Where I thought I knew Javascript, I found out I was incorrect. There was more that I needed to learn. Nucamp was the right decision for me because it is a bootcamp that won't hurt your pocketbook. The syllabus is very easy to follow, and the instructors are very insightful. Everyone is very helpful in your success. I highly recommend anyone that is looking for a great coding bootcamp, to take a look at Nucamp.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

I first found interest in coding in 2018 and with my specific situation, it was time to explore coding more and I'm glad I chose to go with Nucamp. The process of getting enrolled/registered is easy and once classes begin, everyone is very helpful and friendly from the different cohorts to all the different instructors and I came in with absolutely no experience in coding besides whatever I would do on 'myspace' when that was a thing. The coursework was great for me and I was slower in my process but the information and resources provided made going thru the coursework and exercises understandable. The time needs to be set aside to really learn and understand all the information and Nucamp's structure allowed me this time and provided extra resources to do additional/further learning, which is highly recommended even with the web fundamentals course, it will help ease your transition into the other bootcamps! I'm moving on to the Full stack bootcamp and would recommend Nucamp for sure!Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

My Instructor was an Awesome Instructor, very patient, and thorough in explaining the course and assignment. Plus you get a lot of support from fellow staff and students on a social platform.
If you ever thought of learning this or getting into this, I highly recommend this school and course.....very affordable and easy to attend and follow by far.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

My instructor was great and he really wanted us to succeed and understand everything. He took the time to help us if we had any questions was always available. After watching my friend who is in LPN school doing online learning at Lincoln Tech, I can say for sure NuCamp knows what they are doing and they have a very well-organized course. Lincoln tech is so unorganized and nobody on the same page and the teachers don't even want to help it seems. I feel so lucky that NuCamp isn't anything like that. Thanks again, Andrew.Overall5.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

I started looking into bootcamps because I knew that it would provide the right direction and curriculum rather than trying to pick it up on your own. I almost signed up for a $15k bootcamp and was very nervous about making that decision. After doing some more research, I found a bootcamp in my city called Nucamp. This best part, it was affordable. The price was too good to be true! I watched a youtube video with the founder (Ludo) going over the program and I really liked that he was very transparent and up front. I finally made the decision and signed up. I took a web fundamentals course and I am not in the full stack dev course. I am glad I went with Nucamp because the quality of education you receive is amazing, Nucamp is underrated! As with everything, what you put in is what you get out! I'm saying this becuase the resources they give you really helps you understand a new concept, you are not left confused and "on your own." With these resources, you have a very high chance of succeeding if you put in the time. Highly recommend Nucamp, I'm glad I joined. For anyone in doubt, as someone that hardly ever writes a review, I'm writing this because Nucamp is that good that it warrants this review!Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0 -

I contacted at leas 3 other students and we all agreed that Nucamp is not a good school at all. 4 hours workshop each Saturday for 12 students where we suppose to review the whole week content and work on the weekly assignment, that is not enough at all, we don't have time to ask questions and instructors do not have to time to explain the material. I will be honest and update the review if things change along the way but right now I feel I should not be wasting more time at Nucamp and move to another coding school!Overall1.0Curriculum1.0Job support1.0Instructors3.0Ludo Fourrage of Nucamp

Hello XXXXX, really sorry that you feel this way. Since you've just recently started React I would suggest reaching out to studentadmin@nucamp.co for a refund. Given how far along you are you should be getting a good amount of your tuition back.
Now regarding your feedback, I find it difficult to respond to it to be honest. Regarding the React module you are attending that started on May 3rd, we have 19 instructors looking after 200+ students total. Each week we ask students to rate their instructor and the content, and right now the average rating for instructors is 4.48 out of 5, while the content rating is 4.23 out of 5. It's not perfect but likely not "the worst" either. The video and written instructions are meant for you to learn from, which is helped by exercises where we ask you to reproduce what you just saw in your own local environment. Just copying the code won't produce the intended learning experience indeed.
You mention that you contacted "at least 3 other students". Your impression of the school and your personal experience speaks for itself I think. Not clear also what you mean by "at least", is it 3 students, or 4, or 10?
Lastly it is not clear what your 1 star review of Job Assistance is based on since you haven't started the career services yet.
Please reach out to studentadmin@nucamp.co so that we can evaluate options to make it right for you, and support your transition out of the school so that you can explore alternatives. Feel free to reach out to me directly as well at ludo@nucamp.co. -

I was looking over the material and information this course provided. What really helped make my decision is the affordability compared to other bootcamps. I am now done with the 4-week fundamentals course and I feel like I was provided a foundation that is predominantly for the self-motivated to learn further. You will have to spend time on your own that the course does not cover, but does cover the need-to-know basis. I am looking forward to diving into the full stack program, hoping it tailors to what I have already learned. So far it has been a great, yet stressful experience. I would recommend for those that are looking to get into Web Development.Overall4.0Curriculum4.0Job supportN/AInstructors4.0 -

I must say I learned a lot about it in the fundamentals course and I loved it!
The instructors are knowledgable and have real world working experience to bring to their teaching.
The course work is organized well throughout the week and the workshops really bring everything together. The small class sizes are great for working with others and getting plenty of time with the instructor to work through issues.
One of the biggest draws for me at the beginning was the affordability. It is tough to be able to afford these camps especially being a father, but having to give up to 15% of ones salary for others isn't exactly appealing either. Nucamp is affordable and of the same quailty as the more expensive camps.
I would 10/10 recommend Nucamp to anyone looking to learn Web Dev or change carreers. Thanks Nucamp!Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -
