I ran away from sales over twenty years ago like my hair was on fire after a few negative experiences, and I vowed never to return. I was left with the all-too-common impression that sales was...you know...sales-y. Dishonest and a little gross. Back then, it was all about ice-cold calls and talking fast instead of focusing on solving problems and understanding customers' needs...not to mention our lead generation method consisted of opening up the Yellow Pages.* I do not regret my journey away from that world in the least, but I'm sure glad to be back. Things have changed!

Prior to signing up, I had been looking for opportunities for a while. I even tried on a few flashy "hustler" hats along the way. What I came to realize is that whereas I have a unique professional background, plenty of personality, and life experience up the wazoo, what I lacked was relevant and up-to-date skills. I didn't even know what I didn't know, and I had no idea where to start. That was a tough pill to swallow.
 
Joshua's extensive experience in sales is second-to-none, and sharing it awakened the ambitious part of myself that I put to rest so long ago, opening new and bright opportunities that were 100% out of reach until recently. The tools and methods he provides are invaluable...as is the growing network of preHIRED members, an unexpected bonus that I wish I had engaged sooner. 

If I had to choose a favorite part of the program, it would be Joshua's humor. The material is extensive and even overwhelming at times, but keeping it light in the right places kept me engaged. I also enjoyed learning about the various tools that salespeople benefit from today. They don't know how good they got it!

To anyone considering the program, my advice is to ask yourself some hard questions and be honest with yourself. It's not easy and takes more commitment than you'd expect. My other advice is to make sure you have all of the right hardware - in good working order - before you start. One little hiccup can cost you precious time. Also, do NOT be shy about reaching out to your mentor or other members when you feel lost.

I am grateful for this challenge and for the doors it has opened up.

* The Yellow Pages were actual yellow-colored business pages in the actual physical Phone Book that was delivered to your doorstep every year...way back in the olden days. Good times. 

I took courses with preHIRED, in which i was Certified as a Science-Based® Sales Analyst. I love the program it taught me a countless number of skills that I will not only carry on in my career but also in life. I joined preHIRED with no formal sales background or training. I have sold some products and generally have a bunch of business experience but I have never been in a direct sales role. Before joining preHIRED, I was having trouble managing the crazy amount of work I was responsible for as a full-timer in marketing and operations. I joined preHIRED's program in an effort to focus on one particular skill so that I can reduce my time engaged with work and offer me the ability to enjoy some work/life balance. I decided less pay initially was worth the higher ceiling. preHIRED initially struck me as 'just another online course' but I couldn't figure out how they had so many success stories. After receiving a call from Andrew the next morning, and a reach out from my new mentor later that day, I was quite impressed by the level of engagement. I decided to dip my toes as I felt there was manageable risk. I quickly consumed the first quarter of the program and didnt look back. My mentor and the Science-Based Sales methodology, in general, are what hooked me on the program. Now that I am finished, I am ready to DESTROY my 1, 3, and 5-year goals. There is now a clear plan and path ahead where before I struggled to find my own free time. If you are granted admission into preHIRED, consider yourself lucky, take that opportunity and RUN! Before the preHired course I had no sales training. And after a few careers spanning 20+ years in the IT field and general retail. I decided I needed a change into something that interested me and had the potential of making some real money.

When I first heard of prehired I honestly thought it was a scam. But after researching the company. And reading the reviews like this one. I decided I'd try it out. Because of the great opportunity it seemed to be. 

I liked the fact that the system was all online and because of my work schedule I could do the assignments when possible. The lead generation and sales automation tools that I will be using everyday in my new role also worked great in finding opportunities. 

I just got certified 1 day ago, submitted only 3 applications so far and already have 2 meetings scheduled. I'm super psyched about my future as an SDR.

I previously had no sales experience. My past jobs were in the food industry and the Nightclub business.
I was sick of working jobs where I wasnt being paid enough. I know with my personality and experience past side ventures I knew I could succeed in sales.

It is always hard getting your foot in the door especially without experience. So being trained in by an experienced sales team would give me the formal training I needed.
I had doubts, because there is so much trash on the internet and scams. When I first heard of preHIRED I honestly believed it was a scam, but I have learned alot and I am glad I followed through.
I liked the step by step and in detail videos showing me how to use certain CRMs and programs that would have been kind of difficult to use.
Also the group on Slack is great. It helps alot being able to converse with other preHIRED members. Also I loved how the leaders of the program are so responsive even through 
they are busy themselves. To anyone considering signing up for the PreHIRED course..
I would say go for it. if you are looking to make a change in your life this is a great path to take.

Before my time at preHIRED I spent my young career running the day-to-day sales operations at a small tech-enabled real estate start up in downtown Chicago. My dream was to get into B2B Tech Sales and I knew i lacked a technical skill gap I needed to bridge to get into the industry.

I’ve spent a few years in Sales in the past. However, that was quite a while ago and I felt that I had lost my edge.

I’ve been running my own Tech Consulting firm but my sales skills had been pretty weak and I felt really restricted by the small town that I live in. I was also considering getting a job again.

When I came across preHired it really grabbed my interest because I saw that they could teach me to sell my services anywhere in the US and also land me a job if I decided to go that way.

Before preHIRED I didn’t have a sales background. I was in a career change coming from the healthcare field as a medical assistant/patient service representative. I wanted a different path in life with a new career in sales that can generate more income to support my family and great opportunities for growth within a company.

When I first learned preHIRED, I wasn’t sure if this was the right path. I didn’t know what kind of sales training I was getting myself into and if I would ever be good at this. So I took a risk, a good risk, and gave preHIRED a chance to see where they can help me and be successful.
