Great starter!
SheCodes basic was a great refresher to get me started on my coding journey. The online site is so clean and easy to use and the challenges are structures very well. I love the fact the videos explain it so well and give examples to use in the "real world". I was delighted to be able to complete my final assignment and to actually be proud of my work. -

This course has been awesome! Such wonderful support and teaching. I was a bit intimidated to start a coding course from knowing little to nothing about it, but this has been an excellent start. It’s been very rewarding as well. After completing the basics course, I feel comfortable with VS code, HTML, CSS, and am motivated to keep going!
It is definitely challenging as it is learning any language, but the SheCodes Team and lessons support and prepare you very well. I would rather take this course than go through a university or high school course on it. -

I loved SheCodes-Basic! Before I started, I didn't know anything about coding whatsoever and I was always a little intimidated by it. I liked Matt's way of teaching straight away (not easily done because I am a teacher myself 👩🏫) and it is still truely amazing to me, how much I learnt in that short span of time. It gave me a lot of insights into the world of coding - so much in fact that I decided to continue with SheCodesPro to change careers, as I recently became unemployed. I didn't see that one coming but I'm really happy and grateful about it. It was the right ad at the right time and can't wait to keep on coding! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -

I knew I needed structure but also knew that I didn't have 10k to take some of the bootcamps I had heard about that seemed to crank people out and it wasn't very personal. The fact that this was women focused made it more appealing and comfortable to be honest about where I am and what my goals are. I cannot believe how personal and great this experience has been so far. I have LEARNED so much, not memorizing or whatnot, actually learning how to put things into practice and how to fix things. 10/10 -

Shecodes Basics Course
I thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes workshop! The videos were very easy to follow and the mini-challenges helped to solidify my learning. I also loved the support system on Slack as it made me feel more confident when dealing with particularly challenging aspects of the tasks.

Honestly, one of the best online courses I ever took. Simple, clear, efficient methodology. I always thought that "coding was not for me": too hard, too "mathematical". Matt demystified this idea through SheCodes. At each challenge, I got more and more convinced that I could do it. It was a huge satisfaction to take those first steps and I hope to keep taking further ones. -

You can learn coding easily if you want and try. You can watch lesson's video, do challenges and ask questions every time you are confused. Every lesson teaches you clearly the subject and after doing the challenges, you will understand them very well. I am so excited to have the chance to participate in these courses.

I never really had the confidence to finish this course but the workshop was really beginner friendly and the support of the SheCodes team from Slack helped me to push through despite the frustrations! I have always been interested in coding. I, unfortunately, was told I was not a good fit for coding when I enrolled in college due to my lifestyle (wife and mother of two). I decided to follow the counselor's advice and in 2020 completed my major in Creative Writing. Throughout my school years, however, I took some coding classes and came across SheCodes--a coding program specifically built for women! Now that I am more confident and have more time for myself, I signed up with SheCodes ^_^ The lessons are broken down in a way that makes learning to code approachable, and the final project truly involved all that I learned. The SheCodes support team was very kind, understanding, and helpful. It's an efficient and easy-to-follow program, I recommend it to all. -

Great Intro to Coding
In a few short weeks, I've gone from knowing nothing about coding, to having my first solid footholds into the subject. I'm excited to keep learning and really appreciate all of the hard work and time that has gone into developing this program. It really helps to learn in the bite-sized chunks of material with lots of hands on practice mixed in. -

SheCodes basic course: quick to join and easy to follow. Matt is unfolding code logic and its rules in reasonable pace and his explanations are more than clear. Course presents lots of tools and inspiration sources to help you start with simple website coding. Homework tasks allow to try out freshly learnt skills and get "hungry for more". It was fun to sieve internet for additional HTML and CSS tricks by myself - if you have a good base, you can develop further on your own. -

I have wanted to learn to code for a long time but always felt it would be too hard as I am not from a tech background. After attending the free coding class I decided to do it and join the beginners workshop. The way Matt explains things makes it so accessible and less scary. The support you get throughout and the quality of the classes is amazing, they will definitely be my first port of call should I wish to develop my coding skills further. Couldn't recommend enough. -
