I personally have never had experience studying from an online boot camp, but I saw Practicum through an enticing advertisement and decided to finally pull the trigger after thinking about being part of a boot camp for some time. The early part of the course is easy to understand even for those without STEM backgrounds while teaching Python fundamentals. I am in the last third of the course and it has become increasingly difficult where I'm putting in 1.5x more hours than I had originally I think. Fortunately, the instructors are very responsive in addition to other students who are able to help. The community that is cultivated in my cohort is extremely impressive, and I do feel like I am growing and learning with my fellow students. The job assistance portion is relatively new, but I believe they are approaching it correctly and providing great resources for the job seekers. I'm curious to see the concepts they teach and the job assistance they provide in my last few months with them. I have trust in their ability to provide the same great quality for the rest of the boot camp.  Read less

I finished the introductory course in web development and it was fantastic, I cannot wait to start the full program. The course is very well written and the lessons are very informative. The coding platform is friendly and it provides you with hints when you get stuck. The community manager is very friendly and always there to help. Fantastic course so far!

Having completed the intro course, this program seems to be a really good mix between your standard intensive boot camp and something like DataQuest ore Codeacademy. This is helpful in keeping you motivated without feeling too rigid.

There is the occasional issue that arises due to some translation issue (Yandex is a Russian company), but translating is hard enough without having to do it while teaching a technical subject. I'd rate this a 4.5 stars if I could due to the newness of the course and the fact it's still in development.

All in all, I highly recommend at least trying the intro to see if the format works for you. Read less

I am a student at the faculty of Computer Science. Throughout the years I was trying to furthermore deepen my knowledge and experience in the field of CS and programming by applying and participating in various boot camps some of which where 500+ hour coding boot camps, some of them online and some onsite.

I was nervous about signing up for a bootcamp because after reading about them, many seemed to not have much depth nor prepare you to truly be a data scientist. I was already diving in to data science by watching YouTube videos and reading articles, but I wanted to know more than just writing or copying lines of code, so before I signed up I looked at outline of topics and I was surprised that it dove into a wide range of topics and more important, statistics and linear algebra. I wanted a deep understand of what I was doing and why we use one regression formula over another one.

With Practicum, I feel that I have not only wrote the code, but understand what I am doing and why. Practicum not only provides theory, but provides exercises to complete to better grasps the concepts learns. What makes it better, it uses real life data that is relatable in the real world. Even better, when I have a question or confused on a concept, there is a instructor and other peers who can answer my question. One thing I really love is the projects, this is where we open up a Jupyter Notebook and do everything for ourselves to answer the questions posed for the assignment. We process the data, we analyze the data, and draw conclusions. Our projects are then code reviewed to make sure we have accomplished the task at hand and have drawn the right conclusion.         As an alpha tester for the Practicum by Yandex Data Analyst professional program I can attest to the strength of the program’s quality in teaching you how to think and apply the skills required to be an effective data analyst.  The strength of their program even at their early stage of development comes at no surprise to me as the company is one of the leading IT companies in Europe. In regards to the program, I like the sprint-like approach that they take to learning wherein you have two weeks to complete the lessons, coding tasks, and projects associated with each course (ie. Data Preprocessing, A/B tests, etc.). I have found this very helpful because it has made me into a more efficient learner while seeing progress in my learning.         I also like the support structure that Yandex creates for its programs. Whenever I have trouble with a coding task/project or need help grasping some of the theories, I can always reach out to my peers, tutor, or 24/7 learning support via Slack. This along with the biweekly webinar has been very helpful because most of the topics are new to me as a psychology major. In regards to the projects--my personal highlight of the program-- they provide you with enough tips to be able to independently complete the project using the approach and learning that was taught in the course lessons. These are later checked and provided with constructive feedback by professionals in the field (in my case Data Analyst). Top it off with the job support that they provide after finishing the program and this program becomes one of the top (and relatively cheap) technical boot camps out there.         All in all, the hands-on and sprint-like learning approach, as well as the support system that makes up the  Practicum by Yandex courses, make it a top-boot camp that anyone wanting to enter into tech should strongly consider taking. Personally, I’ve developed a deeper understanding of the data analyst field and substantially developed my coding and problem-solving skills through this program.

I started this program 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier with the structure and the curriculum. The program is 10 months long and it covers both front and backend technology needed to become a web developer. The curriculum starts with a free introductory course on HTLM and CSS then progresses to more advance topics in HTML and CSS, JavaScript, React and Node. The work is completed in two weeks sprints. Every two weeks a number of lectures and exercises become available followed by an independent project assignment. Each project is reviewed by an experienced developer who will ensure your project uses best coding practices. In the end you have will have a professional project to add to your portfolio.

In addition to the curriculum, I like the community aspect of the program. There are tutors and a slack group for students. There's also bi-weekly live coding lessons where students have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the project work. 

I would recommend this bootcamp to anyone who wants to learn web development. Since this is a longer program, students really get a chance to learn the material covered and practice using real developer tools such as Figma, Git and Github. Definitely give this program a try! Read less

I'm freshman in coding. I learned basics on different platforms, and I felt it wasn't enough. 
I've accidentally started Yandex Practicum course, and from the first lesson (okey, from the 10-15th , cause these were too simple for me), I've understood I'm on the right way. I feel confident in learning Data Analytics course. Anytime I may ask mentors or other students in our chat for help. I face a lot of difficulties every time I open the course, or when I do practise by analysing any dataset I can found in the Web, but I don't give up. During the course I've learn how to make mistakes, and how to use it as strengths. 
I love tasks we solve during the course. Most of the tasks are taken from real-life. I don't feel I just solve an exercise from a book, I feel I participate in research in a company, and do my job. For me, this "atmosphere" means a lot. It encourages me to keep studying. 
Curriculum in general, is done good, but sometimes (if you've done previous chapter too fast), you have to wait for an access to a new one for a couple of days (up to week). Webinars are held in the morning, New York Time, and it is early evening in Europe / Middle East. However, we had an interesting webinar, that was at 7 pm., New York time (in Israel in was 3 am). Once, but still. 
Instructors are really friendly and helpful. They available and answer almost anytime we write them. They always send us additional material, show different ways to solve a task, and share stories from data analytics world. 
I am very glad I've started this course. Thanks to Yandex Team, I feel tremendous interest in Data Analysis and coding with Python.

I've been taking part in the Web Developer course since February and I've been blown away by the level of support I've received from both mentors, code reviewers and fellow students in the Slack group. Prior to this course I was studying from free resources in my spare time and generally just going it alone. After a few months I started feeling directionless and like I had reached a plateau - I was ready to throw the towel in.

Joining the course changed all that. I feel like I'm part of something bigger than me and it's great. If I ever need help all I need to do is ask the mentors or other students for help. When I submit my code for review I get constructive feedback as to what can be improved and links to resources that will help me improve.

I have levelled up so much due to this and it's the best course I've done by far. Can't wait to see what the next 6-7 months bring! Read less

When I enrolled in TripleTen, I wasn’t looking for a quick shortcut into tech. I wanted to build real software engineering skills that would complement my background in Electrical Engineering Technology and help me become a better engineer overall.

Before TripleTen, I had spent several years working as a Physical Scientist in the FBI Laboratory. Although I had a technical background, I had very little experience building modern web applications. TripleTen gave me a structured path that took me from HTML, CSS, and JavaScript all the way through React, Node.js, Express, databases, APIs, authentication, and full-stack development.

One of the things I appreciated most was that every sprint built upon the previous one. Instead of simply watching videos, I was constantly writing code, debugging projects, completing code reviews, and learning how professional software is developed. By the end of the program, I had built several portfolio projects, including a complete full-stack application with user authentication, databases, backend APIs, and deployment to the cloud. Those projects gave me confidence that I could build real applications from scratch.

The career support was another major benefit. The resume reviews, LinkedIn guidance, mock interviews, networking advice, and job search coaching helped me improve how I presented myself to employers. The career coaches consistently encouraged me to keep applying even when the search became discouraging.

My job search was not easy. I applied to roughly 200 positions over the course of more than a year. There were many rejections and periods where I questioned whether I was moving in the right direction. Looking back, I’m glad I stayed consistent. The technical knowledge, projects, and confidence I gained through TripleTen helped me demonstrate that I could learn new technologies and solve complex technical problems.

Ultimately, I accepted an offer as an Associate Systems Integration & Test Engineer with Lockheed Martin. While the role is not a traditional software engineering position, software development skills are becoming increasingly valuable in systems engineering, integration, automation, testing, and data analysis. TripleTen helped me become a stronger and more versatile engineer, and I know those programming skills will continue to benefit my career for years to come.

My advice to future students is simple: don’t expect the bootcamp alone to get you hired. Treat it like a tool that gives you the skills—you still need to build projects, improve your resume, network with people, apply consistently, and stay persistent. There will be moments when it feels like nothing is happening, but every project you build and every application you submit moves you closer to the opportunity that’s right for you.

If you’re willing to put in the work, ask questions, and keep learning even after graduation, TripleTen provides an excellent foundation for launching or expanding a career in technology. Read less

The technical skills covered are genuinely relevant - SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and data visualization are all things employers are looking for. My one gripe is the balance: too much time on Tableau, which many enterprises are moving away from, and not enough on Power BI, which most are actively adopting. That's worth revisiting.
The career coursework was well-designed, but felt more tailored to someone starting fresh than someone pivoting mid-career. If you already know how to network, tailor a resume, and run a STAR method interview, a lot of it will feel like review. That said, the mock interviews were genuinely useful - I wasn't sure what to expect from tech interview questions coming from a different industry, and that practice mattered.
Both of my career coaches were great. I was frustrated when my coach was switched mid-program, but Fran was excellent - relatable, knowledgeable, and clearly invested in her students.

I resisted the bi-weekly AJSP calls at first - they were required to keep my money-back guarantee, so it wasn't exactly optional. But I'm glad they were, because they ended up being more valuable than I expected. Hearing other graduates talk through their struggles and wins was exactly the boost I needed during the harder stretches of the job search.
I ended up landing a role with a (still desirable) slightly lower salary from my previous role, BUT, with better hours, zero commute, and more time with my family. Honestly, I consider that a win - and a foundation to build from.

TripleTen helped prepare me for a career in tech by giving me hands-on experience working on real-world style projects. I learned how to work with data, build dashboards, analyze business problems, and present insights in a professional way. The program also helped me become more comfortable using tools like Tableau and Power BI while improving my problem-solving and critical thinking skills. One of the biggest things I gained was confidence in learning technical skills even without a traditional tech background.The career support program was helpful when it came to building a professional resume and improving my LinkedIn profile. The process took time and required patience, but continuing to practice and build projects helped me feel more prepared for interviews and job opportunities.My advice to future students considering TripleTen would be to stay consistent and practice outside of the lessons as much as possible. The program moves quickly at times, so taking extra time to really understand the tools and concepts makes a big difference. I’ve taken multiple online courses over the past decade and have only completed a couple, which essentially led nowhere in the real world. As a creative person who wanted to find stability in a freelance landscape, I developed my algorithm to attract all of the bootcamps, courses, and degrees it could push me. TripleTen stood out as it highlighted a MGB, or money-back guarantee. Not only did they appear confident in their job placement, but students were offered a Learning Coach that would be there for you along the way. That was particularly enticing as online learning can feel lonely and moral can quickly fade. The post that had found me also said I could speak to someone on the phone, so I booked a call and the person on the phone answered my questions and concerns. It was reassuring to talk to a real person about a commitment that would essentially change the trajectory of my life as a self-taught graphic designer who had intermittent clients and a part-time job. 
I wasn’t even quite sure what UX/UI was until I started the program, but the way the course was written out was approachable in tone and patient with me. It was certainly overwhelming at times, but instead of quitting like in programs of the past, I had support and was encouraged to use as many tools as needed. For example, Speechify was a huge help as I learned that combining visual and audio was essential (and possibly a reason I struggled in school). Not only did TripleTen teach the hard skills of the industry, but they simultaneously taught integral soft skills that helped me work through a lot so I could be prepared to work in a more structured and disciplined environment. This personal change started to mirror my understanding of a once nebulous subject and framed it in a way that made everything eventually click. Every sprint felt productive and purposeful as each project was building your own portfolio, so I felt compelled to finish — even if I had to max out my extensions. 

TripleTen was incredibly understandable when life was unpredictable, and this absence of any judgement or punishment allowed for real growth rather than that feeling of studying for an exam just to pass the class. I took advantage of the chat feature on my dashboard if I ever had questions during my studies, as well as texting my Learning Coach and connecting with the TripleTen community. Knowing that I had multiple avenues for help made any lesson feel possible to figure out.
Were there projects I was happy to get through by the second try? Of course, but it always felt rewarding to know that my work reflected TripleTen’s standards. I didn’t want to pass just for the sake of passing. Our work speaks for ourselves in the real world. 

Though I felt I could have been contacted more regarding alumni support, I was able to still participate in the community and ask for feedback when I got anxious applying to jobs that required Bachelor degrees (I have an Associate of Science degree). Eventually, I was able to secure my current position as UX/UI Designer by utilizing my work experience up until that point to make the case on why our company needed product development. Since I did not find my position through TripleTen, I can’t necessarily comment on their new job search platform, but I am now qualified for 3 Career Coaching sessions per year as alumni which I am excited to take advantage of.
I would recommend TripleTen to anyone who values support, accessibility, empathy, and experience throughout their journey of career advancement. You will learn what you need to learn with high industry standards in mind. You will get your hands dirty. You will continuously practice. There might be moments when you feel the imposter syndrome kick in, but we all start somewhere. The greatest thing you can do is believe that you are worthy of taking that leap of faith and envisioning  what you actually want in a career. I’ve had a really positive experience studying Cybersecurity through TripleTen so far. The program has helped me build practical skills in areas like security monitoring, vulnerability analysis, and understanding real-world cybersecurity concepts in a structured and beginner-friendly way.

One thing I really appreciate is how supportive the staff and tutors have been throughout the program. Whenever I’ve had questions or needed help, they’ve always been responsive and willing to guide me in the right direction. They also helped me improve and build my LinkedIn profile and provide career support that makes the transition into the tech industry feel a lot less overwhelming.

Courses are good to learn the basics, but what made me choose them was they would help you get a job or you get your money back guarantee, which is honestly just a big scam. I graduated and my career coach vanished on me, then a new one was assigned and he vanished also. No one had informed me my career coach had changed twice. Few weeks go by with my new career coach and guess what he vanishes also. Not to mention the money back guarantee is filled with tons of loop holes that make sure you fail to get it back. Go with a cheaper course that will give you more of an education and will be more helpful for cheaper.  Read less

My experience with TripleTen has been a highly valuable and rewarding journey so far. The program does an excellent job of breaking down complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, easy-to-understand lessons, which made it much easier to stay engaged and continue progressing. One of the biggest highlights for me has been the hands-on approach. The labs and virtual machines gave me the opportunity to apply what I was learning in real-world scenarios, helping me build both confidence and practical skills that are essential in this field.
I also found the Network Mastery Workshop and Interview Mastery Workshop to be extremely useful. These sessions provided real, actionable insights on how to prepare for job opportunities, improve communication skills, and build a strong and professional LinkedIn presence. The information shared was practical and something I can immediately apply as I continue growing in my career.
The support system has truly stood out. My learning coach and career coach were both supportive, responsive, and genuinely invested in my success. In addition, the instructors were always there when I had questions or ran into issues. They took the time to walk me through problems step by step and stayed with me until everything was fully resolved, which made a huge difference in my learning experience.
