a wealth of knowledge and any time I logged into tutor hours, I received one on one help.
The career sprints certainly help to get you ready for the job hunt. The most valuable aspect to me was the mock interviews. Both HR and technical interviews were very helpful in preparing me for the real thing, and gave me a positive outlook on something I was dreading! The career sprints were good, but the completion requirements often caused advancement through the regular sprints to grind to a hault, which was extremely frustrating. This was do to the long review time allotment, which was even longer than technical project reviews, which honestly made no sense to me. Hopefully they have fixed this since myself and many others in my group were actively complaining about this.
After graduating, the job search was difficult to say the least. The job market is a highly competitive hellscape right now, and the application process is discouraging for the most part. I am happy to say that I did land a design job after about 4 months of searching. The thing that I feel secured the position was my interview skills, which, as I noted previously, was honed with TripleTen's mock interviews.
In summary, would I recommend TripleTen to someone looking to switch careers into tech? Yes, I certainly would. But just know: if you are serious about your future career, you will need to work on your skills in addition to this bootcamp, and that means both technical and personal skills. The bootcamp is simply not enough as the job landscape is extremely competitive and oversaturated with applicants for any and all job openings. In my case, I was just about to give up when I finally got my opportunity, so keep working, keep learning, and try not to give up even when the job search beats you down. And it will.Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job support3.0Instructors5.0Lana of TripleTen

When I decided to pivot into software engineering, I wanted a program that would respect the fact that I wasn’t a total beginner to technical thinking, but still needed clear guidance to translate those skills into code. TripleTen delivered exactly that.
The curriculum is well-structured and approachable, even for someone transitioning from a creative field. The progression from basic JavaScript and front-end foundations to backend development and DevOps felt natural — like learning how different “tracks” of a project come together in a full-stack “mix.” I especially appreciated how TripleTen encourages building complete projects early on. It reminded me of working on a mix session — you start rough, add layers, iterate, and refine until everything fits together.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0Lana of TripleTen

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and creative reflection on your journey! We love how you drew parallels between audio engineering and software development. That’s a fantastic analogy, and it perfectly captures the spirit of how both disciplines balance structure and creativity. It’s great to hear that the progression of the curriculum and the focus on building complete projects early on helped you make that transition smoothly. We’re so glad the program gave you the clarity and confidence to turn your technical instincts into coding expertise. Wishing you continued success as you mix creativity and logic in your new software engineering career!
Cheers,

The curriculum provides a solid foundation in tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI. However, to become truly proficient, you’ll need to go beyond the coursework. I recommend joining Code Pudding and practicing with public datasets to build hands-on experience. The TripleTen community is supportive and active, which makes learning even more enjoyable. The Career Acceleration Program offered after graduation is also fantastic. The career coaches and workshops provide valuable guidance, personalized feedback, and actionable advice that really help you prepare for and land a job in the field.Overall4.0Curriculum4.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0Lana of TripleTen
