I recently completed the Business Intelligence Bootcamp at Big Blue Academy, and overall, the experience was highly positive. The instructors were highly knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated to helping us understand not only the tools but also the underlying logic behind each concept. The curriculum was well structured, covering all key areas of Business Intelligence in a clear and progressive way.One of the strongest aspects of the program was the extensive hands-on work. We spent a significant amount of time solving practical exercises that simulated real business environments. This approach made the learning experience much more valuable, as it helped me apply the theory directly to realistic use cases.If I could make one recommendation for future editions, it would be to introduce a more selective filtering process for candidates, perhaps through interviews or a basic skills assessment. During the course, I noticed that some participants struggled with fundamental business concepts, as well as basic Excel knowledge. This occasionally slowed down the group and made collaboration on certain projects more challenging.Despite this, the overall training was extremely beneficial. I gained strong, practical skills that are directly relevant to the BI field, and I feel well-prepared to apply them in a professional environment. The Data Analytics Bootcamp was not perfect, but it provided very solid foundations for anyone who wants to grow into the role of a data analyst.The program focuses on the core tools and concepts of data analytics, such as data cleaning, analysis, visualization, and basic business thinking. By the end of the bootcamp, I felt confident using the fundamental tools and understanding how a data analyst approaches real-world problems.What’s important to highlight is that this bootcamp does not make you a “finished” data analyst — and it shouldn’t be expected to. The program is well organized and fast-paced, so having an analytical mindset and a solid understanding of basic Python is important.There are a few areas where the experience could be further enhanced incorporating more real-world industry examples, and providing slightly more structured live coding sessions with extra walkthroughs and hints. This bootcamp pushed me to learn so many things that i didn't know were possible to absorb in such a short time. It guided me with the right tools to build projects and present them in a professional setting and most importantly gave me the critical thinking and confidence to showcase my skills and ultimately finding a job by the end of the bootcamp. The teachers helped me, even for my personal projects, and offered insights AI could not give. Having already completed the Professional Diploma in Data Analytics at Big Blue Data Academy, an experience I was extremely satisfied with, I decided to continue my journey with the Data Engineering Bootcamp—and I’m glad I did. The program is intensive and covers a wide range of essential tools and technologies, from Python and SQL to Docker and Airflow, providing a strong foundation for anyone looking to transition into data engineering.

What stood out the most was the hands-on approach and the real-world orientation of the projects, which helped me consolidate my skills. At the same time, I appreciated the dedication of most instructors, many of whom are active professionals in the field. On the flip side, a few sessions felt less structured, with certain instructors assuming prior knowledge that beginners might not have—something that could be improved in future editions of the program. Also, while the bootcamp is quite demanding, especially if you are working full-time, this is something to expect from such an accelerated learning experience.

Another strong point of the program was the career support that came along with the training. Apart from the technical skills, we also had sessions dedicated to CV building, LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation. What I personally found most useful were the individual discussions with instructors, where I received direct and practical feedback tailored to my own profile, as well as advice on how to approach the job market more strategically.

Overall, I would recommend this bootcamp to anyone who wants to build a solid entry point into data engineering, especially if they value a practical, project-driven approach combined with strong networking and career support opportunities. Read less

The instructors were extremely well-prepared and shared not only theoretical knowledge but also real-world examples from their professional journeys, which made the learning process much more engaging and practical. One point I would mention as constructive feedback is that I would have liked the Azure module to be a bit more in-depth. Given how important Azure is in today’s job market, it would be helpful to have more lessons and case studies, similar to the comprehensive approach taken in the Docker section. The final project offered a valuable opportunity to apply everything in a meaningful, real-world scenario — and I’m proud of what we accomplished.I also appreciated the collaborative atmosphere among participants, and I want to emphasize that the instructors were very willing to help with any questions, which greatly contributed to a supportive learning environment.

That said, I personally found it a bit challenging to connect with the teaching style of some instructors. While their expertise was evident, at times the content could have been delivered in a more engaging and accessible manner. I share this as constructive feedback aimed at enhancing the experience for future students and iterations of the course.
