Matt's lessons are clear and very easy to follow, and completing the challenges at the end of the lessons really made me understand how everything works. How often do we girls hear that computer science is not for us? I don't know about you, but I've heard it quite often.
That's why I was even more excited to learn that the SheCodes coding bootcamp was created specially for girls. In addition to the excellent introductory course into coding, very clear and well-thought-out structure and interesting challenges, the philosophy of the creators of SheCodes is very close to my own values - making programming world a little more gender diverse, as well as giving girls a chance to try themselves in a highly paid profession. Go girls! Even if it doesn't work out, at least you won't regret not trying. -

Coding has been something I've always wanted to learn and explore as a potential career, and it's not like I didn't try. I've read books, watched YouTube videos, and had friends explain it to me, but still, I couldn't wrap my head around it. This has been the best workshop I've invested in, and will HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to explore coding as a career or even hobby. The content is great and easy to understand. I work full-time and with their bite-size learning, I've been able to do both without feeling overwhelmed. I've finally been able to invest in a lifelong dream. -

I learnt HTML and CSS in the early 2000s and tried my hand at being a front-end developer. However, I felt like an imposter and lost my love for it because I couldn't get my head around JavaScript. After discovering SheCodes, I admittedly took a few months to finally take the plunge to enrol but I am extremely happy that I did! The way Matt breaks down each concept makes it incredibly easy to understand and apply. I truly wish SheCodes existed at the start of my career — my life would be very different today if it did. It's never too late though and I'm excited to start the next workshop! -

I'm a 23-year-old college 'dropout' who was lost about the career I wanted to pursue in my future. After discovering what computer programming really consisted of, and starting to learn it by myself, I found SheCodes and I am so thankful that I did. This was great! 🎉 A well-paced, user-friendly workshop. Matt is a great instructor, everything is explained in simple terms, and he literary guides you to understanding concepts. I've learned elements of coding before, so this served as a refresher course in helping cement my skills. Compared to other places I learned from, I found this was far more palatable when learning step-by-step, the explanations were easier to digest, and even something that can get complicated quickly, like JavaScript, was easier to understand. -

If you have no knowledge of coding, Shecodes is the very good place to start with. The lessons are broken into short videos and so easy for you to go through it. after each lesson you have a small project to test your knowledge and then you can see the instructor's solution for that. At the end I should say that I enjoyed my experience in Shecodes. -

I really enjoyed SheCodes basic workshop for two main reasons: first it has been taught in a pretty simple way including great examples and explanations which made the learning process very sweet and interesting. It was also fun. I must admit that Matt Delac is truly a great teacher. I spent hours watching videos and didn't notice that it was passing so fast. Second, the assignments had been designed so well that let the students practice the lessons in a highly productive and challenging way. They had an impressive role to help me master what I had learned through workshop. In a nutshell, I am really pleased with the first workshop and so excited to go to the next stage! 😍 😍 😍 😍 -

Before I signed up for an introduction to coding course, I've joined the free class and seeing Matt coding made me want to explore this completely new world to me more. I would highly recommend this course to everyone who would like to try something new, fun, interesting and is looking for a new path in their career. My friend took the 3-week course and mentioned it to me. We both work in tech for different companies. Coding is something I've always been interested in doing, but it intimidated me. It seemed so complex and overwhelming. Matt and the whole team do a terrific job of breaking it down, just like learning a new language. I'm so glad my friend brought this course to me.
