've had the incredible opportunity to study at Melsoft Academy for the past 4 months as a software engineering student, and I must say, it has been a game-changer for me. The mentors at Melsoft are truly exceptional - always available, patient, and determined to ensure that every student fully comprehends the coursework. As someone who had no prior coding experience, their supportive approach made me feel right at home in the world of programming.
Minor drawbacks, ccasionally, the schedule can feel a bit intense, but the mentors are flexible and accommodating when you need extra time. Despite this, the overall experience and knowledge gained far outweigh these slight shortcomings. I am grateful for the guidance and support I've received at Melsoft Academy, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to kickstart their journey in software engineering.

CONS:⏹️If you're anywhere other than Johannesburg, you miss out on the onsite weekly gatherings on Wednesdays⏹️Although the course is suitable for everyone; even those with no coding experience, due to the intense nature of the bootcamp, to maximise on the experience and minimise feeling overwhelmed and out of place, I would suggest some self-study before commencing this bootcamp
Overall this bootcamp is an excellent way to prepare you for real-world virtual work environments. 
If you need someone to hold your hand or simply grasp things better from physical or mostly real time instruction then it might not be most suitable for you but definitely still worth considering.
I attended another bootcamp in 2020 and made more progress in 3 months than I did in 3 years. 
This bootcamp has definately been the best decision I made for my career in 2023 and therefore I highly recommend. 👍🏻👌🏻🙌🏻

the syllabus is top-notch, covering everything from the basics to advanced Web Dev. What's really awesome is that they set you up with internships once you've finished. It's like going from classroom coding to the real deal in no time! They make it super easy with their connections.

You can learn how to code from youtube ,why would you want to join a bootcamp like melsoft academy ?Youtube has lots of tutorials taught by industry experts with years of experience but they wont help you get hired and thats where Larreth comes in ,from what i've observed He uses his vast connection netowrk that he acquired from when he was still freelancing to plug his students  .and that what separates melsoft from other bootcamps ,the internship is 100% guaranteed .

The curriculum is on point ,the intership is yours if want it , but I wasnt too impressed with the mentors except for 1 .I didnt think they were nice ,they were not responsive .But they are very competent programmers but they need to accomodate weirdos like me ,

Before I joined Melsoft Academy's software engineering program, I found learning to code to be a boring task, almost gave up on my dream of becoming a software engineer. However, stumbling upon Melsoft Academy on TikTok changed everything. Their instructors possess a rare talent for simplifying complex coding concepts, making learning very easy and enjoyable I must say lol. I am deeply excited about coding now, plus I also have a burgeoning portfolio filled with projects that showcase my skills. I extend a heartfelt thank you to Melsoft Academy's instructors and my boot camp mates for their invaluable contributions in transforming my journey into one of excitement and achievements.

My experience has been great,the bootcamp not only offered an awesome curriculum but a great sense of community too.I have never felt alone since I started and it also brought up the best version of myself and helped me unlock my full potential 

Wow, where do I even begin? My time at Melsoft has been absolutely fantastic! As I'm nearing the end of my bootcamp, I can't help but reflect on how amazing it's been. The bootcamp provided hands-on courses where we worked on real projects, giving us a taste of what it's like in the real world. The courses are intense and move quickly, so they require commitment and focus. Luckily, I was really dedicated to learning and knew exactly what I wanted.


The course instructors are incredibly experienced and have a knack for explaining complex concepts in a way that even beginners, like myself, can understand. Melsoft academy has been the best decision of my life as it has equipped me with a skills development program that has contributed to not only my education but my soft skills of like in general. I have managed to reach my potential and challenge myself in the Bootcamp. These elements are elements that I have obtained through the Bootcamp and I am forever grateful. I did not know how to use a basic laptop and Melsoft Academy really equipped me with skills to operate a laptop and create projects using the proposed curriculum. My journey at Melsoft Academy was a great experience that helped me a lot in the technology world because it teaches us how to collaborate and solve problems.solving problems is what we do as software engineers. We get the feel of being in a real tech environment and tackle projects and opportunities to tech events and learn a lot from the experts and the projects are very good as it is very crucial for your portfolio and job opportunities 

I’ve tried learning to code using Coursera courses but I always found myself quitting. But with the support I get from the mentors at Melsoft (especially Laurice!) I’ve never made so much progress before. Course content is really easy to understand, wouldn’t change anything about it. Honestly

I joined Melsoft Academy in June and was really impressed, firstly by the way they are so organized and secondly by the process of being admitted to interact with other students and mentors. The course content has really been beneficial to my skills, I can now be certain that I have gained knowledge in terms of HTML and CSS. I can see that by the time I finish the program, I will be well-equipped for the industry.

My overall experience at Melsoft has been so great I'd recommend more people to learn software development under Melsoft,and the instructors  are so helpful and understanding in times of when I struggled with coding and they assisted me to become so decisive at coding,the courses and learning material I would say  are straight forward it explains everything in its finest detail you cannot go wrong with Melsoft because there's always someone ready to assist,after 6 months full time or 12 months part-time you are guaranteed an internship,you are guaranteed to land a job under any industry of software development.

The Melsoft Academy Bootcamp is great for both beginners in programming and graduates. It sets you apart as you get to practice your skills and post them effectively on multiple online platforms. It also allows you opportunities to interact with successful people in the industry, it's really a game changer for those who say, "I want to be better at what I do and build more confidence in my skill ". However, it will not be easy it will teach you independence as a developer. As a computer science and informatics university graduate, I certainly would recommend it for everyone who desires to be a software developer. This bootcamp is a bargain, it really is different because it will challenge you to be your best. Structured lessons, weekly presentations, pair projects, and more!
