Break-neck Education
Stagnation and dissatisfaction of my current career prompted me to look for a change, my love for tech combined with the opportunities in the industry made it a no-brainer. Now, how does a 35 year old with no experience enter the tech world? The UofT SCS Full-Stack bootcamp was hands down the best option to make the leap!
My experience with the program has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but ultimately very rewarding and I have optimism moving forward, something I did not have before. I have already recommended the course to others and I advise the utmost organization, focus and a willingness to face challenge head on.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0Boot Camp Team of University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies Boot Camps

Very intense 12 weeks program but gets you to the edge of the technology
As challenging as it may seem to be, the UofT 12 week Bootcamp program has all of it for you to succeed. But don't get it wrong - it all depends on you as a student to get it right. Full dedication, time management and no other distraction during this time are all ingredients of the success. The team will help you but there is a commitment from the student to get everything right. Full Stack Boot Camp
Going into this curriculum, I have had some prior knowledge to web development however, I found after completing the boot camp, I knew so little. This boot camp was very fast paced and packed so much useful information. I learned so much in the past 6 months than I did tinkering by myself within a year and a half. I feel so much more confident now to enter the professional world of full stack development and I couldn’t be more proud of the progress I made in this bootcamp. I highly recommend this boot camp to anyone interested in full stack developments but be prepared to put in HOURS of dedicated time to learning and programming!Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0Boot Camp Team of University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies Boot Camps

Digital Marketing Boot Camp
I decided to pursue Digital Marketing Boot Camp while trying to set up in Canada, once it would be an opportunity to the Canadian experience. I have heard about this course before, but just after a referral I took my decision. It is crucial to spreading the word about the quality of UofT Boot Camps because people have to invest a good amount of money on it.
I love the overall experience: technical subject, works in groups, teachers and assistants, projects, assessments( where I put theory into practice). Moreover, I hope I am able to develop my career in this area in less than three months.
I would recommend prospective students to paying attention to deadlines. This way they can avoid headaches with assessments.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0Boot Camp Team of University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies Boot Camps

This course was very hard for those beginning in IT, but is very well worth it if you are interested in changing your career path. The six month were intense information intake which also require hands on experience and projects. Remember one thing if you are new to IT the first few months are very difficult because of the terminology mostly, but later down the road everything falls into place and you'll start to understand and even think like IT. Great course and awesome professor and the TA's, they will help you if you get stuck or not understand something. I just graduated in 2022 June 18 and currently looking for a job in cyber security and studying for my first certificate Security +

Overall I really enjoyed the bootcamp. It went by so quickly and it was exactly what i expected it to be. I thought the support was great, they were always checking in and you really felt like they cared about your success.
three things that i wish could have been better.
1. I wish we had more time for the last group project and I think towards the end of the course it was very stressful to get all your assignments done a few days before the class ended as well as your group project. I felt like in the end I was handing in subpar work for both my assignments as well as my group project. Maybe if we had until the end of the week to finish our assignments then i could have concentrated more on the group project.
2. I really liked the weekly overview emails i thought it was a great introduction of what to expect in the coming week. The articles were really great and helpful however during the Coding and in particular the UI section of the course it would have been nice to see curated tutorials that were relevant to what we were doing in class. The UI section was particularly hard for me and i felt very overwhelmed with the amount of tutorials online and i think it would have been useful to have some tutorials that the school recommended doing outside of class hours.
3. Going back to the tutorials i think these also would have been helpful to have before the class started i know there were already a few recommended and i completed all of them but i felt lost once we started.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0Boot Camp Team of University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies Boot Camps

U of T SCS FinTech Boot Camp
The Covid-19 pandemic led to changes in the financial industry and more specifically to the limited interaction between advisors and their clientele. With fifteen years of experience in the industry, I realized these changes were necessary and may be the way forward during and after the pandemic. My research on the best course of actions with regards to progressing and being relevant in the ever-changing world of financial planning led me to the U of T SCS Fintech Boot Camp.
The rich history of the University of Toronto coupled with the desired curriculum on financial technology was the deciding factor for what I considered to be great value for my time and money. My proper due diligence in deciding on the U of T SCS Fintech Boot Camp has been rewarded by a very well-run program, the resources on offer and an amazing support team, highlighted by the weekly efforts of the boot camp’s Instructor and his teaching assistants. During these testing times and the stress of work, it was an absolute joy to be introduced and taught the necessary details of an otherwise foreign topic, by the instructional team.
Considering this program, going through the application process and my enrollment has led to me being extremely satisfied and elated with the vast knowledge gathered so far. Furthermore, having absolutely no previous coding experience and only a basic working knowledge of a computer, I would advise any prospective student to simply have an open mind, a capacity to learn and a need to be advantageous over anyone else in their prospective industries when enrolling in the U of T SCS FinTech Boot Camp.

Data Analytics Boot Camp in University of Toronto
I recently graduated from Data Analytics Bootcamp in Toronto. In the beginning I had so much doubts about starting the program and leaving my previous career after 20 years! I questioned myself if I had made the right call to go back to school and challenge myself at age of 53! I was afraid but kept trying. Every week I learned something new and exciting that pushed me forward. Just one week after my graduation I landed an internship position with a growing Data Analytics company in Silicon Valley. The program was rich and gave me the confidence to take the challenge and do the job. The boot camp opened new doors and gave me new purpose in life.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0Boot Camp Team of University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies Boot Camps

Amazing Bootcamp!
Just completed UX/UI Design Bootcamp from University of Toronto. I decided to pursue this career path as it has been something I’ve been very fond (Webdesign and problem solving) of and curious if it can be a new career for me. From the beginning , I was already very impressed and pleased on the professionalism and understanding of the student advisor I had when I was just inquiring about the program.
From there on, meeting the instructor, assistant instructors, and the whole Bootcamp team; my journey went from being challenging - working full time and haven’t been back to school for a really long time; to an enjoyable one!! The whole bootcamp team’s support gave me huge motivation and inspiration in seeing myself the designer I want to be! Beyond thankful for that!
If you are looking into getting into design - proper organization, time management and continuous collaboration with your instructors will definitely help you be successful! I graduated Full Stack Web Development - Flex Part Time in July of 2020. It was a great and challenging experience. I could not have done it without the assistance of extremely talented and supportive instructing team in which I would take this opportunity to thank Edward Apostal.
Ed has incredible knowledge and experience in this field and beyond, which he shared with the class to give us the real understanding into current work model and better prepared us to be employer ready. He was available even after hours to provide us ideas to solve a specific task which helped a lot when you are in a situation where nothing works and needed a senior advice.
In addition, after graduation he informed us about job opportunities he is aware of, which is a great source when you are a new comer in the industry. He is a great instructor that will go an extra mile to help his students to reach the goal they set. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to learn from such a skilled and experienced instructor. I hope one day I will have the opportunity to learn more from him in the cybersecurity sphere!

Intense and thorough with quality instructional team!
This program is for you if you are prepared to work hard and invest the time into the weekly deliverables. You will gain an excellent foundation in Cybersecurity. The industry professionals that make up the instructional team are exceptional, and I was truly blown away with the practical application of what we were learning.
This program is hands-on from beginning to end, with activities such as building a secure cloud network, performing a forensics based investigation on iPhone data, exploiting vulnerable websites and infrastructures and installing 'back-doors,' to name a few. The list truly goes on and touches on an incredible amount of content.
It's tough, but the instructional team set you up for success, even after the program the career support is very active and committed to your success. Having a background in Business Administration I chose this field because Cybersecurity is an in-demand, fast-growing. It is one of the Information Technology domains which are becoming more and more challenging. One of the best things about the Cybersecurity is that you get an opportunity to work with top-class organizations after getting the required skill sets. You will be a part of an exciting and challenging field. My UofT's experience so far has been amazing! It is evident that they go out of their way to make sure each student has a positive experience. The instructor is key in any learning classroom environment and my instructor was top notch. He has an excellent grasp of the subject matter and ensured that each student understood the basic and most advanced concepts. The UofT SCS Cybersecurity boot camp is no picnic, it takes ambition, persistence, commitment, hard work, re-doing activities and self-study to make this course worthwhile. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. I would recommend to anybody looking to get certified.
