Nucamp bootcamps offer excellent and affordable training for entry-level jobs in tech. They provide the flexibility of 100% online, part-time, self-scheduled study with the accountability and support of active mentoring and live, online workshops. Bootcamps include Cybersecurity (15 weeks), Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks), Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks), Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks), Solo AI Tech Entrepreneur (30 weeks), as well as AI Essentials for Work (15 weeks), an intro to Web Development Fundamentals (4 weeks of HTML, CSS, & Bootstrap), and a Job Hunting Bootcamp (4 weeks for anyone, educated or self-trained, looking for hands-on help with finding their next job).
Students of Nucamp's longer bootcamps are prepared for junior, entry-level jobs. In addition, several bootcamps prepare students to take industry-recognized certification exams from JSE, Python Institute PCEP, and CompTIA, etc. Nucamp offers career services to its graduates, including 1:1 career coaching and exclusive access to Nucamp’s curated, nationwide job board. Graduates enjoy lifetime access to their curriculum, including updates, and to Nucamp's online learning community for continued networking and career support.
Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. See their website for scholarship opportunities. New bootcamps start every 5 weeks with a dedicated instructor guiding small cohorts of typically no more than 20 students. Admission is open to all 18 years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

There's a lot of information to obtain and it can seem overwhelming, but the instructors are really good at helping you stay on track and understand the lessons a bit better. I would like to have more live interactions with the instructors in the near future, because it was a little hard to follow and thoroughly understand the video lessons. I would also love more hands-on learning. I enjoyed my time though.Overall4.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors4.0 -

Nucamp is the least expensive compared to other in-person bootcamps. However, due to COVID-19, the in-person classes were replaced by Zoom meetings every Saturday which I was not sure if I was going to like. Although the setting was not ideal, it did not take away from the experience - the instructor was very helpful and very knowledgeable and was willing to help as much as he could. The instructor was very knowledgeable, approachable and did a better job of explaining the content than the video lessons. You have to visit other 3rd party resources to re-review the content in the lessons and practice it to understand it. I felt as if I understood the content at first and then had to go through all of the
video lessons again several times as the information was not being retained. Nothing would click until the weekly workshops with the instructor. The Basics cohort gave me a taste for coding, I will take time to practice and javascript on my own before the next cohorts as they will require decent javascript knowledge. I was able to absorb and work with the html and css parts, but I had the most issue with the Javascript lessons and I will have to work on it more on my own so that I will not fall behind and take a break because if you do not retain and understand the information, it will take more than 2-3 hours every week day and all of your weekend for the workshop assignments. But it will light a spark to keep learning and get better.Overall4.0Curriculum4.0Job support4.0Instructors5.0 -
