A Journey of Growth and Skill-Building

I've spent several years working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments like TV production and live news, but earlier this year, I decided to pivot, not because I was running from something, but because I was running toward something new: tech. In February, I enrolled in TripleTen’s Software Quality Assurance Bootcamp, and it has been one of the most rewarding professional decisions I’ve made.

From the very beginning, TripleTen has supported me. My learning coach has been incredibly responsive, and encouraging. It genuinely makes a difference when someone is in your corner who wants you to succeed as much as you do. Whether I had questions about a tough technical concept or needed help unblocking a project, my learning coach was there. And whenever I had questions about projects or assignments I could always turn to the tutors and people on discord.  They are very responsive and always helped me when I was stuck on a task.

My career coach has been helpful as well. She has changed my perspective when it comes to networking and finding a new job.  She helped me reframe my unique background in media, fitness, and education as an asset in my transition into tech.

One of the things I appreciate most about the program at TripleTen is that it is flexible enough to fit into a busy schedule, but structured enough to hold you accountable. The curriculum covers a wide range of relevant, industry-ready skills. For someone like me who thrives on process, this hands-on approach really clicked. Of course, like any program, you get out what you put in. There were challenging moments, especially early on but the more I leaned into the material, practiced consistently, and asked questions, the more I realized how much I was actually growing. One of the best feelings is when you finally get over the learning curve and start to grasp the content. Once you start to see your potential, it's going to push you and motivate you to keep going.

TripleTen helped me shift my mindset from someone who was “just starting out” to someone who is already capable of making an impact. I highly recommend TripleTen to anyone considering a move into tech. The worst that can happen? You walk away with valuable skills that will stick with you for life... skills that make you think more critically, collaborate more effectively, and adapt more quickly. That’s not a loss. That’s an investment! If you're willing to apply yourself, stay curious, and lean into the process, I truly believe you'll succeed. This program is not just about getting a job. It's about becoming someone who's ready for one. And thanks to TripleTen, I’m well on my way.

    Practicum/TripleTen Experience

I started this journey in January 2023 and officially started in the Summer2023 cause I was getting my licenses in real estate and insurance during the spring months during work time... Hard to say a year passed almost the second year (2025) and I am 4 sprints away from graduation ... I came from a biology major and chemistry minor degree back in 2014 and had experiences in grad school as a SPT student in Andrews DPT program and later a student in Herzing University and Resurrection/Oakpoint University. all this schools taught me that the school will do whatever it takes to keep their institution running and will keep students that gives them the most honor and respect with no regard to the student's religion, race, gender or academic struggles. But as I completed the AWS re/start program with Per Scholas in 2022, I learned how to use AWS key features to run their site as a Certified Cloud practitionar  and later drawn me to Practicum that coming January. I started with an interest to design my own website for my movie collection but tripleten taught me a lot from scratch on HTML, CSS, BEM, the DOM, Java, JS, react, mongoDB, and much more .
as I continue this journey, I want to encourage others to venture into this field as it is booming in our current world AS EVERYONE relies on their mobile device and the need for Apps and AI are increasingly popular.

Not helpful to find a job

A little over a month ago, I graduated from the Quality Assurance course at TripleTen. Since then, I’ve started my job search, but so far I haven’t had any luck. I’ve received several emails declining my application, saying they’re moving forward with other candidates, but not a single phone call for an interview.
So far, I haven’t found the tools provided by TripleTen to be useful—these are things I can do on my own. I applied to the Externship program a while ago, and the response was that there’s a waiting list and I just have to keep waiting. I don’t know for how long, or where I stand on that list, so I have no idea of my position.
I feel frustrated because most job postings require experience that I don’t have, and there’s no one to help me with that. For the Money-Back Guarantee program, I’m required to attend meetings that are supposed to help me find a job, but the information can easily be found on the internet. All it does is waste time without offering real alternatives like networking opportunities or connections to companies that are hiring. We’re expected to do everything on our own

Hi, This is Natasha from the TripleTen team. Thank you for sharing your feedback and for being open about your experience. We understand how challenging the job search process can be, especially early on, and we’re sorry to hear that you’re feeling frustrated. During regular meetings with our career team, students can not only work on their resume and job search strategies, but also review their application funnels to better understand why they might be facing rejections and how they can adjust their strategy to improve their chances of landing interviews. Additionally, we're testing a new service and introducing placement coordinators, who build relationships with employers to help connect graduates with companies. This makes it easier for graduates to gain direct access to hiring managers and secure interview invitations more quickly. We’re also actively working on reducing externship wait times by engaging new companies and projects, and we expect to eliminate the waitlist in the near future — so that all our graduates can add a new project to their portfolio. Our team is here to help you, and we'd love to connect directly to better understand your situation and explore how we can assist you further. Please reach out to me directly at natashak@tripleten.com, and we can discuss next steps. Thanks, Natasha.

    Work in Progress

The Software Engineering program is still evolving; while you'll encounter some valuable learning experiences, certain concepts may not be communicated clearly. The community is somewhat lacking, and the environment isn’t particularly welcoming. Some staff can be pushy and unprofessional, especially regarding referrals. This bootcamp is best suited for those who are independent learners and can handle a bit of pressure.

TripleTen - software Web development bootcamp

I'm working on the final project for the Tripleten web development boot camp, and I must say it was a transformative experience. From the comprehensive curriculum to the dedicated tutors, this boot camp exceeded my expectations in every way.  One of the standout aspects of this bootcamp was the hands-on learning approach where I was actively engaged in coding exercises, projects, and coding competitions. This immersive learning environment not only reinforced theoretical concepts but also equipped me with practical skills that are directly applicable to the industry.  I had the opportunity to collaborate with fellow students, participate in group projects, and network with industry professionals. The course offers learning experience in sprints which is very helpful to become more proficient in delivering projects on time and achieving success in your endeavors.

Challenging and helps enhance skill set

A good, rigorous bootcamp that teaches new concepts, brushes up python skills and prepares for real time projects. A very supportive team of instructors and community managers/members who are always there to clarify doubts, questions and make it a smooth learning process. Some of the lessons and projects are pretty tough to understand and complete and can cause frustration, but they are ultimately acting as stepping stones to success.

    Great for practice!

I've passed the introductory course so far and my experience with Yandex is great! I know the company Yandex itself as good and trustful company.
I was looking for boot camps for a while and found Yandex as a good choice for me. I found their interactive platform good for me. I don't like a long lasting boring lectures and practicing is perfect for me. The platform is really good for learning and seems like they made a huge job to create it as it's now.
The community and tutors need extra mentioning. Community is very good and friendly. Tutors and Community manager are really funny and helpful guys and respond to your messages in a minutes!
Also the price is lower than in other platform, which is good and, honestly, too cheap for this product, especially with guaranteed job assistance!

I really liked my first experience with Yandex Practicum so far and will probably add a review in the end of the course!

    Full Web Development Course

This is simply the best course for Web Wevelopment I have come across. It has a 20-hour free introductory course perfect to get a taste of it. Its content is remarkably engaging and practical from second one, and the price of its full course is unmatched by any bootcamps out there. Furthermore, it even offers assistance in job seeking after its completion, so it just couldn't be more complete.

So far I have only done the intro course. The following is a summary of my feedback

    Liked:
    • Cheatsheets
    • Course & Lesson progression is done well
    • Conceptual graphics
    • Lesson Overviews(before) and Summaries/Review(after)

    Disliked:
    • The “Next” button -> Please~! separate the “Check” and “Next” button OR hide the next task(s) until the user clicks on the “Next” button!!!
      • I have had to start over multiple times after losing a lot of solutions to the next task because of this
    • Lesson content (not structure)
      • Although I felt that some lessons had too much information in them, I was still able to complete the tasks. My suggestion is one that I feel 50/50 about. That is to separate lessons - one lesson for new concepts,  another for the application of that concept using data.

    Extra:
    • Virtual flashcards with concepts on cheatsheet and other things that would be useful to quiz yourself
    • Pomodoro to set focused study time and breaks in intervals
