The past 3 weeks have been an amazing first step into coding. The way that the lessons are followed by a challenge, based on the lesson's content, allows you to learn whilst doing, which is great for absolute beginners like myself. I had never looked at a piece of code properly before this, so learning how to write it has been incredibly rewarding! I loved the flexibility the workshop provides. I was able to spend the first week completing the lessons and spend 2 weeks consolidating what I had learned and work towards my final project. The community and support you're given access to on slack chat is also a huge benefit of this programme. Not only can you access help when you need it, you're also able to share your journey with others. I cannot recommend SheCodes enough! -

Great course!
I have owned and operated my business for almost ten years. However, when we were forced to close temporarily during the pandemic, I thought I would use my free time to upskill. I am thoroughly enjoying the course so far. I especially appreciate how bitesize each lesson is. Immediately putting each new skill, however small, into practice is such a great way to learn and retain new information. -

SheCodes Basics is a great and affordable way to figure out if you're interested in coding! You'll be able to make a simple webpage by the end, and if you decide you like it you can continue with the other courses! The support system on Slack is great and what really makes me love the program. -

I was a complete beginner to coding and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the course. The lessons were easy to follow, and understanding tested with a short challenge at the end of every lesson. I never felt overstretched, and help was always available on Slack. The final project was a great opportunity to put everything I learnt into practice. -

I absolutely loved this introduction course! It was the perfect balance of challenging and encouraging, with the lessons very clear to understand and the challenges and homework pushing you to use your initiative and test things out. Would definitely recommend if you're at all interested in coding; so much fun and so satisfying to learn a new skill. Hopefully I can carry on coding now! -

I've been wanting to get into coding for a very long time but hesitated because it seemed intimidating and too complex. After sitting in on one of Matt's free coding sessions, I was finally convinced to take the beginner workshop! It was SO worth it, I am so happy I took this course, it was easily digestible content, easy to learn, especially for someone like me with minimal coding experience! I enjoyed the format of the course as well. Definitely going to take more courses from Matt and the SheCodes team in the future :) -

Perfect Introduction to Coding for Beginners
I have never done any coding before and was not very confident going into the course. My worries were soon put to rest. The lessons are short and provide challenges to practice the skills in demonstrated in the lesson. SheCodes exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to try out coding. -

I had tried to learn coding on many different platforms and felt like I was losing steam- until I joined SheCodes! The lesson structure is amazing and Matt makes everything really clear so even if you have no prior coding knowledge you can follow them really easily and start coding straight away! The taster that is offered which is 1 hour of basic coding from Matt is amazing as you get a sense of what you will be doing and you can make an informed decision about whether or not coding is for you. The staff on hand is also impressive, if you are ever stuck you can jump on slack and ask! You will get a very informed answer and also be told what you have done that could be causing the issues ( especially when it comes to Javascript) As well as this you learn how to host websites and also the best practices to make sure you won't lose anything that you have done (GitHub has saved my life so many times, join and you will learn how) -

Certainly one of the most fulfilling workshop that i've ever done. I can't possibly believe that someone like me who has zero coding knowledge would be able to create my own landing page in just 3weeks. I really enjoyed learning HTML, CSS and Javascript even in short span of time. I also found the course well-paced and the resources were clear and concise. Fun and educational

SheCodes is one of my favourite course that I had attended so far. It is amazing. It is good for beginners like me who has zero background knowledge of codes; HTML/ JS/ CSS.
Matt did an excellent job in delivering the online class to us. I’m able to rewatch as many times as I can to get myself clear on the content of the particular curriculum.
Backend staff serves me well too when I encountered issues on admin. Replies were fast and concise.
Kudos to the team behind SheCodes! Stay safe and take care!
P/s. I’m from Singapore and I really do enjoy this course. If I have a chance, I will definitely recommend it to my friends and colleagues who need help with coding. Cheers!! -

I can’t remember the last time I was so engaged in learning. Being able to work at my own pace and schedule made the experience so much easier. Best introduction to coding!
Are you hesitating? Definitely go for it! I was a coding newbie and wanted to discover what coding is all about. Other introduction courses I have followed turned out to be very abstract and complicated. But the SheCodes Basics course was super practical, easy to follow and a great introduction into coding and that was exactly what I was looking for!
