I enrolled in the January of 2024 cohort for Data Analytics. This company and program is a complete joke. The teachers are rude and either rush through the course or they don't try to answer your questions. They said there would be job support. Then they advised us it was only for students in India. They don't not teach based off the course material but based on what they think you should learn using a white board, so when you go take the quizzes/tests you have no idea what they are talking about unless you do the self learning. They have an end of the course project that you do which they provide NO support on. This program was supposed to be backed by Purdue University BUT Purdue has little to no involvement in the program. They do not verify your qualifications when enrolling in the program all they want is for your pay and enroll. I wish I was able to get refund because this is not what I was told nor what I was promised when enrolling by their advisors. I feel like I completely wasted my time and $3000. Which is very over overpriced for what they offered.

Update: someone from Simplilearn reach out by the name of Starlite. She emailed me on Tuesday. I was unavailable to set up a meeting with her or email her back yet. So she sets up an appointment through Google with out me confirming a time and sent me an email saying "I am in the waiting room." When I was finally available to email her on Wednesday I advised her I was not available on Tuesday can we do a phone call instead this week and she NEVER responded to me. DO NOT give these people your time or money. They are a SCAM. Read less

I have enrolled for online Professional Certificate course in Data Analytics from IIT Kanpur. My experience so far while doing this course has been very good. It is a very informative course. The course involves various Modules; like: "Business Analytics with Excel, MySQL, Programming Foundation and Data Analytics with Python, Data Analytics with R, Tableau Training, and Data Analytics Capstone Project." It is a very crucial course for career development and for the growth of a business, as it converts raw data into actionable insights. It includes a range of tools, technologies, and processes that are used to find trends and solve problems by using the data. Avoid joining Simplilearn; they engage in fraudulent activities, overcharge, and fail to provide PGP certificates.




I enrolled in their Data Engineering PGP program and completed all the requirements, but they have been deceptive. Initially, I joined for a PGP program, but my Learning Management System only showed a professional certificate. When I inquired about the PGP certificate, they demanded I extend my classes and pay an additional fee of around 30,000. I am extremely dissatisfied with Simplilearn and advise others not to enroll in this deceptive institution.

Hi, I along with my colleague enrolled in Simpli Learn Caltech AI Program, upon enrollment we were told that this is a Caltech program delivered through simpli learn. If we don’t like the program after first week the amount will be fully refunded. When we attended the first session they hired a local trainer from Hyderabad and started the session. Upon checking further they said we will change the cohort, we requested refund right after the first session. The learning team member reached out to us and changed our cohort to December, we told them to process refund however they promised to process refund if we did not like December cohort. 
December cohort was a disaster as the course content itself was changed.
We had call on Dec 12 2023 with simplilearn program manager of Caltech AI program she mentioned that she cannot help as program is changed and she would approve refund. 
It’s been more than 3 weeks they don’t give any update regarding refund and also don’t answer calls. I had to reach my learning representative through toll free manager and had to plead to connect with the concerned person.

I was told by the leaning consultant when I enrolled that the course would be a 3 month duration one. But after enrolling I realised that the course would be pretty long and hard to manage alongside your work schedule if you are a working professional.

So the criteria to unlock the master certificate(the one awarded after completing all 6 courses in the Business Analyst Program) was to complete 2 course end projects from 2 different courses or complete 65% of the course to unlock certificate and avail the placement assistance.

I had contacted the customer care team after completing the all the 6 courses(from live class recording to self learning and project submission and plus one more elective course). So, here I had completed 7 courses instead of just 2 courses which is needed to get placement assistance. But even though I had completed 6/6(main courses with 100% complete rate each) my progress on my Learning Management System was only 19% course completion.

When I asked them to provide me with the placement assistance they bluntly told no because my course progress was only 19%. When I asked them why was it 19% when I have completed all classes, projects and certification exams, they said it is mainly because I haven't attended any live class.

So when I logically questioned them asking if we keep 50% weightage for live classes and the rest 50% weightage for the self learning+exams+projects, still my course progress should have touched 50%.

Also the course curriculum isn’t updated or industry relevant. They teach the concepts half and half and when you do the projects you will realize that, and will be forced to watch more than a couple of YouTube videos to get your concepts sorted out.

So I would highly recommend anyone planning on enrolling for this course to not proceed further ahead as misleading promises are made and hardly any support is provided to address the learner’s problems. It is really disheartening to have put in so much of hard work and be denied the opportunity to sit for placements solely on the reason that I could not attend a live class. Also I had told their Consultant before getting myself enrolled that my work timings (11AM to 11PM) would not let me attend any live classes, yet the executive lied to me that it would never be an issue as they would be providing me the recording and also would not affect my eligibility for the placements as well.

Certification Scam....Opened a ticket and it has more than 172hrs since they haven't resolved it. They said they were having technical difficulties....to give me my certification? wow, I cannot Imagine my University telling me I cannot get my bachelors diploma due to technical issues. I enrolled in Simplilearn's Digital Marketing Job Guaranteed Program with high hopes. They assured me a job in Delhi NCR, which made me feel confident about the course. However, things didn't turn out as expected.



After completing the program, they delayed the job placement by six months. To make matters worse, they insisted that I should be open to jobs all over India, not just in Delhi NCR. They also imposed a strict and time-consuming Google form requirement with a one-day deadline. If you missed filling it out, they threatened that you'd lose out on career opportunities and your chance for a refund.



Simplilearn charged an additional 45 thousand rupees for this Job Guaranteed Program, which seemed like a money-making scheme to me. Throughout the course, they didn't provide enough information or feedback. In my opinion, it's not worth taking any courses from Simplilearn. You can learn more from YouTube, and you'll save a lot of money. If you're considering a career change, I strongly advise against learning from Simplilearn.

 Total scam. Don't take their 100% job guarantee program. I have applied to all their jobs but still they created something on their own and didn't give me the refund. I have all the email with me, whatever they have sent me. How is this possible that I didn't apply some job. They are literally don't care about your career+your hard earned money. worst people.

I was fooled by SimpliLearn learning consultant, Nikhill. I have repeatedly reached out to him long time ago, expressing my desire for a refund due to the poor quality of the program. He kept convincing me to remain patient and gave me false hope that if I wasn't satisfied, a full refund could be issued. However, now he said that he can not issue the refund due to the policy. Because I did take action accordingly to his advice and promise, so it does not make sense if he said I violated the policy. If he says so, I must understand that he tried to fool me to take my money. It is an act of fraud. When I demanded to escalate this issue to the upper management for a fair and timely resolution, everyone tried to avoid the responsibility and no one gave me the contact. When I called the phone number on their website, a guy picked up the phone and pretended to say that this is not the number of SimpliLearn. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has completely destroyed my trust in Simplilearn. I expect urgent action to address this situation and fulfill the promised refund.

This company is very low standard and not professional at all. They just have a system and some outdated self learning materials to cheat people. They are just thieves. The live class instructors don't know how to teach and they are not knowledgeable. They just want money and don't care for any complain or issue. Not recommended at all.  Read less
