Coming from non-tech background, I had several doubts about the course, modules, study materials, projects and especially career services (which was tempting for me) when I cae across NextLeap. I reached out to them and asked my questions and they cleared all my doubts without being sugarcoating anything. I took the course and to my surprise it was way better than I thought. Knowledgeable and supportive mentors, hands on practice and even repeated sessions.  It's a 50-50 partnership. They provide you with everything you need to gain the knowledge, you study and practice all of it. That's what I did and that's how I became one of the top fellows.

Next leap provided a structured boot camp for both deck and interview preparation. The learnings helped me in both getting a shortlist by teaching how to make a great portfolio and an ATS-friendly resume, as well as converting the shortlist through thorough case preparation. The alumni network is excellent, especially with the founder, Arindam Mukherjee, who teaches in the live classes and is great at explaining concepts, as well as being rich in product background. I recently completed the Product Management Fellowship from NextLeap, and it was an incredibly valuable experience. The program is thoughtfully designed with a structured curriculum that helped me build a strong foundation in product thinking and develop a product mindset.The fellowship covers all the essential skills needed to succeed as a PM — including product management fundamentals, product design, SQL and data analysis, tech and system design basics, and an introduction to machine learning. This comprehensive approach gave me a holistic understanding of the PM role.A standout feature is the mentorship model. NextLeap's PM Fellowship is great. The course's study material is superior. So much so that one could self learn (If driven enough, if not, it can be overwhelming). Instructors are great, mentors are the best, you get your highest ROI learning from the mentors. Placements are meh. The PM market is super competitive these days and barely anyone gets a job just by applying. One's gotta go way above and beyond than just applying. That being said, if you're someone who's super curious and would prolly want to learn Product Management/Product Building & lifecycle so much, that you'd be fine not having an outcome attached to it, I'd suggest you to go for this. (PS: For someone who's enrolling now or already enrolled and starting the fellowship, your portfolio score needs to be above 80% to even apply to companies for placements so ensure you do projects from Day-1). I had a really fulfilling experience with NextLeap. What stood out to me was how well-structured the entire program was. Before joining the bootcamp, I had a basic idea of UI design but didn’t fully understand the “why” behind good product design. Joining the NextLeap program honestly changed the game for me.
The way it’s structured is super practical - it starts with the basics and gradually builds up to advanced topics, so it works great whether you're just starting out or trying to upskill.



What really stood out for me was the mentorship. I got to learn from folks who actually work in the industry, and they were genuinely helpful. 
They didn’t just teach - they gave personal feedback, cleared doubts quickly, and were there throughout the journey. From learning tools like SQL, Excel, Python, and dashboarding to actually working on real-world projects, it felt like I was constantly moving forward.



More than just the learning part, NextLeap really helped with placements too. The mock interviews, resume feedback, and portfolio support made a big difference. It gave me the confidence I needed to crack interviews and grab good opportunities.

If you’re serious about product management, this is 100% worth it. The competitive environment does half the work for you, pushing you to grow fast. The assignments are super fun and hands-on—you’ll actually enjoy doing them.

In short it's worth it. I was already having a product experience so I thought it would not be worth it but after I joined, the classes of Arindam was very insightful especially the case hours in which he shared his personal insights from experience in Flipkart as director of PM. Other instructors were not that good but okish. Max students are who wants to transition to PM hence the hiring partners were also hiring for interns, and APM mostly. Another great thing was peers, you make friends and can do mock interviews together which improves interview skills. Also they are beta testing ai one too. Mentor support was not that much helpful for me personally I don't know about others. Also you need to clear graduation project and mentor product interview to sit for placements. At last I would say the investment was worth it, i learnt how to do 1st principle thinking to build products. Read less
