After completing my bootcamp, overall I can say that I'm happy with my decision. Nucamp offered me a way to go from zero programming experience to feeling confident in a career change. I really enjoyed the support I had from my cohort and the entire Nucamp community.
This is not an easy bootcamp. They do expect you to have a certain level of understanding of coding basics, specifically JavaScript. The instructors I had did a good job of explaining some of those hard topics, helping me develop problem solving techniques, and pointing me in the direction of really solid resources to help with my learning after the bootcamp was finished.
I wish this bootcamp was more in depth on certain topics, but ultimately that’s not what it was designed to do. The goal was to bring a student like me with no experience to a place where I’m familiar and comfortable with some of the top programming languages used in the industry and get me ready for a career change.
