If you have excess money to throw around, it's a nice experience. Otherwise, it's not worth it.
There is a mismatch between what Careerist tells their students and the reality. They say there are SO MANY JOBS out there, you can make a LOT of MONEY, and you don't need to know how to CODE.

The reality is, most companies are looking for Automation Engineers. How do you possibly stand out with less than a year experience of just Manual QA? (Sure, they probably want you to continue with the automation course so they could make even more money!)

One thing I felt very sketchy about them is that the mentors encourages you to lie on your resume, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Even though I only had 3 weeks of internship, the resume created for me shows 9 months. Skills such as Postman API (which requires knowledge of JavaScript) and MySQL are listed, which I barely have.
I have no intention of learning how to code.

As far as the classes go, I was expecting an organized college-like lecture but it was more DIY, at-home, casual feel. One instructor excused herself a few times during class to deal with something or someone. You can get much better quality lectures at Coursera or Udemy.

Oh how I wish I could get my money back but they require you to submit 95 job applications a week to qualify.

Where do I even start... So I joined Careerist as an Entrepreneur looking to leverage a Sales Engineering position to help me re-adjust my lifestyle and grow my business. I was already well-versed in sales and sales cycles. But I felt I could get some competitive edge with the technical side. Before I joined the Course I did my due diligence and saw mixed reviews on the depth of technical information the course gives. So I was on the fence until I heard from one of their main affiliates on social media that Careerist applies for 5 jobs a day for you after you graduate from the program until you get placed in a job.

So at this point, I figured "you know what, at minimum, they will be able to aid me with Job applications when I graduate from the program." I went as to ask the Advisor the enrolled me very specifically "And just so I am clear, Careerist does apply for jobs FOR ME after graduation correct?" And of course, he said yes they would get me to enroll.

 Fast forward, this has been the ABSOLUTE WORST course experience I've had (And I've invested in plenty of Coaching & Mentorships.) The course was literally textbook technical information, the instruction was absolutely unorganized and even unprofessional, and just to put the cherry on top, they are now telling me I have to pay to get the "automated version" of their Job Application Service! I have reached out to two program reps, and an advisor and called and got nowhere with the issue. They keep either ignoring me or telling me "I will take it to management and see what we can do" Just an absolute waste of time and experience.

I also want to bring up one more thing that I feel Careerist needs to be publicly addressed about. The cohort I came in (November 1st) was literally 5X the number of people from their previous cohort even though they said spots were limited. The reason being is that they had a Graduate from a cohort last year do very well. He essentially built a platform with his story about how he went from driving uber to making 200K+ in tech. Of course that created a large volume of demand and rightfully so.

BUT, here was where Careerist f'd up. They took on all these people PRIMARILY Black & Brown folks without hiring the necessary support needed to fulfill. They literally took advantage of my communities desire to be upward mobile and then F''d a bunch of people into income share contracts because they couldn't afford it. An overseas Company signing a bunch of Black & Brown Folks into predatory income-sharing contracts for their overpriced and underdelivering program?  Sheesh! Talk about OPPRESSION.

Not that I am not at all worried about job placement for myself personally. I will probably get a job through my connections as I have a lot of friends in tech. I was way too overqualified to waste my time in this program and I do take responsibility for my own faulty decision to take a leap with this program.

However, I'm curious to see how they are going to keep their promises of Job placement to all of these students they recruited. There are a few people from my cohort taking legal action against this company as I've heard. I hope Careerist gets what they deserved.  As a people-centered Entrepreneur, I am absolutely disgusted with these people.

But hey maybe someone from the program will finally reach out to address my concerns after the read this review...

This is My experience with Careerist and i would like to share it for anybody wants to make decision.
Sales Engineering in Careerist  is nothing more than Sales Rep Training. For Sales Engineering, you need to have Technical background and they do not mention this at the time of admission. basically, they don't have any admission process. They only try to get more students no matter what is their qualification and are they a good fit for the sales Engineering position or not?
The way they teach and their Curriculum is only general concept and only good to know what is sales cycle is but you get only overall understanding nit much detail and not much you need to apply for jobs. They placement rate is  based on their statement is less than 40% both sales and sales Engineering which is for 30 students in both class, you only have 10-12 people get job which is very low.
regarding mentorship, they dont know what is sales Engineering is, They only use Template resume and put some words in your Resume and when you tell them i dont know about these stuff, they say" no worries. the instructor will teach you" but honestly, the instructors did not talk about these terms at all. 
Regarding their internship, unfortunately, they don't have anything for internship. they only give you  a list of customers and ask you call them and honestly this is not the job of sales Engineer. its a sales Rep job and that's it. honestly, waste of time.
long story short, maybe they are good only in QA  and collect reviews and not in sales and sales Engineering.

Careerist is the real deal! They exceeded my expectations by far! I loved the course, the faculty, staff, and mentors! The course content is concise and to the point. Their mission is to help you get a job, and they deliver. The support that they offer the graduates is truly incomparable. They make you feel personally supported, and you get the sense that they genuinely care about your success. If you are willing to put in the time and do the work, you will no doubt succeed. There is an internship with a real-world project, you have option to do internship as long as you need it.

Attending class in easy way with a supporting material and videos help me a lot to understand the subject in depth. I got a very good image about the outside IT market . I really like it the hand on experience I got it with the different tools instead of lecture only, I was exposed with installing different tools, it build my confident how I get the tools help me to do my work.  Whoever wants to be a QA/SDET i highly recommend to take their course.
They have an amazing team of instructors.  They teach you everything that you need to know about Quality Assurance and prepare you for interviews.
A lot of people are scared of going to interviews but thanks to JobEasy they build my confidence so when I was going to the interviews I sounded confided and knowledgeable.

 I initially heard about Careerist from my good friends wife. She had taken the Manual QA Course, got a job, then went on to take the Automation course. She knew my situation at the time, that my fiancé and I were pregnant at the time, I was working an okay job, but I was really wanting a career so I could have a way to take care of my growing family. She told me about this online school, Careerist! She told me that it could help me land a well paying job like it did for her. I was still skeptical because she said how quickly it could all be completed in. It almost sounded too good to be true. But I figured you know what, what if I can pull it off?! What if I really could land a job on the computer where I could either work from home, in an office, or a combination of both?! I was super excited and went ahead and signed up. I was nervous, not knowing if I had what it takes. But I did it! The classes were great. All of them had a live person teaching the class that was already, or had previously been in the field of QA. They were always asking if we had questions, and when any of us did they would always make sure we understood before going on. And if someone still had an issue, they would say, email me after class, or email a mentor and we will help you understand. It was a lot of notes, and honestly it took me a little longer to complete the classes because I wrote so many notes and wanted to make sure I understood what I was being taught to the best of my abilities. After completing all my classes I even got to work on two projects (internships). One with the school, and one with a third party company. It really helped bring what we had learn in classes all together. Got us hands on with the programs and everything. It was a great experience. After that they taught me how to create a really good resume. A cover letter. And a LinkedIn profile! I also got to work with a career coach who goes over everything! Mine was Viktor Tsoy he is a great man. He never gave up on me and was always eager to see what I needed next to move me along the process of finding a job. They actually care at Careerist. I recently completed the Careerist Manual SQA Engineering bootcamp, and it was an amazing experience. It was my first bootcamp, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I can confidently say that my skepticism quickly turned into genuine appreciation for the program. 
 From the very beginning, I was impressed by the structure and quality of the course. The lessons were clear, well-organized, and designed to progressively build my knowledge and skills in Software Quality Assurance. 
 
 The instructors were exceptional. They were not only experts in the field but also very open, passionate and dedicated during delivery. Careerist also offered invaluable career coaching and support in preparation for job search.
 
 The hands-on internship component was the major highlight for me. It provided real-world experiences that solidified the concepts I was taught. I think that this practical exposure has given me the confidence I need to take on real SQA tasks. Drawbacks? Despite my initial concerns about the length and timing of the classes--being from the East Coast—the engaging nature of the classes made the long hours worth it.  Overall, the Careerist bootcamp exceeded my expectations in every way. The supportive environment, combined with expert instruction and valuable practical experience, made for a truly enriching learning journey. I feel well-prepared to start my career in Software Quality Assurance. I have not yet started the final part of the program -actual Job Search-so I am unable to comment on that aspect at this time (I will return to do so at a future date). However, I am very optimistic and confident in my abilities due to the comprehensive training I’ve received. I enrolled in Careerist School on a friend's recommendation. 
She had recently completed their Manual Tester course, landed a job, and then decided to upskill with their Automation Tester course, which also led to quick employment. 

I've never regretted joining this school. I even brought my husband to their Systems Engineer course. 
The school is truly a game-changer if you're looking to switch careers and find your place in IT, or if you're an IT professional who's relocated and needs to adapt to American standards.
