At 35 years old, I decided to change my path in life and pursue software engineering, as I've always loved computers and I wanted to have a career in tech.

I began searching around trying to decide between a traditional university route or try out one of the online bootcamps I saw for programming. I saw an ad for TripleTen and decided to look into it. After reading a ton of positive reviews I decided to take the first step and reach out to an advisor. I thought I was going to get some sort of automated system or something else, but I got a call from an actual real human being, Oscar, who was super nice, helpful, and not pushy at all. After the call I decided to give TripleTen a go.

I chose the software engineering program because I felt that gave me a good chance at a great career with a good work / life balance, and I wanted to learn how to build websites.

I can't say enough how much the tutors and community managers absolutely make the program amazing. I don't feel at all like a customer, I feel like a student, and whenever I need help I can get it. The discord is also very active and gives you the opportunity to talk to other students as well as tutors.

The program is split between theory and projects. The theory contains tasks and problems to work through as well as quizzes to help you learn the material. The projects are real life websites that you get to build and keep in your portfolio and are an amazing way to actually apply what you're learning, and they get more advanced as you go!

You also get access to career coaches that answer your questions, and can be a great resource for chatting with someone in the industry. Most of the tutors are actual software engineers with real jobs so you have the chance to gain insight from them as well.

Along with that, they have all sorts of resources to take advantage of like seminars about the industry, important changes and information and really a lot more. You can study with other students or take part in challenges, watch videos on tech, and they even have an off topic section on discord where people just post thoughts and funny stuff which really makes it feel like an actual community.

One of the best parts is there is technically no set schedule, the office hours (time with tutors) are scheduled, but they have them spread throughout the day so chances are you will be able to attend at least some of them, and they give you enough time to complete your projects. You can also schedule a 1 on 1 time with a tutor if needed.

The program is not a free certificate either, you really learn and you learn a lot. It's very in depth and I would say be ready to devote real effort to complete it, because they're really trying to prepare you for a real world job where you need technical programming skills. I typically put in 20-30 hours a week into the program, but it doesn't feel overwhelming.

Overall, I would 10 out of 10 recommend TripleTen to someone looking to get into programming and the tech industry, I feel lucky that this is the program I went with. Looking forward to graduate this year! Read less

I started this program because I have a great passion for technology and storytelling. Being in data-driven environments has become quite a normalcy in my day-to-day work in the automotive industry. So I wanted a change; I wanted to work towards becoming an influencer, an advisor, and a storyteller to help leadership make data-driven decisions that mattered. So here I am, in this amazing bootcamp. Currently, I'm halfway through my business intelligence analytics program, and honestly, it's a great feeling. The program has been very interactive, filled with great theory and hands-on exercises that ultimately lead to projects. I don't think I could have found a more effective and affordable program than TripleTen. I left the education field for software engineering and needed a program that would be fairly fast, thorough and affordable. I found all of those things in their SE program. Not including the time I took off, it took me about a year to finish. Just a bit over their projected 10 month timeline. It’s a really supportive community. Having access to zoom office hours and being able to ask tutors questions on discord is super helpful. Even my partner who is a ML/AI engineer of 5 years is impressed with the program and what they teach us. Don’t get me wrong, it is not easy. I hit several walls and felt discouraged at multiple points. That’s where the community comes in. I have connected with fellow students, my success manager is always kind and supportive. The tutors are always understanding and always encourage asking questions. I couldn’t have finished without their help.Even before you graduate you have access to 1-1 meetings with career advisors. They have many seminars and discussions around career advancement as well. Once you graduate then you officially enter their career acceleration program. I feel confident that they will help me be prepared to land a job. While I doubt it will come to this, I still feel reassured that I can get my money back if I haven’t landed something after 6 months in their career program. Overall it's been really empowering to go from knowing nothing of coding to now being eligible for full-stack software engineering roles. It’s clear that there will always be more learning in this field. Technologies, coding languages, and systems are always changing and improving. But I’m excited to keep learning. I have a great foundation and I’m ready to keep going.Through the program, I have learned to enjoy coding. The attention to detail and ability to be creative is super stimulating to me. I wanted to pursue QA engineering due to a passion for software cultivated from my previous job as a quality operations consultant for software in automated vehicles. With such, I gained interest in ensuring that software can deliver expectations and beyond to its users. However, my previous job experience, while dipping into the domain of quality assurance, used specialized techniques and processes. I wanted to gain proper guidance and mentorship in learning quality assurance, especially learning industry standards and best practices. 

I chose TripleTen due to outstanding reviews from various sites. I also perused the offers of career support, access to a community of aspiring learners, and externships. These offerings made TripleTen stand out for me, and ultimately, I chose TripleTen as my boot camp. Nearing the end of my learning journey, it is sufficient to say I do not regret choosing TripleTen one bit. I love the interactive learning platform with the various articles and activities to learn from. The projects were stellar, and I learned so much from the application. It was easy to get help from the staff, whether it be technical support or help in theory or projects. It was also fun to connect and learn with the other students in the Discord community. I became interested in coding and software engineering about a year ago, shortly after I found TripleTen. I booked a call and got to learn a lot about it, and I knew I had made the right choice. I started in TripleTen in mid October of last year and in the short time I've been a student I learned so much. I didn't just learn how to code but I learned time management, life balance, how to prioritize what's most important, and most importantly how to take care of myself and what matters to me. During my time at TripleTen I've unfortunately been sick a couple times in which the TripleTen team was extremely understanding and organized extensions and encouraged me to take time off if I ever needed it. I’m very satisfied with my Tripleten experience! Not only am I learning about a field I have no experience in, I am gaining confidence in the field and readying myself for the next chapter in my career.

I am an older student (almost 50) but the coursework is explained in a way that is perfect for those without much coding experience. I was apprehensive at first but am now confident in my ability to learn coding and analytics.

I researched a variety of bootcamps looking for one that would give me the better bang for my buck. Let's be real, it's hard out there. It is definitely worth it. At first, it was rough, especially since I had no background on coding. My success manager made sure to reassure me that there are tools out there for help and pointed me in the right direction. There are tutors to help, fellow students, AI help, all you need is to bring your best intentions to succeed. I use the knowledge base section on the platform a lot to practice my skills. The recommended time per week to invest on your education is at least 10 hours. You can put in more work, if you have the time. I put in about 10-12 and still manage to maintain myself ahead. My only negative comment is that I am a visual learner, and a few of the chapters were harder on me, because I could not visualize the information provided. I do rely more on the workshops and AI to visualize the topics covered, as well as practice AD nauseum. I have learned vital information to my future career as a Business Intelligence Analyst, I have no doubt I made the right choice.  Read less

Nearing the end of 2023, I found myself growing increasingly disheartened by the trajectory of my career as a Social Worker. While I love Social Work and have a lot of respect for the field, I came to accept I didn't see myself being fulfilled in a long-term career as a Social Worker. In my dismay, I brainstormed what else I might do, as I had already made a major career switch from the Fashion Industry to Social Work, and now... I wasn't sure! What I did know, is that I want a career in which I can channel my wide array of skills, that translates across industries, and makes a tangible impact. Weirdly enough, I also have a side gig doing data entry, and as cheesy as it sounds, I have developed a serious appreciation for a well-kept database. I started searching ways to combine my desire to solve gaps with my enthusiasm for data so that I could find a way to once again feel energized by my work, and like I was making a difference. A simple web search led me to TripleTen's website, where I discovered an array of data-focused paths. The BI Analyst program immediately resonated with me, especially given the glowing reviews and the program's commitment to helping you find a job in your chosen program. That gave me all the confidence I needed to enroll.
I can confidently say that my learning journey has exceeded my initial expectations. As someone balancing two jobs with a career transition, the self-paced format of the course has been incredibly convenient. Additionally, the suggested timeline in the learning platform for completing lessons has been crucial in holding me accountable to stay on track. While the projects have been challenging, especially for a beginner like myself, I appreciate the opportunity they afford me to gain the critical skills I need for my career goals. And, I've been fully supported in the process. When I'm working at 11pm and run into an obstacle, the readily available assistance on Discord and recorded workshops have been instrumental in helping me move through the program. The lesson activities reflect real-life business problems, so I feel like I am gaining the insight needed to not only perform the technical tasks but demonstrate to a recruiter I know how to anticipate and solve business problems. Additionally, the applications used in the BI Analyst program match up with the experience requirements for all the jobs I see. The code reviewer's feedback on my projects has also given me confidence that I am becoming competent in these skills. 

Moreover, my success manager has been proactive in making sure I receive the full value of the program by regularly checking in, addressing questions/concerns, connecting me to the right resources, and discussing my career goals. I truly feel that the TripleTen team cares about my success. Even in an online environment, there is sense of camaraderie among the network of professionals and students associated with TripleTen. I can clearly see their collective passion for the data field and eagerness to support aspiring data professionals. 

To anyone considering in TripleTen, I'd say run, don't walk! I wholeheartedly recommend taking the leap. Just be aware, it's essential to approach this journey with a growth-mindset, as the work is no cake walk. Embracing challenges is the mechanism to personal and professional growth in any field. I ran into an Add on IG about 6 - 7 months ago right when I was thinking on doing a career change. What I saw immediately called my attention and I knew it would be a perfect match for me. Its hard to explain but it was what I was looking for. I booked a call and obtain more information about the program and what called my attention the most was how well it seem to be structured and the confidence when I was told after graduating if I didn't get a Job I'd get my money back. It almost sounded too good to be true. At the time it was exactly the best time for me to get going with the program so the recruiter offered to follow up 2 months after to see if the time was right. I pretty much went full research mode those 2 months and couldn't find one single reason not to join Tripleten. Everything just seem so much better than any other online school out there and yet very affordable.
Once I started I quickly realized I picked the right one.
The learning process is very entertaining and even feels playful and fun while keeping the professionalism you would expect. My initial plan was to dedicate between 10 and 15 hours a week and I will admit at times it was tough because you know, work, family (I have 2 kids), life in general... but even then I still found ways to stay on track and not fall behind. I owe that to the instructors, tutors and well the whole Tripleten community. It is a very supportive community I have to say, probably one of the thing I loved the most once I got going.
The Projects are fully relatable to the material you learn. They are challenging enough to push you but not to break you, and if for whatever reason you cant seem to figure it out, there's always someone available to help. Your success manager will reach out here and there to check on you and your progress. Overall to make sure you are still on track to succeed and if you are not, to get you back on track.
I am a Chemical formulations group leader for a Biotech company, so manufacturing and even though I'm a little tech-savvy, not in a million years I thought i would be able to learn coding with such ease. It makes you look at everything in such a different perspective and honestly it boosted my confidence even more. Since day 1 I knew I wanted this but then I told myself, "Ok, now I know I can absolutely do this". It doesn't matter how things turn out, at the end I will walk out of this with so many more options to succeed and provide everything a father wants to provide to his family. I swear i look at everything different now and often find myself breaking things down in an analytical way, for no reason, its almost a little mental game at this point.
The one advise I can give people is to not overthink things to much. Sometimes we are our worst enemies and our biggest obstacles. Many times I found myself lost on a project and it was because I was not looking at what was presented to me, I was too worried about the more complex equations or codes and would end up mixing things up in my head. Once I got over that things got so much easier to process. I guess what we need to understand is that just because we don't know something or are not experts on something doesn't mean that something will be harder to learn and master than any other stuff we have conquered in the past. First we crawl, then we walk, then we run, then we jump and then we can do all 4 plus more.
Another little advise is that you should do all the research you need to do prior to joining Tripleten so you fully understand who they are, how they work and how they will help you get to where you want to get. Once you decide to join, step on the gas and don't let go. The worst thin you can do is to start and take long breaks in between. Remember this is a new journey, everything you will encounter is expected to be new to you and the only way you will get better is with constant practice. Have a plan and stick to that plan. It will be over sooner than what you think. 4 - 5 months will go by and you wont even notice. And don't be afraid to reach out to tutors or even your success manager, they are there to support you!

TripleTen has been a rewarding experience for me. When I was first looking for something different to do in a career, I researched a lot of different bootcamps. I honestly didn't know what I wanted to do. I had been wanting something that would give me access to work remote and have flexible hours, I have a daughter that I love to spend time with. I came across TripleTen by an Ad on IG. I decided to look more into it. Originally, I was going to take the Business Analytics course as I have been a Finance Manager before and it was only 4 months. After taking the quiz I realized Data Science was the way to go. Over the past few months, it has been challenging but very rewarding. I love the interactive platforms; the projects are hard BUT the access to previous questions asked by other graduates and tutors makes completing the task doable. I am a few projects from finishing, and I cannot wait to see what I can get next. I recommend this to my friends any chance I get. If I could give advice to anyone, I would say don’t give up and if you don’t know, ASK. Someone is always willing to provide help when needed.

I just graduated from the program and I am fully satisfied with everything I learned. I came to the QA program not knowing much, and I definitely gained valuable skills for the job. I appreciated that there were 9 different projects to work on, I was able to practice everything (from testing fundamentals to test automation). The fact that I couldn't get away with doing just bare minimum was great, project reviewers didn't just look at my project, but paid attention to every detail and send my projects back to improve, so I have a full confidence that people who graduate from TripleTen know how to do things, they didn't just click through the slides. When I had questions, I was able to ask tutors for help - that was nice. The course materials could be confusing sometimes, sometimes I felt lost, but when I got to the projects- I actually was able to figure things out. It was definitely helpful that I studied JavaScript before. I am not sure if the course materials were enough to understand what's going on with JavaScript if you are a beginner. But I am sure that even beginners could get enough help from tutors. If you feel stuck- you can always talk to your success manager - they will help you out. I can't imagine a situation when a student is told "well, figure it out on your own". 
What's was also important for me is the ability to participate in some kind of real world projects and I was at first skeptical that TripleTen would offer one - I thought it was just marketing. But no... I put my name in the waitlist and I have an externship scheduled for April!!! So that's cool. Because we know it's hard to get experience when you have no experience. 
Career support and coaching is great. I haven't fully finished the career portion of the program, but they give you so much support since day one, so I have zero doubts that I will be helped.

So, overall, I am very happy with my decision to join the program. Definitely was worth the money. I plan on developing more skills and learning more stuff for sure, otherwise it's really hard to compete with others. But TripleTen is a great start.  Read less

I began learning how to code on my own, with the pursuit of starting a tech business. When I began learning JavaScript I just didn't know what I was doing and if whether or not I was doing it right. I lacked a feedback loop and a reviewer to give me information on whether or not my code was best practice or not. I chose TripleTen not just because you could pay partial up front and then you don't have to pay again until you find your first job. 

I chose them because of the curriculum, I enjoyed the idea of being so proficient in the language that gave me such a hard time as a self learner, that I could use it for Frontend and Backend using Node.js. The TripleTen path was for me the quickest route to obtaining the skills that I needed to reach my goal. I spend roughly 30+ hours per week on the platform going through the sprints which are created in a way to bring you from no knowledge up to a Software Engineer! My favorite activities within TripleTen is participating within their neat independent coding challenges, as well as taking advantage of the 1 to 1 tutor Office hours. 

TripleTen has helped me feel more confident in my ability to code in general. They've helped me refine the knowledge I came in with (which looking back on it was very little!) as well as expand my view on everything else that comes with being a Software Engineer not just coding, other important factors like networking and resume advice. For those of you who are thinking this of this oppurtunity as something you missed out on/too late for you start, or it being to risky. I have a quote for you that helps me make decisions, "Most people tip toe through life, hoping they make it safely to death." -Earl Nightingale. Thinking about it like that you realize it's a losing game, you only have one life make the most of it! 

Useful tips for those of you who are starting your journey. There will be times where you struggle embrace those times that's where the learning happens, feeling frustrated is completely normal and taking breaks away from it is extemely recommended. For me when I encounter a problem I try and figure it out. If I've tried everything I take a break, go on a walk, read, garden do anything then come back to it usually thats the answer to majority of your problems. If you still are encountering problems then talk with your tutors! They are very knowledgable and will guide you in a way where that caliber of problem won't give you such a hard time the next time you recieve it. Read less

I was halfway into my health science degree when the stress started to take its toll on me. Things did not go according to plan, so I had to reconsider my career choices. I stumbled across an advertisement for TripleTen on social media and was intrigued by a career quiz. I have always wanted to learn more about coding, but I did not know where to start since I did not have any technical experience. The career quiz eased all the confusion and uncertainty that I was feeling.

The website is easy to use and has the essential information I need to understand what I am signing up for. This means even before I contacted someone, I was halfway to making up my mind.

I chose to take the Quality Assurance Engineer program among the others that TripleTen offers because it was closely aligned with my previous work experience. I figured this course would be a good way to get started in the tech field. 

I love the structure of the program. The materials are split into a series of sprints, and at the end of each, I get to apply what I learned in a hands-on project. It has enhanced the learning experience for me. The program is self-paced requiring about 15 to 20 hours of my time a week. It is designed to be flexible, which is ideal and is exactly what I needed. 

One of the things I like the most about TripleTen is the support and the community they have built. They have Success Managers who will help with anything that needs to be done throughout the course. Tutors are available to answer any questions on theories and projects. Career coaches who offer frequent webinars and one-on-ones, providing all the tips and guidance to be job-ready by the end of all this. To top it all off, after completing the program, there is an externship opportunity and career support to ensure success in landing a job. It cannot get any better than that!

I have a few more months to go but I have truly been enjoying this experience so far. I am extremely excited about the new skills that I will be acquiring and I cannot wait to start a new career!  Read less

To start I wanted to change careers into something I felt more passionate about and feel like I had a talent for. I was looking at many different programs and career choices and decided on data/ business analytics. I felt that the problem-solving element of the work was the right choice for me and how I think and analyze things. I decided to go with Triple Ten for several reasons, including the pricing of the course and the structure of the program. I felt that Triple Ten was the right choice and decided to move forward with it. I was happy to discover the format of the program and the dashboards were easy to understand and navigate as well as inspired me to continue learning. I spent about 10 hours a week learning the materials and completing the work. The final projects were intuitive and challenging but also reflected the course work, preparing me for further as a business intelligence analyst in today's job market.  I enjoyed the final project because it allowed me the creativity to pursue what I found the most interesting using the tools that I felt most comfortable with. I thought the reviews by the instructors were comprehensive in the core and helped me work out the kinks in my way of thinking so that it best aligns with how a business analyst should be thinking. While I think there were some things I found very intuitive because of my personality and experiences, there was so much to learn about the tech stacks as well as a transition in the way I think about business problems. Some advice I have for people just starting on their journey whether it is with Triple Ten or otherwise would be to be patient with yourself because there is much to learn. I began looking into TripleTen in August of 2023. The first thing that really hooked me to this program was that a real person called me to talk about the program. It made TripleTen really stand out to me compared to other bootcamps I looked into. I also really liked how TripleTen includes career programs, because that was one of the biggest things I was worried about with starting this career path. While you are working on the sprints, there are chapters specifically made to help you succeed outside of the program. For Example, one chapter was just a guide on how to set up your LinkedIn profile to get more attention and be seen by more recruiters. They also give you tips on interviews, how to work as a good team member, and many more topics like this that I feel that I wouldn't have gotten through other bootcamps. One of the biggest things I have learned through TripleTen is its not easy. Your going to have hard times and you're going to get stuck somewhere, but I have never felt alone during the whole process. The tutors and success mangers are always checking up on you and are always there when you need some help, they are amazing! Early 2023 i had decided i wanted to pursue Jobs in the tech industry specifically software Engineering so i had started looking into education this way i could pursue this goal of mine. I spent a few months doing my research on all types of education until i found TripleTen. I started reading reviews from graduates and quickly learned that all types of people from a wide range of industries and even across the world people had nothing, but amazing things to say about the boot camp. It didn't stop there i absolutely loved the fact that they believed in the course so deeply that If it takes longer than 6 months to get the job you trained for, they will refund 100% of your tuition on top of that the high 87% of graduates get hired in 6 month or less. I was sold and within a few days i applied with the boot camp and i had a 1 on 1 phone call with an admissions advisor and BOOM i was enrolled and thus my journey into the techfield began.

It was daunting at first, but as i eased in to a program while working a full time job i quickly began my study routine which consisted of 4 hours on the weekdays and i like taking the weekends off (with some light studying and re-reviewing theory on the platform). The first 1-3 sprints the online platform is very interactive and i enjoy a lot of the work task within the theory of the sprints it's interactive and extremely informative, but the best part is if you have any questions or you don't feel confident in the theory theres always a tutor or even fellow senior students that are willing to help or clear things up for you. From time to time i like to part take when time allows in the group study sessions it's a great environment when you have people with common goals which usually consist of 20 minutes of studying and 10 minutes of a short break it creates a nice work flow.  I am currently in my 8th sprint learning the principles and application of OOP and oh boy is it difficult, but never fear community tutor hours are here! The community tutor hours consist of multiple students in a call and a community effort to help each other out on a issue your having. Although this current sprint im on is difficult i know theres somebody inside the community wether it's a tutor/senior student that can clear up any questions or issues i may have. My journey into tech is still beginning and i'm here to see it all the way through and i can't wait to keep learning and being involved in this awesome community.

TripleTen not only teaches you the technical skills that are required to get inside the tech field, but also the soft skills within the sprints theres always a chapter within the theory that has nuggets of wisdom. They can range from interview skills, networking, resume/ CV advice i always make sure to review these little nuggets every once in a while so i can impliment them once i become job ready which is coming up soon! If theres any advice that i could give to anyone that wants to start the Software Engineering course is that take it slow and easy, don't get discouraged when it comes to making errors. They will help you learn in the long term so just keep pushing!

After some life changes, I contemplated switching industries/careers to support my family. I stumbled on a TripleTen ad, and although it was scary to consider change, I'm glad I took the plunge. I took their career quiz which paired me with the Business Intelligence Analyst program and they have a free SQL program you can take before committing. Everyone from TripleTen from the beginning has been helpful and understand, not pushy about getting you to sign up. What really sold me was the flexibility of the program - although there is a loose structure, you can work the program around your schedule as needed. They were also very accommodating when I asked for time off to spend with my newborn.

Overall, the program is paced well, and easy to follow, albeit some lessons/sprints could use a little more polish and additional clarification of the subject matter. The heart of the program is within its Discord server, where you can easily and quickly connect with tutors, coaches, and other students/alumni. You should never feel alone with as there is always support available.

Starting up in tech in this day and age is really important.  My experience at Triple Ten has made me more confident than ever before.  I decided that I wanted to take the route of being a Quality Assurance Engineer.  It started off with me making the right choice for my tuition and what sold me is the money back guarantee.  I networked on LinkedIn to get a feel for the course from other graduates and they were phenomenal and spot on.  I applied and was able to start within the next couple of weeks with my first course.  Each lesson and course is a challenge and definitely requires patience and dedication.  The tutors were absolutely amazing in helping me to understand things I was uncertain of and very patient with someone new joining to deep dive in tech.  I had many questions and the sprints in the lesson help you get a clear understanding of the course.  The projects are built to give you practice and must pass before you move on forward the next course.  They teach you verbiage, foundations even to automation. Once you pass the lessons you get your certificate for what you’ve mastered, and at the end your  certification for passing the course. All in all it’s self paced but should finish within 5-6 months.
