Great Course, but You'll Have to do More.

It was certainly helpful in giving me basics and a community of current/aspiring devs to be connected with. The instructors are really helpful, and they make themselves available for you to ask questions of and grow.
I wouldn't, however, expect this course to make you job ready just by itself. This course gave me necessary building blocks to grow as a developer, but I also had to use many other resources in order to understand key concepts. If you're expecting this course to be a one-stop-shop for all your needs to become a full time dev, then you'll be disappointed.
With that being said, I have learned a ton about web developement, and Nucamp has no doubt launched me in the right direction toward being a full-time dev. The community, instructors, and resources alone make it well worth the low fee. It's also really helpful to have structure and accountability of classmates to keep coding!

As previously stated, I'm a cyber communications Airman in the USAF by trade, but my I only know layer 1 communications (outside/inside plant cable and antenna systems). I saw NuCamp advertised on Facebook, thb, and decided to look into it. The fundamentals (intro) class was affordable and the reviews for it are pretty good. What I liked most about it was my instructor, Drew Hackelman. He was patient with newer students, like myself, who knew nothing about HTML/CSS/JavaScript and he took the time to help us out whenever needed.
