I wanted to get familiar with HTML5, CSS3, and I wanted to learn more about JavaScript, and how it works.
I looked at other boot camps, and I decided to give Nucamp a try.
I looked over the website trying to find was it a good fit for me.
Honestly, the price and curriculum were right compared to other boot camps.
I had my doubts honestly speaking, but I Signed up jumped all in.
I followed the directions. I asked questions. It was like an adventure before you know it trying to get things done, watching videos, reading, coding interacting with classmates.
I started to see things take shape, and before you know it the videos, I had watched others do on YouTube I was now doing it in the comfort of my own home.
I have come a long way in coding.
I am better at researching now and executing code.
I have a better understanding of reading errors, and all the tools I need to code.
I have been given the opportunity to learn and I was able to afford the class.
I would highly recommend anyone who wants to learn how to code to give Nucamp a try.

Always looking for the free or under $20 type courses. Been toying with the idea of enrolling in a coding bootcamp but that can easily put you 10-20k in debt before you get a job. I've read some income sharing agreements and those things can be scary. Now here comes Nucamp a single ad on Instagram that changed everything for me. I started looking into it and there more I searched the better it kept getting. Finally the only thing left to do was get started. My experience has been great. Great instructors, very helpful community. Content was explained really well and the weekly projects keep that pressure on so that you keep pushing yourself. If you're like me and still looking at reviews, they are true and it is a great experience.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

The reason I went with Nucamp was:
1) the "Affordability" price per knowledge gained is very much worth it!
2) the "Flexibility" of the curriculum makes work/life/school more manageable for the
everyday 9 to 5 person.
3) the "NuCamp community" support through your journey is priceless!

Nucamp was a great option. Very affordable, great instructors, and great lessons. To make the most out of it, you have to put in the work beyond the minimum, but it is worth it. I feel very confident moving forward and looking for employment in the future. The bootcamp was conducted online due to the pandemic, but I don't feel it suffered at all and I really enjoyed the Saturday workshops. If your skills in HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript are rusty, I would however, recommend the Web Development Fundamentals course first. I took it and I think it helped me be able to focus on to the more complicated topics much quicker than some of my cohorts.Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job support4.0Instructors4.0 -

I had done a lot on my own already. But I knew I needed more. After searching through tons of bootcamps with various tuition rates/agreements and time commitments, I thought I simply wouldn't be able to afford the time or the money right away. Finally I came across NuCamp. The courses were exactly what I was looking for as well as matching my schedule. I was able to get a scholarship and the payments were doable.
The instructors for each module are extremely knowledgeable about what they are teaching. Many have daily office hours and they all answer quickly via slack. I also enjoyed the ongoing network of individuals that you become apart of when you enroll.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support4.0Instructors5.0 -

The instructors were all incredibly knowledgeable about the courses and very patient with teaching. They each took time to answer our questions and explain everything. Being able to attend online gave me the flexibility to keep my job while attending class. My classmates were invaluable to me. They supported be when I needed it, and I was able to do the same. Though it was online, I still felt connected to my classmates because of the zoom interactions. The instructor facilitated communication and teamwork when working through problems, which allowed us to not only bond to each other but also learn how developers communicate in the field. Having started my journey with Nucamp knowing nothing about coding, it is difficult for me to believe how much I have learned and how far I have come. Nucamp is truly incredible! I am excitedly stepping into the development world to begin the next chapter of my life, and I credit my knowledge and, hopefully, future success 100% to Nucamp and their team. After a breif chat about his experience I thought that I would give it a shot. Being new to coding I started with Web Development Fundamentals, this course was fast paced but very do able. Nucamp provides plenty of resources and I was very happy with my instructor Zach, it is refreshing to be a part of a program that truly is molded around the "adult working lifestyle". Today I finished my last assignment for this beginning course and I feel that Nucamp has helped me form a good foundation to succeed while I further my education in programming.
Thanks Nucamp!

I finally decided that a bootcamp would take me to the next level, so I looked into some of the marquee names out there. The problem was that many of them were full-time and required me to stop working. That really wasn't an option for me. Plus, I didn't have tens of thousands of dollars to spend on a bootcamp, nor was an ISA right for my particular situation.
When I came upon Nucamp, I knew that they could work for me. I applied for and got financing, so I could start the Web Development Fundamentals course without paying anything at first. When it came to instruction, the instructors were competent and helpful. The Nucamp Slack channel is also full of former and current students and instructors who are always willing to help out when you have a coding issue. Even at 3am!
I would definitely recommend Nucamp to anyone who wants to learn web development without putting down tens of thousands of dollars to do so. As a result of my positive experience at Nucamp, I am going on to their Full Stack bootcamp. I am even considering doing their Back End bootcamp after that one. So as you can see, Nucamp worked for me. I think it can work for most people. Check out their online Open Houses. They hold them every week on their YouTube channel. There you can ask Ludo and Nucamp staff any questions you have. They are more than happy to answer them.Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

The Web Fundamentals course taught so much on coding that I have never learned before. I did have a learning curve but I welcomed the challenge as I have always been a problem solver. I took this course because I want to share my coding skills with my high school physics students. I hope that in learning how to code, I would be able to integrate it into my high school physics classroom. I would like my own students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the classroom through coding in Physics.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

1. It's affordable, and easy for working adults as long as you make sure you have the time to study and do the lessons.
2. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful when you hit the inevitable roadblocks and frustrations. Many of the instructors were once students like yourself, so they've been there.
3. Employers are frequently reaching out scouting for new graduates, and there are plenty of opportunities depending on where you live.
It is more structured than learning on your own, but less so than full time bootcamps which are also more expensive. You can think of this one as a sort of hybrid between the two. That means you need to be somewhat self-motivated and are able to remove any distractions that keep you from devoting the roughly 2-3 hours per day for study and project work.Overall4.0Curriculum5.0Job support4.0Instructors5.0 -
