I enjoyed my QA Manual training with Careerist. There were various instructors teaching the lessons throughout the bootcamp. They make the lessons easy to understand and would answer our questions anytime we need additional clarifications on specific topics. After we graduated from the bootcamp, we are assigned to a mentor that will assist us with resume and job interview preparations, which I find very helpful. I highly appreciate the manual QA course leadership. The instructions were easy to follow to accomplish all the tasks and our team leader Daria Harashchenko was there pretty much 24/7 to answer the questions and guide thru the tasks. I recently completed the manual QA engineer bootcamp and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. I was looking for a course that could provide a solid foundation and help me get started in this field. This bootcamp did just that and more. The course content was well-structured and covered everything from the basics of manual testing to more advanced topics like test automation. Instructors were knowledgeable and engaging, and I felt comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification whenever I needed it. I had a fantastic experience with this bootcamp. I had a wonderful experience learning about Manual QA, my team lead was incredibly patient with me and help me learn everything that I needed to know throughout the internship! Overall I really enjoyed my experience with Careerist. I work full-time during the day and needed courses that would be flexible enough to work around my schedule. The Careerist classes were 3 days a week and in the evenings, which worked perfectly for me. Also, each class is recorded, so its easy to watch the recorded classes if you miss a day. The instructors are all knowledgeable and good at explaining the material and answering questions students leave in the chat. The pre-internship and internship after passing the classes provide excellent real-world experience for what you will actually be doing on the job. After successfully completing the internships, you are assigned a mentor to assist with your resume, LinkedIn profile and job search, which is very helpful. The JAS (Job Application System) is semi-automated and comes in handy with applying for jobs. Unfortunately, the fully automated version is currently not available. It may possibly come back but I am not sure. The only minor complaint that I have is that you do not get any kind of certificate of completion from Careerist. That would be nice. But overall, for under $5,000, Careerist is a great option if you are looking to pivot into Tech without accumulating massive debt going to a traditional College or University.  Read less

I purchased Manual QA course in July 2022, paid in full upfront. I didn't feel rushed or pressured by a salesperson. Course itself consists of 19 real-time lessons from different teachers. Some felt to me like they shouldn't be teaching, very monotonous and boring, but majority were great tutors, field pros with real experience, they were open to questions and feedback throughout the course. Overall the lessons part is pretty straightforward and simple, mostly theoretical, and few classes about field and interview preparation.  Internship. After you are done with classes you are joining the internship, curated by QA Lead. I've had 4 of those projects, each one to two weeks long. Everyday you are joining stand-up zoom meetings, discussing your projects, homework etc. This is meant to imitate real life work, and I've got some useful hands-on experience on how to use QA instruments and what are some common techniques. Most of QA leads I've interacted with were wery responsive and helpful, some projects were a bit messy and disorganized.Mentorship. I gotta say, this is the part where I've learn the most. You can learn theory on Udemy or youtube, but no one will tell you as much as their mentors on how to pass the interview, how to behave, how to properly structure your resume and approach, and so many useful insights about the industry. It is definitely not easy to get a job, but if you put enough effort and follow their advises, you'll land one sooner or later. The course itself is not flawless, but mentorship is balancing out all the imperfections. I'm seeing tens of their graduated getting hired each month, so it is working!  Read less

In general, the course of study was not bad. One inconvenience was this because of the time difference. The class ended too late because I had to get up for work at 3 am and the class ended at 11 рm. The teachers explained the topic quite well and in detail, and then checked the work done, correcting mistakes and guiding them in the right direction. Read less

Coming into these courses I was skeptical, because I tried many other courses that made a whole list of promises but in the end never met any of them. The biggest thing I learned about this school is that they deliver what they promise. The lessons are easy to understand, the teachers answer any questions you may have, in fact they encourage it. At the end of the course they help you with building résumés and LinkedIn account so you’d have the best chance of finding a job. I had the best experience while attending the school. I was going back-and-forth about entering in a Boot Camp. However, I’m glad I made a decision to go with my selection. They offer a lot of things that I didn’t see from other boot camps.
