As a woman from the MENA region hoping to build a stronger future in tech, joining this cybersecurity program was one of the best opportunities that I’ve had. The curriculum is very well designed, it takes you from the fundamentals to more advanced topics in a structured way, with plenty of hands-on practice.But what made the biggest difference was the support system. The instructors were patient and knowledgeable, and the team always checked in to make sure we were on track. I really enjoyed this amazing program. It significantly expanded my knowledge, and we benefited greatly from the expertise of the instructors, who provided many valuable tips and tricks to support our journey.
The team created an engaging and enjoyable learning environment — from playing music based on our suggestions, to displaying the duck race before sessions and during breaks, and even celebrating our birthdays.
During the sessions, any question asked in the live chat was answered immediately by the TAs, and reaching out to any staff member was always easy and smooth. The opportunity to have 1:1 sessions with both TAs and CSCs was extremely valuable.
The PD sessions felt like therapy, and the overall experience — including Codio, labs, the curriculum, technical sessions, PD sessions, the dedicated AI model for Security+ exam preparation, and the CV-building tool integrated with AI for transforming experience descriptions into bullet points — was truly impressive.
The Security+ mock exams were also a great addition. Overall, everything was perfect. -

Cybersecurity advance was extremely one of the most organized course that I have taken. At the beginning I had zero knowledge about cybersecurity and really enjoyed learning along the 22 weeks. Since in each one I got a huge amount of knowledge that definitely was new for me, By the time you feel stressed but that was normal since PD sessions were held online by expert leaders who made everything simple and they encouraged us to continue with firing positive energy around . I can't forget how the Lead Instructors taught us and armed us with the modern technology with cybersecurity. Also the availabilityof TA through the meeting and though the channels made huge difference, they helped us in a way that looked professionally. Now as a graduate I feel of high confidence to continue with this field specially after I passed in Secuiry + certificate. The instructors are not only professional but also talented at explaining the Curriculum and making it easier for learners, even when the sessions have heavy content. the program was such an amazing experience that I would highly recommend it. Not only was the technical aspect great, but the coaching sessions were also incredible. By the end of the program, I had grown not only as an IT professional but also as a person. I met so many wonderful women who made the entire journey truly special.The TAs were extremely helpful you could ask questions 24/7, and they would always respond. The lead instructors shared their real-world experiences, which enriched the program and made it truly unique. this course helped me through so much ,during these six months i was introduced to such an amazing and loving community of people , all there supporting words helped me graduate for this program and get my secuiry+ certificate , honestly i always heard that when people support you and tell you that it's possible for you that it well help you but this experience proved this theory to me 100% , with every meeting sana and yara kept encouraging us and telling us how much of an accomplishment we had done and how unique we are to get here as we where selected form the top 3% of applicants and Shahad professional development sessions where really helpful in alll aspects form helping us with our resumes interviews to actually being so honest with us that we all feel at times imposter syndrome and that we are not alone in this it happens to most of us , all there supportive words helped me to keep pushing whenever i felt like this is all to much for me and oddly they always knew the right time to tell us the right words
i chose to make this program a challenge to my self to see how commttid i can be and prove to myself that i can do this and learn more about cyber security as i thought i lacked some basic knowledge and when we started our sessions i kept showing up and learnt so many new topics through my amazing lead instructors they helped make our sessions more fun and light through there examples and jokes ,as for my teacher assistants i always felt like i can rely on them to ask any question and they would answer me always never missing a question , also a part i liked is how they made a challenge to help use keep up with some cyber news called " may the best team win " i tried my best with these challenges to learn more each time they even provided a short video in case we didn't like to read

I recently took the Advanced Cybersecurity for Women in MENA course by Correlation One, and I have to say, it was really impressive. The course is well organized, covers a lot from the basics to hands-on topics like incident response and vulnerability assessment and the team is super friendly and supportive . I also liked that it prepares you for certifications like CompTIA Security+.
What I found really valuable was that it’s fully remote, free for eligible women, and comes with career support and networking opportunities. Honestly, if you’re a woman in MENA with a STEM background looking to start or grow in cybersecurity, this is a great program. For me, some of it overlapped with what I already know, but the certification and connections made it worth it.

The fellowship was overwhelmingly practical, requiring students to immediately apply theoretical knowledge. We successfully completed 16 intensive labs and technical projects covering crucial skills such as network troubleshooting, digital forensics, access control, applied cryptography, MITRE ATT&CK framework usage, and vulnerability assessment. Furthermore, we tackled 17 real-world case studies focused on security architecture design, enterprise threat mitigation, and compliance standards, ensuring preparedness for production environments.
Beyond the technical depth, the program offered invaluable dedicated professional development sessions. This support included continuous progress tracking, intensive one-on-one sessions focused on career strategy, and long meetings dedicated to refining professional branding (CV and LinkedIn profile). Joining Correlation on Cyber – Advanced Women in the MENA has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. What stood out to me the most was that it never felt like a traditional program where someone is lecturing you from a distance. Instead, it felt like a circle of friendships, support, and real connections. Every session carried a sense of community — women uplifting each other, sharing experiences, and growing together.To be completely honest, I was at a point in my life where I was about to walk away from cybersecurity. I felt lost, unsure, and ready to give up on the field altogether. But this program came at exactly the right time. It reopened the door for me, gave me direction, and helped me rediscover the passion I thought I had lost. Correlation truly reminded me why I fell in love with cybersecurity in the first place.This program didn’t just teach me — it inspired me. My name is Aya Magdy. I graduated in 2019 as the top student in my university in Assiut. I come from a rural area that is far from development and has very few opportunities for computer science courses or jobs. Even with these hard conditions, I kept trying to travel to the capital to learn.
I applied for this scholarship, but because of many reasons, I had very little hope that I would be accepted. But thank God, I was chosen. Only 3% were accepted, and I was one of them. I was very happy and excited.
From the first day, everything was amazing. The organization was excellent, the support was great, and all my questions were answered quickly. I learned a lot, and there was always continuous follow-up and strict discipline in the schedule. I really enjoyed the experience and learned so much.
We also had PD sessions that helped me a lot, and the CSC supported us in many ways. I graduated, thank God, and I earned the Security+ certificate a wonderful certificate that will help all of us in the cybersecurity field.
Honestly, this experience changed my life. It saved me, opened new doors for me, and gave me confidence in myself. I am truly grateful to everyone who taught me. As a student, I appreciate your effort so much.

I'm very happy and proud to graduate from this program. This opportunity has completely transformed my experience, and I've reached a new level of professionalism through preparation for the CompTIA Security+ exam. I thought that this program would be like anything else, especially since I've taken many courses, workshops and classes, but this program has exceeded my expectations. Not only does it provide us the sec+ voucher, it prepares us to pass it, it doesn't only focus on the technical level, knowing that the technical level was deep because we got labs, lessons,homeworks, and different TAs to get different points of review and experience. The e-Learning Platform for this training is so user-friendly. After we delved into the technical details, the program provided us with soft skills and CSC sessions to ensure we covered everything from the job's technical requirements to soft skills like time management, and this was solidified with a 1:1 session with a specialist. The course was extremely helpful and enjoyable. Best place for lateral continuing education to learn new skills which prepares oneself for openings in domain which was not that predominant about two plus decades /at start of ones employment. C1 inks transformation from employment to career. One thing I felt was course structure may be designed with breaks of a week or two for every new topic so as to enable cohorts revise, practise, understand better the topic introduced on top of full time job at Amazon, it would be helpful for those who are going back to learning/studies after a disconnect of more than two decades. -

I went into the C1 Software Testing from Correlation one knowing almost nothing about the subject and finished wilth a very good overall understanding about testing methodologies, concepts and tools. Great introduction to cybersecurity. Six month classes with test and projects. I was able to gain knowledge on cybersecurity. With the opportunity to gain security plus certification. All the teachers are amazing great teaching ability . Broke down how to break into cybersecurity. Also how to gain a security clearance. I have a great understanding of cybersecurity. How to protect my data as well as. How to perform for a cybersecurity job. They have an abundance amount of resources. We also are given access after graduation.
