The program goes beyond teaching UI and focuses on building strong product thinking, UX research, problem-solving, and design decision-making through practical, thoughtfully designed learning process that helped me apply concepts in real-world scenarios. One of the biggest highlights of the fellowship was the mentors. They are experienced industry professionals, and learning from each one of them was an incredible experience. Their perspectives, real-world examples, and guidance gave me a much deeper understanding of how product design works in practice. The placement team was also very supportive throughout the placement process, ensuring candidates were well-informed and guided at every stage. If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the feedback loop so learners receive more consistent and detailed feedback on their work. Other than that, my experience was excellent, and I'd highly recommend NextLeap to anyone looking to build a strong foundation in product design and prepare for the industry.Overall4.0Curriculum4.0Job support4.0Instructors5.0 -

The mentorship and support provided throughout the program were extremely helpful. The placement support team played a key role in helping me secure interview opportunities by guiding me on preparation and next steps. I would especially like to highlight Yunus Kidwai, who supported me at a personal level during my placement journey and helped me in getting interview opportunities. The course mentorship was also strong Harshit Bajpai was always available to help with my doubts and ensured that my questions were clearly resolved. One thing I really appreciated was how the team actively listens to student concerns. They discuss issues internally and take action to improve the experience, which shows they genuinely care about students' progress.Overall, this program helped me learn a lot in a short time and improved both my technical and practical understanding. I would recommend it to anyone looking for structured guidance and strong mentorship in their learning journey.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

The curriculum is exceptionally comprehensive, covering everything from SQL and Python to advanced data visualization, all while maintaining a sharp focus on business applications.
What sets this fellowship apart is the caliber of mentor support. Having access to industry experts who provide granular feedback on your work is invaluable. However, the real highlights are the Case Hours and Milestone Projects. These aren't just cookie-cutter exercises; they are rigorous challenges that forced me to build strong logical thinking and reasoning skills. By deconstructing complex business problems into data-driven solutions, I gained the confidence to tackle real-world datasets with a structured approach.
If you are looking for an opportunity to not just learn tools, but to think like a professional analyst, this fellowship is a game-changer. It provides a perfect environment to build a high-quality portfolio while learning from the best in the field.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

The curriculum is very relevant, industry-ready, and the case based pedagogy provides practical hands on learning. It imparts solid foundations and first principles mindset in the students. You also have the privilege of interacting with industry veterans and practising PMs for doubt clarification and case solving. Unlike the plethora of other me-too PM courses commercializing the hype, Nextleap emerges as an affordable, learning-centric, community driven platform. The best part is that the curriculum gets updated frequently and keeps you in line with the needs of the industry. Being able to learn from Arindam, the OG mastermind behind the Flipkart APM program is a privilege! The placement process is also very transparent and systematic, with great startups and firms being part of the hiring network. I can any day, blindly recommend Nextleap for anyone seeking PM upskilling platforms or is aspiring / transitioning to PM roles.

Building My Product Thinking from Curiosity to Confidence

I...I joined the NextLeap Product Management Fellowship at a time when I genuinely felt lost in terms of direction. I come from a CSE background and was preparing for UPSC CSE, but deep down I knew I was always more curious about technology and products. I had even launched a small startup during my school days, but I didn’t have structured product thinking or clarity on how to approach problems like a product manager.
The fellowship helped me align my thinking. It wasn’t just about learning frameworks, it was about changing how I see problems. One of the biggest lessons for me was this: we shouldn’t design products based on how we want users to behave; we should design around how they actually behave. That shift toward outcome-oriented and user-centric thinking completely changed my approach.
Working on multiple projects, conducting user interviews, running surveys, and doing product teardowns strengthened my user empathy in a real way. I learned how to identify the real problem behind surface-level complaints, how to align product decisions with a company’s vision, and how to think through edge cases logically.
The mentors played a huge role in this journey. Saksham, coming from an SDE background, explained technical concepts in a way that refreshed and strengthened my foundations. The AI sessions were especially exciting because understanding how LLMs work, how companies use AI in workflows, and how to think about model limitations and edge cases increased my curiosity about the AI domain even more. Arindam’s sessions on user empathy, structured problem-solving, and aligning product vision with execution were some of the most impactful for me.
What I didn’t expect was how much the peer environment would help. I was honestly quite underconfident in the beginning. Being surrounded by people who were analytical, experienced, and serious about product pushed me to grow. Collaborating with them and seeing how they approached problems helped me build confidence step by step.
Meha Ma’am’s support during applications and interviews meant a lot to me personally. There were moments when I felt uncertain and low, and her guidance and encouragement helped me stay grounded and move forward. That human support made the experience feel more than just a course.
If you’re someone trying to build strong product foundations, especially if you’re transitioning or figuring things out, this fellowship doesn’t just teach you frameworks. It reshapes how you think. For me, it was a mindset shift as much as a skill-building journey.
It has truly been a transformative experience.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

One of the biggest takeaways for me was learning how to think like a Product Manager, not just how to answer interview questions. The course puts strong emphasis on fundamentals—problem discovery, user pain points, prioritisation, trade-offs, and structured decision-making.
Arindam Sir’s sessions stood out the most. His way of explaining product thinking is very practical and grounded in reality. Instead of jumping straight to solutions, he constantly reinforces:
1. Start with the problem, not the feature
2. Understand who the user is and why the problem matters
3. Be clear about what decision you’re making and what you’re optimising for
4. Think in terms of impact, constraints, and trade-offs, not just ideas
What I appreciated was that the learning wasn’t theoretical. Concepts like user journeys, metrics, prioritisation, and stakeholder alignment were explained with real-world context, making it easier to apply them during interviews and actual product discussions.
Overall, NextLeap gave me a strong foundation in product thinking and helped me become more structured, confident, and intentional in how I approach product problems. I’d especially recommend it to anyone transitioning into Product Management or looking to strengthen their fundamentals.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

They deliver more value than any other PM course in the market at a fraction of their price. The length of the course (4 months) is long enough that the student can learn comfortably, while not dragging out too long like other courses tend to do. Their mentors are well exp PMs itself and they bring valuable insights into the learning. The learning portal has recorded lectures, job portal, quizzes, SQL training, reading material, mock interviewers which is everything a beginner needs to learn about PM. Their placement support is also solid and gives enough opportunities to its top fellows. What truly makes Nextleap stand out is their ongoing support after the course is finished. If I had to give one small piece of improvement to the team, it would be a 1 on 1 review call for every candidate who attempted the graduation project but has not made it to the Top fellows. While parameters like Clarity and depth of though give a high level idea on where their submission might have lacked, its doesn't really give the whole picture on where to improve. A 1 on 1 call, or even a personalized written review for an attempt given by the mentors on why their submission couldn't make it and where to improve, would really help candidates learn and iterate much faster.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support4.0Instructors5.0 -

What surprised me the most was how real the learning felt. Nothing here is passive. No “sit back and watch videos.” You’re constantly thinking, building, fixing mistakes, and getting pushed to do better.
The mentors don’t sugarcoat anything — if your work is weak, they tell you straight. At first it stung, but it ended up being the most helpful part of the program. I actually learned how to think like a PM instead of just memorizing frameworks.
The weekly challenges, product teardowns, and feedback loops forced me to improve fast. By the end, I had a portfolio I was actually proud of — not some generic case study template. It’s not an easy course, and it won’t magically get you a job. But if you’re willing to put in the effort, it genuinely helps you level up your thinking and gives you a clear direction. For me, it was absolutely worth the time and work.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support4.0Instructors4.0 -
