I took the Certificate Program in Applied Generative AI by Johns Hopkins University through Great Learning, and it was extremely valuable both for me and for my business. It gave me a much clearer view of how AI can be applied in industrial environments, engineering services, automation, network diagnostics, and cybersecurity. Intensive data science program with excellent classes by MIT professors, and many practical case studies guided by Great Learning mentors in smaller groups. The program starts with into introductory classes in Python and statistics and then manages to go quite deep into data science, and covers a broad range of data science & AI techniques, both in theory and practice. During my No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions certification time, I was able to learn AI and ML from a very technical point of view, and a bit hands-on Rapid Miner. It's good to study at my once pace, although it requires weekly dedication. Mehak was a very supportive, comprehensive and communicative Program Manager. I recently completed the AI certificate program from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, delivered through Great Learning, and it greatly exceeded my expectations.Great Learning's organization and program leadership stood out immediately. The curriculum was thoughtfully sequenced, building from Python, to applied machine learning, into generative AI and agentic systems in a way that created real, cumulative understanding. Schedules, deadlines, and resources were communicated clearly and well in advance, and the program team was consistently responsive. A lot of care went into structuring the experience so that working professionals could keep pace.The mentors were outstanding. They brought serious technical depth along with the ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and patiently. Their feedback was specific and constructive, and they were generous with their time during live sessions and even "as-needed" during projects. Their help in connecting theory to real-world practice made a meaningful difference in what I retained.The capstone hackathon was the perfect close. I recently completed the Data Science and Machine Learning course with Great Learning, and I am very glad I chose this program.  I was inspired to enroll in the MIT No-Code AI program by my growing interest in leveraging artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems without relying heavily on traditional programming. The AI and Data Science course offered by Great Learning in collaboration with MIT IDSS was phenomenal. They offered a variety of case studies covering multiple domains retail, pharmacy, e-commerce etc. the hands on projects and weekly mentored sessions were extremely helpful in understanding the concepts. The syllabus is rigorous so have to dedicate 15-20 hours per week at a minimum. Wish there was a synopsis of study material at end of each topic. But overall highly satisfied and learned a lot during this 12 week course. Highly recommend it.  Read less

Completing the MIT Applied Data Science and AI Program through Great Learning while balancing a full-time role at Johns Hopkins Medicine and an active PhD program was no small feat — and I genuinely could not have done it without the flexibility and support this platform offers.
I originally enrolled in the October cohort but had to step back when my team at work underwent a major platform migration (Tableau to Power BI), which consumed most of my bandwidth. Rather than leaving me behind, my Program Manager worked with me personally to transition into the January cohort — a level of accommodation I did not expect from an online program.
Even in the new cohort, balancing doctoral coursework, professional responsibilities, and the program remained challenging. My Program Manager continued to check in, offer guidance, and keep me on track until I crossed the finish line.
The curriculum itself is rigorous — covering everything from machine learning fundamentals to deep learning and applied AI. My capstone, a CNN-based malaria cell detection model, achieved 98.92% accuracy, which I’ve since presented in professional and academic settings.
If you’re a working professional or graduate student considering this program, know that Great Learning meets you where you are. The support infrastructure is real, not just marketing language. Read less

I attended this course from February to June 2026 (12 weeks), and I was impressed by the amount of material that was provided throughout the program. The lessons were detailed, and the topics were thoroughly explained and discussed.I found the practical component (python) particularly valuable, as it was extensively reviewed and discussed with the mentor during the lessons. The assessment-based approach helped me stay on track and maintain a steady pace throughout the course.The program also provides additional learning resources that I have not yet had the opportunity to fully explore, but I look forward to doing so in the future.Overall, I am very satisfied with this experience. I recently had the amazing opportunity to take part in the AI and Data Science program with MIT in conjunction with Great Learning, and cannot say enough good things about it.  The courses started from basic python, and made its way up to machine learning algorithms which are used everyday in the field. This structure makes this course welcoming to everyone even if you have no prior programming experience.
The course content is extremely informative and is packed with resources for you to use in order to help you understand the concepts of the material for the week.  Along with that, the projects are real industry problems to solve that allow you to get experience in machine learning, as well as build your portfolio for the future. The Hackathon is the perfect activity to close up the program and it was a great experience to try and test my skills against those of others.  Doing this on a time crunch also helped to simulate what one might experience when trying to deliver solutions in their everyday job.  I would highly encourage anyone who takes this course to take part in this event as it is a one of a kind opportunity.
In addition to the content, the mentors for the mentored learning sessions and optional masterclasses were very knowledgeable and cleared up doubts from any and all students with relative ease.  My mentor in particular, Dewey Bazirake, did a great job not just teaching the material, but trying to involve everyone in the lessons by including discussion questions with every session, and letting students try their hand at explaining some slides with concepts from the previous weeks content.  This allowed me to have a much more in depth learning experience than if i just sat there listening to someone solely read the material.
My program manager, Samarpita, made navigating the program as smooth as possible.  She was always there whenever I had any questions regarding course content, reminding me of due dates of assignments, or just checking up on me every so often to make sure I was doing okay.  The support provided by Great Learning is second to none and takes professionalism and dedication to a whole nother level.
Even after graduating from the program such a short time ago, I can say that the post program support I have experienced so far has been great.  I had one session with Mohammad Raahemi and he gave me some extremely valuable tips and tricks to help perfect my resume and aid me in finding a job in the industry.  I am looking forward to continuing to use the excelerate programs resources to help with in my future endeavors.
Overall, this program was an invaluable experience and I would recommend it to anyone that has any interest in Data Science regardless of your skill level.  If you take the leap, believe me, you will not be disappointed. Read less

I’m fully employed with several side hustles, and the only way I made it through the course was with support from the program manager Samuel, and flexible course logistics (recorded lectures, asynchronous activities). The curriculum is strong and more than helpful for anyone trying to break into the data science field. The lecturers had some of the most impressive backgrounds and they were extremely knowledgeable and insightful.

I am about to complete the No code AI and Machine learning: building data science solution course and I must say the course was quite well structured. I can now understand how AI model works and what are the right parameters to check and the right questions to ask the AI team. What I liked most about the course is the understanding on how domain knowledge has an impact on an AI design. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect when I signed up, but this course has been a great experience. The good part? It's built around no-code AI/ML tools, which makes diving into machine learning so much more accessible.  The course is focused on understanding concepts and solving problems, not getting stuck writing code.
The Sunday mentored sessions kept the learning consistent and structured. Having that dedicated weekly touchpoint to discuss, ask questions, and learn with peers really helps you stay engaged throughout the program.
A big shoutout to Mehak Gupta for being such a proactive support. Whenever we got stuck, she was right there to guide us. 
But the real highlights for me were the hands-on sessions and case studies on KNIME and RapidMiner. Working through real scenarios on these platforms made the technical concepts click in a way that theory alone never could. I went from being completely new to these tools to actually feeling confident exploring them independently.
The mix of structured learning, practical walkthroughs, and solid support is what sets this program apart. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to start AI/ML skills development! Read less
