This course was an excellent and comprehensive overview of Digital Marketing. From content strategy to SEO and social media, we learned it all. The instructors were truly exceptional and brought great industry knowledge to each session for better understanding of the course content by giving real word examples. Also the course content is broken down in a really organized way. There was time for live demos and for students to demo things like the google keyword planner on our own. I recommend this course highly to anyone interested in building their knowledge and skill set in the realm of digital marketing. Read less

Just wrapped up my final class of BrainStation's product management certificate course and would absolutely recommend to anyone who is looking to become a PM, entrepreneur, or who is working closely with lots of cross-functional teams in an organization. 

Top Points:

• EXCELLENT instructors. My instructors both worked at very large SaaS organizations and have an extensive background in Product Management. This allowed them to provide tons of real world examples of the concepts we were learning, and also help our class understand exactly how certain frameworks and tools are applied in a corporate setting. 
• Very Hands On. Everything we learned was applied to assignments for deeper understanding, usually in the same class, as well as after class. 
• Great Support. Both of my instructors were available between classes to answer questions and provide perspective on my final project. 
• Clear, Quality Content. The modules all built very well on one another and gave a full understanding of the product management lifecycle. The use of real-world examples was also very common which helped with understanding. 

Overall, I would give my experience a 9.5/10 and will certainly be going back to BrainStation for more courses in 2021.

I completed the online product management course over 10 weeks in beginning of 2021. Brainstorm has an amazing learning platform that made it very easy and accessible to take the course online. 
The instructors were very engaging and had a lot of professional experience and wisdom working as PMs. The course was interesting, informative and clearly thought out to make it as good of an experience for the group as possible. It shows! The content was put to practice through the final project which helped really apply the tools and methods from the course. 
While I was already familiar with some of the concepts having worked in product marketing and program management, it really helped me get a better understand of product management and all the steps needed to bring a product to market. 
I feel more confident in my daily job working with PMs and a deeper understanding of product development. 

I would recommend Brainstation if you're looking for great online courses and looking to get an introduction to product management.  Read less

I took the 10-week Digital Marketing Course which focused on many aspects of the industry from SEO, SEM, Analytics, Google Ads and all of the most popular social channels. It was a great way for me to refresh on things I already knew but view them under new eyes. It offers a broad stroke to anybody new to the industry or looking to grow confidence in this segment. If you are more analytically inclined look at the more focused course they offer for that.  Read less

Extremely satisfied with the teaching methods and outcome from the 10 week Product Management course at Brainstation. The course instructors were actual professional practitioners of Product Management and that they used a lot of real life examples from the industry or their own personal experience as Product Managers which really helped drive home the point.

The part-time data science course offered by BrainStation was overall a great experience. With only a brief overview of Python, it is recommended that you already have a solid foundation of Python as the course dives into more complex topics later in the course.  It's a great overview for understanding data science however this one course on its own will not make you a data scientist.  Highly recommend for anyone who wants to improve their Python skills, and start to understanding the world of data science. The BrainStation Data Analytics class is the perfect introduction to data analytics. You learn advance formulas in excel, get familiar with MySQL and Tableau. The instructors are experienced in the field, very knowledgeable and friendly. The exercises and project are similar to industry requests and are relatable so as to learn the skills needed if you were working in the field. Practice outside of the class is definitely required. I wasn't sure what to expect-even though we were given a syllabus to review. The instructors assigned to this course were coming from excellent areas of business. I loved AI and VR (and I particularly enjoyed the agile learning concept) it took the pressure off of learning and how to apply the material.  Read less

If you're looking to become a solid data analyst, this is the course for you! I really wanted to get a better understanding about the work of a data analyst, and how to work more closely with data in my day -to-day life, so I took this course to help me understand how to interpret data and present it (either in a professional setting, personal writing and also within the scope of my job) 

I learned so much about how to approach real-world problems and examples and create a way to tell a story with data. I learned how to write SQL commands and scripts in our databases, Excel advanced formulas and also how to visualize data on Tableau, all amazing skills to take with you on any career path you choose, I really recommend taking this course! 
My cohort was taught by instructors from Hootsuite and Uber who were both really passionate about the topic and help you understand how you would take the knowledge on the job. They really took the time to help us understand the homework and course materials outside of class hours and were approachable whenever we had questions. 
They were also really good and helping you understand the career paths you can take as a Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Analyst. You'll learn how to write SQL commands and scripts in our databases and also how to visualise them on Tableau, all amazing skills to take with you on any career path you choose, I really recommend taking this course!

I took the part-time UX Design & UI Design class and absolutely loved it. It really helped me learn a lot within a small period of time. I would highly recommend them. I also love that they use instructors that work at bigger companies like Shopify or ShutterStock to really understand what really happens at these companies. Read less

 I took the UX design course at Brainstation. Each class is made up of practical exercises that help in understanding the concepts taught. I will recommend this course because it has given me a solid foundation on which I can continue to build my UX design skills. Also, I was introduced to Figma and I'm currently building my designing skills using this software. It's all thanks to the guidance and support from my instructor at Brainstation.  Read less

This was my first time taking a course with BrainStation, and I am glad that I did it. I was always interested in elevating my skills and knowledge in product management to start a career shift from product design to product management. I found this course very useful, and it brought some confidence in me to move towards my career goals and plans. 
The course is a well-balanced mixture of concepts and theories, in-class activities, case studies and actual hands-on work for the final project. I learnt new and useful toolkits, which I had the chance to apply to my project. However, the significant value that I got during class was the in-depth feedback I received from the instructor and peers. If lectures peppered with opportunities to test your understanding sounds like your learning style, and if you want enthusiastic instructors who genuinely want  to hear your questions, then Wyncode will be a great fit for you. I took this course between September and December 2020.  It was once per week for 3 hours at a time and then a few hours each week outside of class.  To make the most out of the class you really need to spend time outside of class hours building upon your ideas for your final project.  The structure of the course was to design the user flow of an app of your choice.  Throughout each lesson you were to build upon your final presentation i.e. each class gave you time in break-out sessions to further your tasks.  I.e. start with the idea, conduct some research, interview users, sketch some ideas, put them into wireframes and ultimately create a clickable proto-type.  Throughout the process you should be conducting user research to get input from the people that would be in your target market such that you can re-iterate over and over.  My instructor Karishma was really good at meeting the varying learning needs of all students in the class as some were more advanced than others in the field of UX Design.  She provided amazing real world examples to bring lessons to life and was always willing to help both inside class and out.  

Not coming from a UX Design background, I found the first few lessons tougher to follow however quickly learned that you should really read through the course material in advance of each lesson and come prepared to class with your final project in mind so that you could progress your app each class during the break-out sessions.  Perhaps the only feedback I would give to Brainstation would be to have individuals work on their bespoke app/final project outside of class and use the break-out sessions during class time to teach the general concept of UX Design by building one app together i.e. A transit app for the duration of the course.  This would teach students the concepts that they could then use in their own time to build their own app for the final project / future learnings.  

I enjoyed my course and meeting everyone in it from all parts of the world!
