I was wary at first because the price of this bootcamp is much cheaper than most, but after completing the first four weeks of the HTML, CSS, Javascript fundamentals course, I feel very confident with my new skills, and I can actually put them to use. The first reason I chose Nucamp is because they're the only coding school that currently remains operational during the pandemic in Hawaii that's not on semester system.  The second reason I chose them is because the flexibility, meeting only once a week allows maximum time to study on your own.  The third reason I chose them is the price.  Some school charges a premium on the same material taught, so it makes it hard to commit because you just don't know if you can understand and obtain the knowledge.  But I think I can do it with more practice to get ready for the next step.  Thank you for the entire Nucamp staff and instructor, you guys are changing the landscape of web development, one student at a time! After extensive search for the right bootcamp for me and reading many reviews I realized that like many people were saying: you get out of your bootcamp whatever you put into it. Which means that paying over 10K for a bootcamp does not mean you will come out a job ready developer. I needed something affordable and part time that will fit with the schedule of a working adult. This is where Nucamp came in. It had exactly what I was looking for and had great reviews. I signed up for the fundamentals course first and I just finished it! Super proud of it too as I had no coding or technical background/experience. I am continuing with the Full Stack bootcamp in about a month. For everybody who is looking to switch careers and have no prior coding knowledge - try this 4 weeks course. It will give you a good idea if this is for you and if you enjoy it. For everyone keep in mind that the pace is fast and you need to put in a lot of additional studying and research. I had decided to commit and went to working PT instead of FT so I can study more and when it came time for JavaScript I felt that even that free time that I had was not enough. But everyone is different and retains new material differently. Our group was small and it allowed our instructor to provide help for each of us when we needed it. Also in the Nucamp slack channel you will always get some answers and help. Nucamp has created a great community of people who do the best to help each other out. 
A typical week consist of short video lessons with a lot of examples and exercises for you to try. There is also a quiz at the end of every week. You are given clear and detailed instructions how to do things. On Saturday there is a 4 hour workshop via zoom with your instructor and the fellow students in your group. You go over the week's material and then work together on the workshop assignment. I actually enjoyed the fact that it is fully online and I am able to do it from the comfort of my home without having to commute anywhere.
Overall I am very satisfied with this Fundamentals Course in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and will definitely recommend it.  Read less

The instructors at Nucamp are always available whenever you have any questions. They provide you with very knowledgeable and professional instructors that truly want you to succeed. Everyone is extremely  helpful. Although it's up to you to do the work you are never alone when you need  assistance. And all this with a fraction of what other coding bootcamps are charging. What I like most was the convenience of working in Teams and the knowledge of the instructor. Nucamp Boot Camp is a great starting place for any one wanting to learn how  to use Html and Java .These last four weeks was challenging. I choose Nucamp because it provided the curriculum and support necessary to allow you to learn the skills necessary to be successful in the Web Development field.   It was fast paced and demanding but flexible enough to allow you to learn at your own pace.  Also, the price is  the best among all bootcamps and you definitely get more  value than you what you pay for.  If you are looking for a place to help you grow in the world of Web Development and have the drive and commitment, then Nucamp is highly recommended to assist you on your journey without breaking your bank account.  Read less

I'm glad I chose Nucamp because it is convenient and I am able to work remotely.  It is also very affordable compared to other bootcamps that I researched.  I wanted to find a way to learn coding while also being able to still fulfill my family responsibilities and make sure it did not have an impact on my current job.  The main thing I learned is that Nucamp gives you the knowledge and projects to practice what you learn.  But it is the responsibility of the student to practice, practice, practice.  The only way all of this information will make sense is to continue to practice writing code and researching the topics that you are still trying to understand.  But Nucamp is a good and affordable place to start learning to write code. Amazing bootcamp! For the price you really do get so much value, and you get all of the tools to start off in the tech industry. I was able to land a Jr developer job prior to even completing the full bootcamp, and it was because of the way the teachers and course structure allows you to learn as much as you like, and they provide so much for helping you get started. The flexible time they offer everyone to learn on your own schedule, They online have a live stream on Saturday from 9 am-1 pm.
With the Nucamp learning plate-forme, all material is very well explained, with great links to all the useful learning websites.
