The...I enrolled in BrainStation's software engineering BootCamp with high expectations due to its renowned reputation in the industry. The course has been enjoyable overall, but there are notable aspects that could be improved.
The quality of the experience seems heavily dependent on the instructors. Unfortunately, I've faced challenges in understanding and navigating the course due to inconsistencies in teaching styles. This being my first BootCamp, I'm unsure if this is a common issue or an isolated case.
The expensive tuition fee is a significant factor, and while the program is "okay," I expected more given the cost. The variability in mentor quality within my cohort is also noteworthy. While some mentors go above and beyond to support students, others fall short of expectations and shouldn't be in mentorship roles.
On a positive note, the reason I chose BrainStation was to pursue a lucrative career in technology, allowing me to afford my passion for travel. The challenging nature of the course has been an obstacle, but I remain optimistic about the potential outcomes.

Now, let me tell you, the educators at BrainStation are not just amazing, they're like the rockstars of teaching! I absolutely adore the modern system they've got going on here. We've got not one, but two fantastic teachers, and simultaneously, two awesome TAs ready to help us tackle any questions that pop up. The BrainStation community is a treasure trove of good vibes; everyone is cheering for your success, pushing you to move forward and be your absolute best.
Mornings were all about learning something new, and afternoons, well, sometimes even the whole night for three months straight, were dedicated to putting it all into practice. Brace yourself for some intense nightly study sessions! It was a challenging ride, but oh boy, was it worth it. By the end of the program, you've got the skills – they've packed all the good stuff in there to make you successful. But remember, you've got to bring the effort.
