Nucamp bootcamps offer excellent and affordable training for entry-level jobs in tech. They provide the flexibility of 100% online, part-time, self-scheduled study with the accountability and support of active mentoring and live, online workshops. Bootcamps include Cybersecurity (15 weeks), Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks), Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks), Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks), Solo AI Tech Entrepreneur (30 weeks), as well as AI Essentials for Work (15 weeks), an intro to Web Development Fundamentals (4 weeks of HTML, CSS, & Bootstrap), and a Job Hunting Bootcamp (4 weeks for anyone, educated or self-trained, looking for hands-on help with finding their next job).
Students of Nucamp's longer bootcamps are prepared for junior, entry-level jobs. In addition, several bootcamps prepare students to take industry-recognized certification exams from JSE, Python Institute PCEP, and CompTIA, etc. Nucamp offers career services to its graduates, including 1:1 career coaching and exclusive access to Nucamp’s curated, nationwide job board. Graduates enjoy lifetime access to their curriculum, including updates, and to Nucamp's online learning community for continued networking and career support.
Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. See their website for scholarship opportunities. New bootcamps start every 5 weeks with a dedicated instructor guiding small cohorts of typically no more than 20 students. Admission is open to all 18 years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

Great option for those who are on the fence!
I chose Nucamp as I have been interested in coding for quite awhile but found that without direction I struggled with self learning. I liked the fact that Nucamp was a cheaper option and had a class where I could get my feet wet.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

The second reason I chose them is because the flexibility, meeting only once a week allows maximum time to study on your own. The third reason I chose them is the price. Some school charges a premium on the same material taught, so it makes it hard to commit because you just don't know if you can understand and obtain the knowledge. But I think I can do it with more practice to get ready for the next step. Thank you for the entire Nucamp staff and instructor, you guys are changing the landscape of web development, one student at a time!Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

Which means that paying over 10K for a bootcamp does not mean you will come out a job ready developer. I needed something affordable and part time that will fit with the schedule of a working adult. This is where Nucamp came in. It had exactly what I was looking for and had great reviews. I signed up for the fundamentals course first and I just finished it! Super proud of it too as I had no coding or technical background/experience. I am continuing with the Full Stack bootcamp in about a month. For everybody who is looking to switch careers and have no prior coding knowledge - try this 4 weeks course. It will give you a good idea if this is for you and if you enjoy it. For everyone keep in mind that the pace is fast and you need to put in a lot of additional studying and research. I had decided to commit and went to working PT instead of FT so I can study more and when it came time for JavaScript I felt that even that free time that I had was not enough. But everyone is different and retains new material differently. Our group was small and it allowed our instructor to provide help for each of us when we needed it. Also in the Nucamp slack channel you will always get some answers and help. Nucamp has created a great community of people who do the best to help each other out.
A typical week consist of short video lessons with a lot of examples and exercises for you to try. There is also a quiz at the end of every week. You are given clear and detailed instructions how to do things. On Saturday there is a 4 hour workshop via zoom with your instructor and the fellow students in your group. You go over the week's material and then work together on the workshop assignment. I actually enjoyed the fact that it is fully online and I am able to do it from the comfort of my home without having to commute anywhere.
Overall I am very satisfied with this Fundamentals Course in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and will definitely recommend it.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

It is also very affordable compared to other bootcamps that I researched. I wanted to find a way to learn coding while also being able to still fulfill my family responsibilities and make sure it did not have an impact on my current job. The main thing I learned is that Nucamp gives you the knowledge and projects to practice what you learn. But it is the responsibility of the student to practice, practice, practice. The only way all of this information will make sense is to continue to practice writing code and researching the topics that you are still trying to understand. But Nucamp is a good and affordable place to start learning to write code.Overall4.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors4.0 -

For the price you really do get so much value, and you get all of the tools to start off in the tech industry. I was able to land a Jr developer job prior to even completing the full bootcamp, and it was because of the way the teachers and course structure allows you to learn as much as you like, and they provide so much for helping you get started. In addition, they allowed me to take extra time to finish the bootcamp, understanding my situation and being extra caring due to the pandemic.
