I always thought of coding as part of an elite, something that was so far outside my grasp. However, it has always been something that has really triggered an interest within me. But my main problem was not knowing how or where to begin, and that's when I came across SheCodes, a course that provides with all the tools and help you need to get started. Without a doubt, I signed up for my first 3 week workshop, and I was not disappointed! I have now changed career course and would love to explore the coding world even more! With the help and support from SheCodes, nothing is outside my grasp. I want to thank the SheCodes team for the support network they have set up for all of their students, and how they have enabled and opened up a world I didn't think "was meant for me" -

This was an introductory workshop to coding using HTML, CSS, JavaScript via Visual Studio Code. Split over 3 weeks with 2 pieces of homework to submit and challenges along the way, the curriculum built up to a final project which was to design a landing page with interactive elements for a topic or our choice.
I loved it! A totally addictive course, lots of tips and guidance... a great intro and you really see results! A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team! I hope to do another workshop further down the line. -

Great intro to coding
This workshop was great to start learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! The tutorials were short and sweet and the exercises helped to apply the learnings. In addition, you get live support through the Slack Community so you are definitely not alone - I would encourage all women that have an interest in coding to give it a try, it's definitely worth it and makes a ton of fun! 🙌🏽 -

As a beginner, am so glad I chose SheCodes. The beautifully laid out and well-organized modules as well as the challenging home works helped me learn and enjoy the basics of coding . This surely is just the beginning of a newly developed love for coding . I was amazed at what I could create after just 3 weeks of lessons. SheCodes has been a very educative and epiphanic experience for me, they are very interactive with the students and assist whenever possible individually and on certain platforms. It has piqued my interest a lot in web development and it is something I intend to pursue in the proceeding workshops offered. “SheCodes is very informative and through this we assess ouself with each chapter where we stand by solving the given challenges. The material given is very easy to understand, and if stucked in between, the Slack channel is always there to help.SheCodes Team is also responsive, whenever you need them you just drop mail and they will revert you within few hours. I think SheCodes is a great platform for females. I am very happy with SheCodes and I would like to suggest that SheCodes should include more coding workshops for languages like JAVA, PYTHON, etc. -

Fantastic Introduction to Coding!
If you have even the slightest interest in coding, I highly recommend SheCodes. It was easy to follow and the material wasn't ever overwhelming (it is fantastic for absolute beginners like myself). The course is very well-structured, Matt explains everything in a very clear (and fun) way. I found every homework very challenging: you have really to think about solutions and possibilities. I love learning by doing and this is the only useful way to learn for me. I am working as an Email Marketing manager, but I’ve never attended a proper coding course before. This coding workshop could be beneficial for all digital marketers out there (I've already recommended it to some colleagues of mine). Also, it’s possible to follow the classes in a very independent way and, at the same time, working full time. Last, but not least: thanks to Daniela and Lexi for their support! -

I highly recommend SheCodes workshops and signing up to SheCodes is the best thing I could have done for my personal and professional development. It opens up new possibilities and one's perception of what is possible in the world of tech.
It is an incredibly supportive hub for female newbie coders, building up their resilience, problem-solving skills and understandably, tech skills. I am currently attending the SheCodes Plus and I am still as excited as I was when I first started or perhaps, even more. It is incredibly exciting for a non-tech person to watch the software change following one's input!
So if you are intrigued about the world of coding and want to change your profession, like me, then go for it💪

Learning with SheCodes has definitely been empowering and interesting. SheCodes opened my eyes to a whole new world that I didn't think I could be apart of. This course helped expand my mind and learn new skills at the same time. I have a learning condition and thought that was really going to make me struggle with this course but I'm so glad to say I was wrong. Each class helped me step by step and it felt great to have that support. I'm absolutely amazed at how much I accomplished with SheCodes and I wish I'd found it sooner. SheCodes is the best course I've done and I'm so glad I followed my gut because Now I see what I've accomplished in a small space of time and it unbelievable.
For anyone not sure about SheCodes, take it from me you won't regret it at all; in fact, you'll be so happy you gave SheCodes a chance. Highly Recommended. -

I enjoyed this workshop so much! I was an absolute beginner before starting this workshop. I thought my brain won't be able to get how to code. I am truly amazed how quick we learnt and what we are already able to do! True, we still have a lot to learn (so google will be your best friend for a while :D ) but it is also so addictive. I am definitely going to continue with SheCodes Plus, I am so excited!! I love your approach, it is totally fitting how I like to work and learn: the deadlines, the interactions on Slack, everything is so well-organised! I have already recommended it to my friends. This workshop is for beginners who have no previous experience in coding, such as myself. The structure of the course is great, everything is explained in a way that anyone can understand, although you must be familiar with how to install SW or how to work with the computer in general (saving files, opening 2 windows on the screen, etc.) as that is something that is not addressed but is expected from you. I have noticed some people who took the course even mentioned they are not "good with technology" and I would not recommend those course to them.
I loved the fact I could work on my lessons any time I wanted and even finish earlier but totally agree that going slower is not a good idea. The content was balanced and because I now continue with SheCodes+ I can say that the instructor gave the perfect amount of information in each lesson for me to be able to learn something new and make sure that I can build on what I had learned previously. At times, it was challenging, but just the right amount. I think overall it is absolutely worth the money. As a beginner, I had no idea where to start and now I am able to understand the basics and recognize the different codes of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and read it with confidence.
One last note, it requires you to be curious and work on your own a lot. Accept it and make the best of it. There is a great support throughout from the SheCodes team as well as other participants, but you will get such a confidence boost if you only give it a try and figure things out on your own first. “In this digital age and with the rise of advanced technologies and automation, the tech industry is really a place for a myriad of job opportunities. I recognised this and I've always been intrigued to learn the official coding and programming languages however I never had the opportunity nor any clue which platforms to choose from. Then, I came across SheCodes. I joined SheCodes because I truly resonate with its message and goals. I was impressed that a company is taking the initiative to tackle a global issue in the technological industry. Furthermore, the credibility and reliability of its CEO & Founder plus the recognition from various notable companies really did it for me. I've always dreamed of working for some of the companies mentioned. Thus, I knew I had to join SheCodes. Next, the 100% online SheCodes workshop. It has bite-sized videos with mini exercises for each lesson which encourages students to take initiative and be pro-active in their learning. One can also do it at their own time and convenience within the stipulated workshop duration. If one needs any assistance, tech support on Slack and even experienced students are more than welcome to help. I learnt a lot and appreciate the positive learning environment. As a busy full-time undergraduate and part-time HR personnel exposed to learning and development, I approved of this and recognised that such methods are the future of learning. Finally, SheCodes gave me good vibes with its pleasant and user-friendly interface as well as many positive student reviews. Overall, the experience has been wonderful. Thank you, SheCodes!”

I was always interested in learning how to code, but never thought that I would get the chance. When I first came upon a SheCodes ad, I was immediately intrigued; and when my employer asked me to attend further training during my short-term work, I jumped at the opportunity – and never regretted it. Being totally absorbed in the learning videos and corresponding challenges, hours pass without me realising it. I immensely enjoy putting what I just learned into action and can’t believe how far I’ve already come in such a short period of time. Coding can be challenging, but it is also a lot of fun and extremely rewarding. If you are unsure whether you should sign up for one of the workshops, do it! I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
