It is advertised as a beginner's course, which is true to some extent, but I feel like the way the material is presented is for people who have had exposure to the material beforehand. A lot of the people in my class had never even seen or written a line of code before starting. A lot of the self-work lessons are very shallow and you are expected to do a lot of research outside the classwork on your own to even figure out what some of the concepts presented to you are.
