As the Program Lead within the Data Analytics & Engineering team, I was tasked with delivering a POC for one of the business verticals to enhance decision making using actionable insights and optimize resource utilization. I was looking to upskill myself with a learning course that would not only help add value to my role but also gain a holistic perspective on the data science concepts with a touch of AI/ML. As I was exploring different courses, I stumbled upon this course offered by MIT in tandem with Great Learning and when I reviewed the curriculum, it was exactly what I was looking for! 


The course had a well-defined structure with great content that was ably supported by very insightful lectures. The weekly assessments and the project work deadlines helped with effective time management. The Great Learning team was amazing from the start and throughout the course. They were easily approachable and provided all the support, as needed. This made it so much easier for a working mom like me to be able to balance my priorities across family, work, travel, and studying.


The hands-on piece with the no code tools was very important to me since it clearly aligned with my role where I am a primary liaison between the business stakeholders and the IT team. It enhanced my techno functional perspective to translate the business needs with a right balance of the technical aspects without requiring to code. So, if you are someone like me looking to learn and apply the data science and engineering concepts with AI/ML but do not want to code, I would strongly recommend this course!!

This program has been great. The program does a great job of providing the historical context and evolution of current AI. The focus on data analysis and model creation is very informative and a must have for any aspiring data scientist. The projects and portfolio are great resume builders. Data Science and Machine Learning using AI
I recently completed a comprehensive course on Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI, and it was an excellent learning experience. The course covered a wide range of practical topics — including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and recommendation systems.

One of the most impactful projects I worked on was building a recommendation system to suggest the best Amazon products to users based on past rating data. I also learned to apply algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, and various machine learning model evaluation techniques.

The explanations were clear, the hands-on exercises were engaging, and the real-world datasets helped me understand how these concepts are used in industry. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to build a strong foundation in data science and AI. Read less

This program offers a lot of great materials and in-depth learning experiences. I had struggled to complete other self-paced online AI/ML courses before, but this program provided me with essentials of AI and hands-on experience with Python skills which I lacked. The instructors (Reshma and Nikhil) were very knowledgeable and helpful. I would to acknowledge the program manager (Aditya) for his help and encouragement for me to continue the program to the end. I am impressed by how well this class has been organized: a well-managed combination of prerecorded lectures, mentoring sessions, and attentive online support. The professors have outstanding credentials and are well-informed.  The videos were well-produced, and professors were available on weekends to clear up any outstanding questions. However, what made this course different from other online courses was the Great Learning support staff.  They were highly attentive and remained in constant contact to remind us about deadlines, classes, schedule changes, etc. Even though I was taking a generative AI course, I nonetheless appreciated being able to communicate with human beings on administrative matters.

As a longtime IT professional, it’s been clear to me for the last few decades that higher education institutions must change how they operate or go the way of newspapers and shopping centers. When academic content can travel through a wire at little or no cost, then the question is not whether universities will evolve but how. This class, in terms of content, structure, and support, lives up to JHU’s reputation for excellence and innovation. If this is how higher education evolves, then its future is very encouraging.
